She Rises with Rachel Clare

Rachel Rhien Tucker

A podcast for women who are ready to rise into their God-given identity, gifts, and purpose. You, friend, are incredible. You came to this earth with a divine identity and given unique and beautiful gifts, talents, and traits meant to bring you joy and help other people. Your personal mission may change during different seasons of your life. Your personal mission may focus completely on the home and family, or it may include other avenues of service or education or work. The key is to discover what it is that God sent you here to do, and then do it with faith that you'll receive the divine guidance that you'll need to be successful. But mortality is hard. It was meant to be that way. And the women who rise through difficulty or trial or illness or tragedy are leaders and examples to us all. At some point in each of our lives, we'll be there. We'll face those hard things. But with God, all things are possible, and Jesus Christ can help us rise through anything. This is a podcast about women, for women, that focuses on rising into who and what we were meant to become.

Ep. 024 - “You Choose”: When God Trusts You To Decide with Cali Black

Cali Black is widely known for helping thousands fall in love with the scriptures through Come, Follow Me—but in this episode of She Rises, we go deeper than scripture study. We talk about agency, trust, humility, and what it really looks like to let God guide our lives without controlling every outcome. Cali shares her personal story of becoming a teacher, stepping away from a career she loved after a clear prompting, and how a simple act of choosing to do good—without being commanded—led to the unexpected creation of her Come, Follow Me Study platform. Along the way, she opens up about identity, missed expectations, and the moments when God’s answer wasn’t “yes” or “no,” but simply, “You choose.” This conversation explores how honoring agency—our own and others’—can free us from fear, resentment, and judgment. We talk about making big life decisions, trusting that God will “make it good” either way, parenting with empowerment instead of control, and learning to let others walk their own paths without condemnation. If you’ve ever felt paralyzed by the fear of choosing wrong, wrestled with judgment (of yourself or others), or longed to trust God more fully while still owning your choices—this episode is for you. You can find Cali on Instagram @comefollowmestudy, on YouTube @comefollowmestudywithcaliblack, and on her podcast One Minute Scripture Study (wherever you listen). As always, Rachel can be found on Instagram @simplyrachelclare, and her website rachelclare.com, where you can find links to courses and faith-based life coaching.

Ep.023 - Rachel Tucker On The Power Of Believing In Yourself

In this solo episode of She Rises, Rachel invites listeners into a sacred and deeply personal conversation about believing in yourself—not in a shallow, motivational way, but through the lens of divine identity, divine potential, and spiritual gifts. Drawing from scripture, prophetic teachings, lived experience, and the quiet whisperings of the Spirit, Rachel explores why self-doubt is so dangerous and why faith in who you really are changes everything. Rachel reflects on the women she has watched rise in extraordinary ways—women who carry heavy responsibilities, face unexpected trials, say yes to daunting callings, build meaningful lives, and keep going even when the load feels overwhelming. She reminds us that none of this strength is accidental. We are literal children of Heavenly Parents, created in Their image, inheritors of both physical and spiritual traits, and endowed with eternal worth and limitless potential. This episode walks through three anchoring truths: you were created by divinity, you were given uniquely personal spiritual gifts, and you have a Savior who believes in you and empowers you through covenant power. Rachel discusses how spiritual gifts—both obvious and quiet—are clues to our purpose, how negative self-talk erodes confidence, and how choosing belief can unlock growth, courage, and peace. With tenderness and conviction, she testifies that through Christ, we can do hard things, small things with consistency, and seemingly impossible things. If you’ve ever questioned your abilities, doubted your capacity, or felt unsure whether you’re enough for what’s been placed on your shoulders, this episode is a reminder of who you are, where you came from, and what is truly possible when faith replaces fear. You were created equipped. You are not behind. And you are capable of far more than you think. Rachel can be found on her website, rachelclare.com, and on Instagram @simplyrachelclare.

Ep. 019 - Kelsey Oldroyd On Moving Through Grief With Faith

In this tender and faith-filled episode, I sat down with Kelsey Oldroyd, whose life has been shaped by profound loss—and unmistakable miracles. After losing her husband to cancer, she found herself, just one year later, spending an entire month in an intensive burn unit with her oldest son after a tragic accident. Now a single mother raising four boys, she shares how her relationship with Jesus Christ became not just a comfort, but a lifeline through unimaginable grief and fear. As a faithful woman of God, she speaks openly about learning to lean fully into the Savior during her darkest moments, and how doing so opened her eyes to the countless tender mercies, blessings, and miracles that surrounded her—even in the midst of trauma. In this conversation, we discuss trusting Jesus Christ when life feels unbearably heavy, recognizing miracles and God’s hand, saying yes to help, and seeing others as the Savior’s hands, and allowing yourself to feel joy again after deep grief. Her story is one of resilience, humility, and quiet strength. It is a powerful reminder that miracles don’t always look like an absence of pain—but often appear as sustaining grace, unexpected support, and the steady presence of the Savior carrying us through. If you or someone you love has experienced loss, heartbreak, or trauma, this episode offers hope, perspective, and a gentle invitation to notice God’s goodness even in the hardest seasons.
