    This is America??????

No… seriously. This is America? I was scrolling and came across a video reportedly filmed inside an ICE detention center, where women were crying out for help over inhumane living conditions. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It left me asking: How did we get here? This administration has me infuriated me. From immigration raids and detention centers, to trying to strip away voting rights, to food safety and government oversight—it feels like every week there’s another headline that makes you stop and say, Wait… what is actually going on? Have you heard about the reports of more than 83,000 Flock license plate cameras  used to track a woman allegedly trying to get an abortion? Or that AI data centers are being built in communities across the country, raising questions about privacy, energy use, and who really benefits? In this episode, we’re unpacking the headlines, asking the hard questions, and talking about what these policies and technologies could mean for our everyday lives. Because if this is supposed to be the land of the free… then it’s fair to ask: Who actually feels free? What 31 Already Taught Me!

What a beautiful way to welcome Chapter 31. 💜✨ From waking up with a good book (trying to finish my third read of July 📚), to Pilates, to seeing the new Spider-Man movie, and ending the day surrounded by some of my favorite people at my birthday pool party… this birthday was everything I hoped it would be. In this episode, I’m sharing why I truly believe you should claim your birthday as your own. Celebrate it in a way that fills your cup. Do what makes you happy. That’s exactly how I chose to welcome my 31st year, and it reminded me that joy doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s version to be meaningful. 🎉 I’m also sharing the three books I read during the month of July that I can’t recommend enough:  📖 The Lemonade Year 📖 The Alchemist 📖 OUTFOX And of course, we have to talk about Sunday’s sermon because… whew. It met me exactly where I was. One of my favorite things about this podcast is getting to reflect on the messages God places on my heart and sharing them with you, because we can all use a little encouragement. One reminder that has stayed with me is this:  Delay represents the season where God changes you before He changes your circumstances. Sometimes we’re so focused on asking God to change what’s around us that we miss the beautiful work He’s doing within us. The waiting isn’t wasted. It’s where our faith is strengthened, our character is refined, and we’re prepared for what’s on the other side of the prayer we’ve been praying. Come spend a little time with me as we celebrate another trip around the sun, reflect on the lessons, and step into this new year with gratitude, faith, and hope for everything that’s still to come. ✨💜 Send us Fan Mail This Is Where I Landed with Shayla I’m in my bold, soft, God‑led becoming era — and I hope this episode reminded you that you’re allowed to take up space too. ITS MY BIRTHDAY! 30 things 30 taught me

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEE 🥂🎉✨🫶🏽💜I’m so thankful and grateful to God to see another year, I didn’t think I’d make it here but God, here I am 🥹🙌🏽   Here are 30 things 30 taught me: I am capable of more than I give myself credit for.I am wise beyond my years.Aging is a beautiful lesson. It’s never too late to begin again.I am the only force that can stop me.I am unstoppable.I am brilliant.Letting go was the best thing I could have done for myself.I feel deeply, and that’s a beautiful trait to carry throughout life.I’m unlike anyone I know.I am blessed.I am the daughter of the King.I create peace within myself.I love the moon and the sun.I love myself.I forgive myself.I lack nothing.I am magnetic and attractive.I am hilarious.I am genuine.I am giving.I am capable of letting go so I can be open to receive.I am not my past mistakes or my traumas. I am so much more.I am sensitive.I am a great friend.I am a leader. When I speak, people listen.I am a truth teller.I am able to trust love. I deserve to love and be loved.I am physically strong.I practice what I preach. And one bonus lesson… 31. I am proud of my progress. Thirty has been one of the most eye-opening and transformational years of my life. This season has been pivotal—a time where I truly met myself and learned to extend grace to the woman I’m becoming. Every lesson, every challenge, every victory, and every setback has shaped me into the woman I am today. As grateful as I am for everything 30 gave me, I’m even more excited to see what 31 has in store. I have a feeling this next chapter is going to be filled with new opportunities, deeper purpose, and even greater joy. I’m walking into this year with an open heart, unwavering faith, and so much excitement for what’s ahead. My best days are yet to come. ✨ I hope one of these lessons reminds you of who you are and encourages you to celebrate your own journey, no matter what season of life you’re in. Thank you for growing with me. Here’s to becoming. 💜✨🫶🏽 Send us Fan Mail This Is Where I Landed with Shayla I’m in my bold, soft, God‑led becoming era — and I hope this episode reminded you that you’re allowed to take up space too. Love Yourself or Nobody Will

This episode was originally recorded on April 27, 2026—just one week after wrapping Season 3 and fresh off my very first sister trip to Denver! At the time, I was convinced this would be the kickoff to Season 4. But if you’ve been rocking with me, you already know this season is different. So today, we’re taking it back for a message that couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Let’s dive right in. If you follow the podcast on Instagram, you may have seen the before-and-after photos I recently shared of my weight loss—and weight gain. The response reminded me of something we all need to hear: your worth has never been determined by a number on a scale. Love the body you’re in. Love yourself through every season, every transformation, every setback, and every comeback. Because the relationship you have with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life. What we consume matters, too. It’s not just the food we eat—it’s the content we scroll, the conversations we entertain, and the messages we allow into our minds. Doom scrolling has become second nature for so many of us, but constantly absorbing negativity can quietly chip away at your mental and emotional well-being. That’s why being mindful isn’t just a trend—it’s a practice. It’s choosing to be present, protecting your peace, and paying attention to what nourishes your mind, body, and spirit. When we become intentional about what we consume and how we speak to ourselves, we create space to grow into healthier, happier versions of ourselves. We’re all students of life, continuously learning, unlearning, and evolving. So as you grow, don’t keep the lessons to yourself. Each one, teach one. You never know who needs the wisdom you’ve gained from your own journey. So if there’s one thing I hope you take away from this episode, it’s this: love yourself enough to choose yourself, protect your peace, and honor the person you’re becoming. Dad’s bday, Nolan Wells, and grief.

This Friday episode was recorded on 7/23/2026, my dad’s birthday and the beginning of LEO SEASON!! He was the biggest Leo I know, and the purest soul too. I’m honoring him, his light, and the way God has carried me through the long road of managing PTSD. I’ve come so far, and this episode gives voice to that growth while still holding space for the truth: the Nolan Wells tragedy brings its own triggers, its own echoes, its own stages of grief. This one moves like a memo from your bestie. I’m taking you through the last few days leading up to my dad’s birthday, the emotional waves that rose up, and the way grief, memory, and healing braided themselves together. Season 4 is evolving, and so am I — so this episode flows differently, with a deeper honesty and a softer courage. Prepare to experience all the feels. Tender. Spiritual. Reflective. Rooted in gratitude. A reminder that healing isn’t linear, but it is holy. The Woman With The Issue Of Blood

The woman with the issue of blood lived in suffering for twelve long years. Twelve years of pain. Twelve years of being pushed to the margins. Twelve years of trying everything the world told her would fix her. She spent all her money, all her energy, all her hope chasing healing that never came. But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough: She had a choice. She could have stayed home. She could have accepted her condition. She could have said, This is just my life now. She could have let the crowd intimidate her, let her weakness silence her, let her past convince her that her future was already decided. But she didn’t. She heard that Jesus was near. She heard that healing was possible. She heard that the One who carried power in His very presence was passing through. And right there, in that moment, she made a choice that changed everything. She chose faith over fear. She chose movement over stagnation. She chose hope over history. She chose to believe that God could do what no doctor, no remedy, no amount of money could do. She pressed through the crowd—tired, trembling, but determined. She reached out and touched the hem of His garment. Not His hand. Not His robe. Just the hem. The edge. The thread. And her choice activated her miracle. Her faith made her whole. This story reminds us that healing is God’s work, but choosing to reach for Him is ours. God doesn’t force healing on anyone. God doesn’t drag us into breakthrough. God doesn’t push us into freedom. He invites us. He waits for us. He honors the choices we make in faith. Everyone has a choice to make. You can choose to stay in what’s familiar or choose to step toward what’s divine. You can choose to keep carrying what’s hurting you or choose to reach for the One who can heal you. You can choose to believe your past or choose to believe God’s promise. Her story teaches us that your healing is on the other side of your reach. Your breakthrough is on the other side of your decision. Your freedom is on the other side of your faith. Only God can heal you. But you still have to choose Him.
