    Hold the line

What do you do when the pressure becomes too much? When financial struggles, sickness, betrayal, disappointment, anxiety, or spiritual opposition make you want to give up? In this powerful message, we are reminded of one simple instruction from the Lord: Hold the line. Jesus showed us what it looks like to remain obedient when the pressure is intense. In the days leading up to the cross, He faced betrayal, rejection, opposition, and the weight of what was ahead. Yet He continued to disciple others, serve, pray, and walk in His God-given purpose. In Gethsemane, Jesus teaches us that holding the line doesn't mean pretending we're not hurting. It means taking our distress to the Father, praying through the pressure, surrendering our will, and choosing obedience again and again. “Not My will, but Yours be done.” This message will encourage you to: Keep praying when the pressure comes back. Refuse to let offence make you walk away from Jesus. Stay obedient when the easy road looks tempting. Count the cost of following Christ. Keep discipling and serving even in difficult seasons. Pray with faith and authority rather than giving in to fear. Endure when the enemy is trying to make you compromise. The enemy wants you to give up. He wants you to grow cold, lose hope, compromise, and walk away. But God is calling you to hold the line. Don't give up. Don't compromise. Don't run away. Pray again. Stand again. Believe again. Hold the line. And remember: “You have need of endurance.” If you're feeling overwhelmed, heartbroken, or under pressure today, don't run from Jesus. Run to Him. Lay down your burdens before Him and allow His Spirit to strengthen you to keep going. Your faithfulness doesn't only affect you. There are people who still need to hear the Gospel, encounter Jesus, and be discipled—and your obedience matters. Hold the line. Your story isn't over.

The Beatitudes: Living the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth

What did Jesus really mean when He preached the Beatitudes? In this episode, we journey through the Sermon on the Mount and discover that the Beatitudes are more than beautiful sayings—they reveal the culture of God's Kingdom and the transformation that takes place when we are born again. Jesus begins with our greatest need: recognising that we are poor in spirit and in need of a Saviour. From there, He leads us through a life of continual transformation—mourning exchanged for comfort, pride replaced with meekness, hunger for righteousness, a heart of mercy, purity, peace, and the strength to endure persecution. The Kingdom of God is not something we achieve through human effort. It is the work of the Holy Spirit within us. As we surrender to Christ, He exchanges our brokenness for His abundant life and teaches us how to bring heaven's culture to earth. In this episode, you'll discover: Why being "poor in spirit" is the doorway into God's Kingdom. The great exchange that takes place through salvation. How the Beatitudes reveal the progression of spiritual growth. Why the Christian life is lived by the power of the Holy Spirit, not human striving. How to walk in mercy, humility, purity, peace, and victory even in seasons of persecution. Scripture References: • Matthew 5:1–12 • Matthew 6:10 • Matthew 11:28–30 • John 10:10 • Galatians 5:22–23 • Psalm 51:10 • Ezekiel 36:26–27 • Revelation 3:20 May this message encourage you to pursue Jesus with a fresh hunger and allow His Spirit to transform every area of your life as you live out the reality of His Kingdom each day.
