    Hold the Line | Jake Vayda

    Sunday, November 1st, 2026 This week we kicked off a brand new series walking through the book of James called Monday Morning Faith, starting with Hold the Line, and asked the question: how do I keep going when nothing seems to change? Looking at James 1:1-5, we saw that trials aren't always your fault—not every hardship is a verdict on your relationship with God. We saw that testing is often where God develops you, because joy is knowing God is working even when life is not. And we saw that transformation comes through perseverance, as God uses our steady trust to shape us into who we were always meant to be. Even when you can't see the progress, God is still at work.     I am Stuck, God is My Guide | Jake Vayda

    Sunday, October 25th, 2026 This week in our Big Problems, Bigger God series, we continued the story from Mark 5 by asking: can I trust Jesus with my future? We saw that Jesus has the power to give you freedom—not just managing what controls you, but actually setting you free. We saw that Jesus has a vision for your freedom, seeing who you can become even when you can only see what's holding you back. And we saw that Jesus has a purpose for your freedom—He doesn't just free us from something, He frees us for something, so our story can become someone else's invitation. A life of freedom begins with a leap of faith.     I Am Addicted, God is My Conqueror | Jake Vayda

    Sunday, October 18th, 2026 This week in our Big Problems, Bigger God series, we looked at I Am Addicted, God Is the Conqueror, and asked the question: how do I keep addiction from running my life? Walking through the story of the demon-possessed man in Mark 5, we saw that addiction is an ongoing disease that makes harmful behavior hard to stop. We saw that addiction pulls us into isolation, traps us in shame, and leads toward destruction. And we saw that Jesus can lead us out of addiction and into freedom—He doesn't wait for us to clean ourselves up first, He meets us in the middle of the mess.     I am Afraid, God is Above | Jake Vayda

    Sunday, October 11th, 2026 This week in our Big Problems, Bigger God series, we looked at I Am Afraid, God Is Above, and asked the question: how do I keep fear from running my life? Walking through the story of Elisha's servant in 2 Kings 6, we saw that fear tells us, "This is all there is"—convincing us our limits are the limits of what's possible. We saw that the limits of our senses are not the limits of reality, because there is always more going on than what we can see. And we saw that the God who is with us is greater than what is against us, even when what's against us feels overwhelming. The invitation is simple: "Lord, open my eyes."     I am Discouraged, God is Peace | Joe Prosepio

    Sunday, October 4th, 2026 This week in our Big Problems, Bigger God series, we looked at When You Are Discouraged, God Is Your Hope. We were reminded that God never promised a life without hardship—He promised we'd never face it alone. The fire isn't evidence that God has abandoned us; He's watching over us carefully in it. Feeling discouraged doesn't mean we've lost our faith. And our circumstances don't get to determine our hope, because God is our hope.     I Am Anxious, God is Peace | Jake Vayda

    Sunday, September 27th, 2026 This week in our Big Problems, Bigger God series, we looked at I Am Anxious, God Is Peace, and asked the question: how do I keep anxiety from running my life? Walking through Hannah's story in 1 Samuel 1, we saw anxiety show up in the same three places it shows up for us—our identity, our relationships, and our future. But we also saw three ways Hannah received peace before her circumstances ever changed: she poured out what she'd been holding in, she devoted to God what she desired from God, and she didn't wait for someone else to seek God for her. Looking at 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, we saw that our capacity has limits, even when our compassion keeps saying yes. We saw that we can ask for God's strength before we reach the end of our own. And we saw that the next step is ours to take, but the whole future is God's to hold.     The Table Is Where We Continue Following Jesus | Jake Vayda

    Sunday, September 13th, 2026 This week we wrapped up our At The Table series by asking: how do I change where my life is actually headed? Looking at Luke 5:32, we saw that you can't correct what you won't confront—Jesus invites people who are honest about their need for Him, not people pretending they have it all together. We saw that a changed life begins with a changed direction, because repentance isn't shame, it's a course correction that starts leading you somewhere new. And we saw that staying on course requires staying connected, because Jesus never intended for us to change alone—He brings us into a family and does His deepest work through the people around us.
