    JOY OF GIVING: Making donations is far more than just a duty or a line item in our monthly budget; it is a source of genuine, deep-seated joy. When we give freely, we align our hearts with the very character of God, who gave us His absolute best. Solomon reminds us in Proverbs 3:9 to "Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase." Giving God the first and best part of what we earn isn't about paying a debt—it's a joyful expression of trust. It's our way of saying, "Lord, You provided this for me, and I trust You to take care of tomorrow." There is also a wonderful promise tied to generosity that transforms how we view our resources. In Proverbs 19:17, Scripture tells us, "He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given." Think about that: whenever you help someone in need, God treats it as if you were lending directly to Him! And Jesus takes this a step further in Luke 6:38, encouraging us with these words: "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom." God never stays in our debt. When we let go of what is in our hands, He fills them right back up with blessings that overflow.     HOW TO TRUST GOD: Trusting God is not a passive feeling, but an intentional act of yielding our personal control, understanding, and expectations to His sovereign leadership. As Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, we are called to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Human reasoning is inherently finite and often clouded by circumstance, yet God’s perspective encompasses eternity. Resting in His promises, such as Philippians 4:19, assures us that "God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus," providing full confidence that He remains faithful to meet us in every season of life.     God wants you to be well—in your body, your mind, and your heart. All throughout the Bible, we see that healing isn't just something God can do; it’s a core part of who He is. Jesus spent a huge part of His time on earth going from town to town, healing every kind of sickness and disease. When you're hurting or dealing with an illness, you don’t have to guess how God feels about it. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to praise the Lord and "forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases." God cares about what hurts you, and His desire is to restore you. The real power behind God’s healing comes from what Jesus did for us on the cross. When Jesus suffered and died, He didn’t just take away our sins—He also carried our pain and sickness. The prophet Isaiah wrote about this long before Jesus was born, saying, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). That means your healing has already been paid for. When you stand on that truth, you can trust that God's power is actively working on your behalf, no matter how tough your situation looks right now. Receiving God's healing starts with faith, which simply means taking Him at His word. You don't need fancy words or complicated prayers to talk to Him; you just need to trust Him like a child trusts a parent. James 5:14-15 tells us, "Is anyone among you sick?     We all deal with mistakes, guilt, and a heavy feeling that something in our lives is broken. No matter how good we try to be, none of us are perfect, and that creates a distance between us and God. That’s where Jesus comes in. He bridged that gap by dying on the cross for our sins and rising back to life, offering us full forgiveness and a fresh start. As the Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."     Worry has a sneaky way of creeping into our everyday lives, whether we're stressing paying the bills, caring for our families, or trying to figure out what tomorrow brings. But God never intended for us to carry the heavy weight of anxious thoughts on our own shoulders. In Philippians 4:6–7, we are reminded not to worry about anything, but instead to pray to God about everything, bringing our needs to Him with thankful hearts. When we do this, He promises a deep, quiet peace that goes beyond anything we can humanly understand—a peace that guards our hearts and minds like a protective shield. Even when we start to fear that we won't have enough time, energy, or money, Philippians 4:19 assures us that God will supply all our needs from His endless riches in Christ Jesus. True biblical peace isn't just the absence of trouble or a calm feeling when everything is going right; it is a gift that stays with us even in the middle of life's storms. In John 14:1, Jesus speaks directly to our fears, telling us not to let our hearts be troubled, but to put our trust in Him. Later in that same chapter (John 14:27), He offers us His very own gift of peace — a lasting peace that the world simply cannot give and cannot take away. When the world around us feels chaotic or unpredictable, Jesus calls us to anchor our hearts in His presence rather than letting fear spin us out of control. Living in this kind of peace is a choice we get to make every single day as we trust God with our lives. Colossians 3:15 encourages us to let the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts, acting like a referee that steps in to settle conflicts, calm our nervous thoughts, and replace anxiety with gratitude.
