Welcome! There appears to be a gap between the conduct of God's people that we read about in Scripture and what we see around us today in the 21st century western church. There are beliefs and ways of reading into Scripture that have been ingrained in us for the past 2,000 plus years, but when you look at the church in Acts, or at the laws laid out in Torah, they just don't match. And why do we call them the 10 Commandments when we only follow nine? Follow along with me as we look at things that are old and forgotten, and as we learn what it means to Just Live By Faith!

    Practically Pursuing Holiness: Temperance vs. Gluttony

    Imitte me as I imitate Christ. We have been given a high and holy calling to shine the light of Yahweh into the world of darkness around us by being holy and set apart to Yah. And at first the idea of becoming holy almost seems impossible, but our Father in Heaven wouldn't tell us to do something if it was unattainable. So today we are beginning our series on what does it look like to live a life of holiness, is it really something that we, as flawed human beings, can ever hope to claim? I want to encourage you through this study and say that "Yes! We can be holy as He is holy!" And not only that, but we can be like Paul and tell those around us to "Imitate me as I imitate Christ!" because we have tasted how good His ways are, and we want others to taste and see too! So join me today as we take our first look at some things about our lives that we can change through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the active and living Word of Yah so that we can be a people who Just Live By Faith.

    War on the Womb

    There is a war being waged, and most don't even know that they are in it. With abortions reaching to 1.12 million in 2025 alone, rising infertility rates and decreasing intrest in having children, like China, the US is beginning to experince the shock of not having enough babies to replace the generation leaving. The terrible fact about this is that the lack of intrest and fears over having children has leaked into the Church as well, so now Christian families average around the same size as secular families. It has become increasingly harder to distinguish between the two, and my family was no different...until God! In this episode I go over my husband's and my journey of overcoming our reservations of having more children and finally being able to rest in our trust of YHWH's promises that He gives us throughout His word. Our fears of how we would be able to afford another baby, where we would put him/her, and how we could find time for them has been addressed and overcome by the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our hearts. We are finally able to see past the burden of responsibility to see them as the blessing they really are! If you have also been on the fence, but aren't sure of what to do and could use some encouragement, then I invite you along as I tell you our story and take a stand against the plans of the enemey.     Unclean Animals...They're NOT on the menu

    Welcome back friend! Today we are getting personal. We are addressing what we put on our dinner plates and into our bellies. Join me as we dive into the Word of God to see if He really means for us to not eat cerrtain animals, and if He possibly changed His mind after Christ died and rose again. We look at the boundaries laid out for us in the Torah, how the prophets spoke of eating these animals and what that reveals to us of the inner man, and then we even read about what Jesus, Peter and Paul have to say on the matter with a little bit of science sprinkled on top for some pizz-azz!     Does God hate sacrifices?
