    The Rebuilding Disney World Episode

Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Grim Grinning Dads. In this episode, the dads kick things off by diving into some of the latest Disney news before turning their attention to one dangerous question: if they had complete control over Walt Disney World, what would they change? And absolutely no park is safe. The dads imagine what Disney World could look like if they were the ones calling the shots, pitching everything from attraction replacements and land rethemes to restaurant ideas, entertainment upgrades, and long-overdue park changes. Some ideas are realistic. Others would probably get them banned from Imagineering headquarters forever. From Magic Kingdom to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios to Animal Kingdom, the guys break down what they think works, what doesn’t, and what could make the parks even better for families, Disney adults, and dads just trying to survive vacation planning. Along the way, they debate ride updates, park flow, nighttime entertainment, food offerings, and the attractions they think deserve a second chance. The conversation turns into a mix of dream projects, unpopular opinions, impossible budgets, and complete Disney chaos as the dads try to rebuild Walt Disney World one bad decision at a time. Whether you agree with their ideas or think they should never be allowed near a blue sky meeting, this episode is packed with Disney debates, dad opinions, and plenty of Grim Grinning nonsense. ⸻ Follow our ghostly hosts: https://www.tiktok.com/@grim.grinning.dads https://www.instagram.com/grimgrinningdads https://open.spotify.com/show/5U83wx8xDx4L8DfTpfn5FW?si=KeMABxNJR-uhOTJFrxQx4Q https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-grim-grinning-dads/id1836816757 Summon us anytime at grimgrinningdads@gmail.com If you’d like help conjuring your next Disney vacation, let us know at the link below: https://forms.gle/oxdsS1KYjQCUAqmc9 ⸻ Theme music for The Grim Grinning Dads Podcast created by @AdamPineless. The Coast to Coast Dad Mode Episode

Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Grim Grinning Dads. In this episode, the dads take a coast-to-coast journey through Disneyland and Walt Disney World—not to crown a winner, but to talk about what each destination is really like from a dad’s perspective. From park pacing and transportation to snacks, dining, and survival strategies, the dads break down the biggest differences between Disneyland and Disney World through the lens of family trips, tired feet, overstimulated kids, and dads just trying to make magic happen without losing their sanity. The guys talk about why Disneyland’s compact layout creates a completely different vacation rhythm compared to the massive scale of Walt Disney World. They discuss how transportation changes the flow of your trip, why planning styles differ between both resorts, and how family dynamics can shape which destination feels right for different stages of life. The conversation also dives into dining strategy across both coasts, including quick service meals, sit-down restaurants, character dining, and how much planning is actually worth doing before your trip. Along the way, the dads discuss meeting princesses, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experiences, and the moments that make Disney trips memorable for both kids and parents. More than anything, this episode is about how different Disney vacations feel depending on the stage of life your family is in—and how dads experience the parks differently than most travel guides talk about. Whether you’re planning your first Disney trip, deciding which coast fits your family best, or just want to hear three Disney dads overanalyze theme park logistics, this episode is for you. ⸻ Follow our ghostly hosts: Grim Grinning Dads TikTok Grim Grinning Dads Instagram The Grim Grinning Dads on Spotify The Grim Grinning Dads on Apple Podcasts Summon us anytime at grimgrinningdads@gmail.com If you’d like help conjuring your next Disney vacation, let us know at the link below: Disney Vacation Request Form ⸻ Theme music for The Grim Grinning Dads Podcast created by @AdamPineless. The Worst Tips & Tricks Episode

Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Grim Grinning Dads. In this episode, the dads kick things off with the surprising news surrounding Spirit Airlines reportedly shutting down operations and what that could mean for Disney travelers everywhere. From delayed flights and questionable airline experiences to the chaos of trying to get to Orlando in one piece, the guys swap travel horror stories and debate whether budget airlines are worth the gamble in the first place. From there, the conversation shifts into some of the absolute worst Disney Parks advice the dads have ever seen online—and there is plenty to unpack. From terrible rope drop strategies to overhyped “must-do” experiences, the dads break down the planning tips that can completely derail a Disney vacation. Are some Disney hacks actually making trips more stressful? Why do certain bad tips keep circulating year after year? And how many people are treating Disney World like a military operation instead of a vacation? The dads dive into bad dining recommendations, questionable park strategies, Lightning Lane mistakes, and the internet’s obsession with overplanning every second of a trip. Along the way, they share what they would actually recommend instead, balancing practical advice with the usual Grim Grinning Dads chaos. The Genie Travel Summit Episode

Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Grim Grinning Dads. In this episode, the dads are coming to you LIVE from Walt Disney World, running on Lightning Lanes, snacks, and pure chaos as they attempt to recap multiple days that have all somehow blended into one. The trip kicks off with an immediate dive into indulgence—Gideon’s cookies, quick service runs, and the realization that when you can’t check into your room, you might as well start eating. From there, the dads spiral into trying to piece together their first full days, quickly discovering they’ve done far too much to keep it all straight. Things escalate early with a rope drop run through Disney’s Animal Kingdom, knocking out Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest before most guests even enter the park. Meanwhile, another group gets an up-close look at elephants during the Caring for Giants tour, leading to one of the more unexpectedly memorable experiences of the trip. Back at the resorts, the dads get a behind-the-scenes look at Disney’s deluxe offerings, touring Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa while learning how to better sell the magic. Of course, all that learning quickly leads back to food—specifically the chaos of ordering at Woody’s Lunch Box and the ongoing debate over what actually qualifies as the best quick service meal. The day continues with stunt shows, villain encounters, and a strong stance on which Disney villains were robbed. From there, the dads head to Sanaa for one of the best meals on property, complete with bread service, drinks, and at least one questionable request for an Uncrustable. As if that wasn’t enough, the chaos carries into a full park-hopping day featuring Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. With surprise Lightning Lanes in hand, the dads take on TRON, Haunted Mansion, PeopleMover, and a newly upgraded Buzz Lightyear before heading to EPCOT for redemption on Test Track and a full send on Mission: SPACE—which leaves one unfortunate child completely wrecked. Of course, no EPCOT day would be complete without a stop at Club Cool, where bad decisions are made, lessons are not learned, and Beverly is consumed… more than once. The night wraps with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, where the dads experience one of the best rides on property—paired with the absolute worst possible song at the worst possible time. Meanwhile, Charlie remains at home, slowly unraveling as he’s bombarded with FaceTime calls, food videos, and live streams of fireworks he cannot attend. His descent into madness becomes a running theme as the dads continue living out the trip he wishes he was on. The episode wraps with desserts from around the world, fireworks over EPCOT, and one final realization—this trip may be chaotic, exhausting, and completely unhinged… but it’s exactly why they keep coming back. ⸻ Follow our ghostly hosts:https://www.tiktok.com/@grim.grinning.dads https://www.instagram.com/grimgrinningdads https://open.spotify.com/show/5U83wx8xDx4L8DfTpfn5FW?si=9389edfbca2447fd https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-grim-grinning-dads/id1836816757 Summon us anytime at grimgrinningdads@gmail.comIf you’d like help conjuring your next Disney vacation, let us know at the link below: https://forms.gle/oxdsS1KYjQCUAqmc9 ⸻Theme music for The Grim Grinning Dads Podcast created by @AdamPineless.
