    I Wanna Be The Very Best (Rapper) , How To Be Black , Anticon & The White Rapper Paradox

    THIS TIME : The Minute Crew wanna be the very best like no one ever was , but TREDOES asks whether that is the best way to build up the hip-hop community. Inspired by a conversation by Open Mike Eagle about Lupe Fiasco , the crew questions how the want to be "the best" informs our culture both positive and negative. Next , KOSEY's lame-ass nerd-ass book-reading-ass wants to talk about Stephen E. Henderson's ideas of "Saturation" , a concept that describes the parts of black art that denote blackness. As definitions of blackness continue to expand and contract , shift and solidify, the things we point towards as black do the same, and we aim to figure out how today's expressions contrast with those of the past. Finally, MEGA has a bone to pick with the discussions of Anticon's whiteness, feeling as though a lot of the conversations around how they operated have taken an ahistorical approach.
