Money Moves Debuts, Towne Mall's New Name & a Namaste Revisit | E35

Grafton Sizemore is now a weekly Hardin Local co-host, and this is the first Money Moves with G: why he will not give an exact rate on air, and why the idea that you need 20 percent down to buy a house is a myth. He walks through what low and zero down programs look like in general terms, what mortgage insurance really is, the "wait for rates" math, and why long-time renters are not locked out. Education only, not a rate quote or an offer. Also this week: Nate Bryan says Towne Mall is being renamed City Center, American Eagle opened, and Bean Cove and Whispering Dandelions Farm are closing. Jon O'Brien has a packed Labor Day Saturday, the veterans Stand Down, Fort Knox gate closures and the last two walking tours of the season. Rachel Brantingham's housing numbers show inventory falling to 439 as 24 homes went under contract, with a warning about contract releases. And Britten McDowell revisits Namaste Indian Cuisine and explains what a first-timer should order.
