The Purple Pillage Week #6 - 2026

Welcome to the Purple Pillage and week #6. The Vikings take their undefeated, 5-0 record into week #7 following their bye week, as they host the 2-4 Colts this Sunday at US Bank Stadium. We preview the game and list some keys, including trying to stop Jonothan Taylor. The Vikings welcome back Jordan Mason to help fill the backfield gap at running back. Aaron Jones has been a bell cow over the last 4 weeks and will get a much needed assist. We also discuss trade rumors on Jauan Jennings and JJ McCarthys debut with the Giants. The Purple Pillage Week #3 - 2026

Welcome to the Purple Pillage and week #3. We discuss the Vikings' 23-16 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Justin Jefferson went out early with an ankle injury but the special teams came through to put most of the points on the board. The defense shined once again, as the offense continues to try to get on track. We also look ahead to the 0-3 Dolphins coming to US Bank stadium this coming Sunday. They will be without their starting running back, Achane. The Vikings are hoping to get Jefferson back and to get the offense going. We discuss other keys to the game, to hopefully get the Vikings to 4-0, as they are an 11.5 point favorite. Thanks and until next week, Pillage on!

The Purple Pillage Week #2 - 2026

Welcome to the Purple Pillage and week #2. We take a look back at the Vikings 9-3 win over the Bears in Chicago. We discuss how the Vikings excelled in adverse weather conditions and played relatively mistake free on offense and made some big plays on defense to get the road win. We give our offensive and defensive players of the game. We also take a look ahead, as the Vikings travel to Tampa Bay on Sunday to take on the Bucs. Baker Mayfield at QB and Bucky Irving at RB have led the way on their offense, yet, they are 0-2 on the season and in, what some would say, is a must win already in the season. The Vikings are on the other end of the spectrum, looking to stay undefeated and improve to 3-0. Kyler Murray has passed concussion protocol and has already been named a starter for Sunday, as Carson will fall back to backing him up. We discuss other keys to a Viking victory and give our predictions for the week. Thanks and until next week, Pillage on!
