Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Welcome to the very first episode of Gaming with Gay2K! 🎲👻 Today, we are taking a break from our usual pop culture deep dives to roll some dice. Grab your favorite 80s Halloween candy and join our special guest, Kaj (our Keeper of Arcane Lore), as he leads Sarah and Alex through a spooky, 1984-themed Call of Cthulhu one-shot! In this episode: It’s Halloween night in Kingsport, Massachusetts. Sarah plays Jax, a space-obsessed 12-year-old dressed as an astronaut, and Alex plays Diego, a reluctant middle-schooler just trying to survive the night in his Tootsie costume. For the first time ever, Jax and Diego are allowed to go trick-or-treating without parental supervision—if they can manage to ditch Jax's annoying older brother, Sid. But the quest for the neighborhood's best candy takes a chilling turn when local playground rumors lead them to the doorstep of the abandoned Prescott house. With strange noises echoing from inside and the streets growing unusually quiet, our young investigators are about to find out if their luck will hold, or if something sinister is waiting for them in the dark. Will they make it home before curfew? You'll have to watch to find out! 🎨 Special Thanks: A huge shoutout to Kaj's daughter, Antaras, for the incredible custom artwork featured on our virtual tabletop today! Look closely for some fun horror movie Easter eggs. All artwork discussed can be found at https://gay2kpodcast.substack.com/ This is just the beginning of our new "Gaming with Gay2K" series. Let us know in the comments what you think, and stay tuned for future adventures in the Alien RPG and Dungeons & Dragons! Don't forget to like, subscribe, so you never miss an episode of Gay2K!
