    Episode 10: Memory, Identity, and the Armenians of Sudan

    In Episode 10 of De Podcast, we sit down with Vahe Boghosian, project director of Sudanahye, the Sudanese-Armenian Heritage Project.Sudanahye is a multimedia research initiative documenting the history and legacy of Sudan’s Armenian community through oral histories, photographs, archival research and personal stories. The project seeks to preserve a little-known chapter of the Armenian Diaspora while exploring the place Armenians held within Sudan’s diverse society.Vahe discusses how Armenians first established themselves in Sudan, built churches, schools, businesses and community institutions, and maintained their Armenian identity while becoming an integral part of Sudanese life.We also explore Vahe’s personal connection to the community, the family stories that inspired Sudanahye and the process of reconstructing a history scattered across countries, archives and private collections.     Episode 5: Building ReArmenia

    In Episode 5, De Podcast co-hosts Dickran and Hagop sit down with reArmenia CEO Gevorg Poghosyan. Gevorg discusses the mission, vision, and key milestones of reArmenia and explains how anyone, from anywhere in the world, can get involved and contribute to the platform’s growing impact. Hosted by Dickran and Hagop—two diasporans who are very invested in their Homeland—this podcast is a space for open and honest conversations about the issues that matter: from politics and social change to language, history, and personal stories of navigating life between worlds. In this episode, we introduce ourselves, share what inspired us to create this platform, and explain the meaning behind the name De/դէ. A common Armenian word with many uses, դէ can express urgency, agreement, encouragement, or frustration—capturing the tone and flexibility we hope to bring to each conversation.
