Do you wish you could get and stay pregnant? Do you struggle to navigate the fear, anxiety, worry, doubt, grief and sadness that comes with trying to conceive (and failing)? All while torturously waiting month after month, wondering if there's something wrong with you… Girl, it can be a lonely journey, and you don't have to wait it out alone. This podcast will introduce you to holistic health strategies to boost your fertility and provide inspiration from other mamas who have been there – and went on to meet their miracle baby! It will help you navigate all of the emotions that come with trying to conceive and provide tangible solutions you can take to increase your chances of having the family you always wanted. Hey, I'm Alli, a mom, wife and life coach turned neurolinguistic programming master practitioner. In 2020, we began our journey to grow our family, and our first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. When conventional medicine failed me, I went on a quest for solutions that would help me get and stay pregnant, while finding inspiration from other women who successfully conceived after loss or infertility. With motherhood as my #1 aspiration, I followed expensive protocols, took countless supplements and sought input from multiple providers. I finally realized that if I was going to have the family I always wanted, I needed to understand health holistically and stop expecting one solution to magically make me get pregnant. Additionally, while so much of this journey is physical, I learned there's a huge emotional element that is often overlooked. As someone who has tried it all, I share what actually moved the needle on our fertility journey and led to me meeting my miracle baby. And, as we look to add more babies to our family, everything we're experimenting with this time around! Here, you'll find community, support and inspiration from women who get it – when no one else can. If you're looking for answers to getting and staying pregnant while seeking community with other women who can relate to what you're going through, you've come to the right place! It's time to stop trying to conceive and start conceiving…let me help you make the physical, mental and emotional shifts needed to meet your miracle baby!

13 | The Number Your Doctor Calls Fine That May Be Costing You Your Pregnancy

Did your doctor test your progesterone — and do you know what they actually found? What if a number that never even got raised to you was sitting in your chart the whole time, quietly falling short of what your pregnancy needed? Have you been told your levels looked fine and accepted that answer because you didn’t know what fine actually meant? With my first pregnancy, one of the earliest signs something was off was spotting. I called my OB, went in for an ultrasound and was told to keep an eye on things. My HCG was rising the way it should. But buried in that very first round of early pregnancy labs was my progesterone — and it wasn’t where it needed to be. Unfortunately, that number was never raised to me, and I was never given the option for hormone supplementation. And then I miscarried. It wasn’t until after the pregnancy loss that I pulled those results myself. I will never know if supplementing would have changed the outcome. But I know I never had the chance to try. In this episode, I’m sharing five things you need to know about progesterone so you can walk into your next appointment ready to advocate for yourself. I cover when progesterone should be tested, what the standard lab ranges actually say (source: Quest reference range at time of publishing) versus what functional medicine and reproductive endocrinology providers consider optimal. Plus, why progesterone support exists, is widely considered safe and is something you have every right to ask about — even if your doctor pushes back. You’ll walk away knowing the exact questions to bring to your provider before you conceive and in those earliest weeks of pregnancy, how to read your own results with a more informed eye and what to say if you’re met with resistance. Because the number your doctor calls fine may not be the number your pregnancy needs. Fine is not our bar. It has never been our bar and it will never be our bar. We demand excellence, and excellence starts with optimal. From Miscarriage to Motherhood is the holistic health podcast for women who desperately want to get and stay pregnant. 12 | Why Your Doctor Isn’t Testing the One Thing That Could Prevent Another Miscarriage

Did your doctor check your thyroid — and do you actually know what they tested? What if the number your doctor called normal is the very thing that may have cost you your pregnancy? Have you been brushing off symptoms like hair loss, fatigue or irregular cycles — and wondering if they could be connected to your fertility? Before my first pregnancy, my hair was falling out in clumps. I flagged it to my doctor, who ran a thyroid test and told me everything was fine. It wasn’t until after my miscarriage that I went back and pulled those labs — and realized she had only tested one marker, TSH, and that number was much higher than what research and functional medicine providers recommend for women trying to conceive. I didn’t know what optimal looked like. I just trusted normal. In this episode, I’m sharing why TSH alone is not a thyroid panel, what a full thyroid panel actually includes and why the standard reference ranges most doctors use were never built for women trying to conceive after loss. I also share the story of a friend who saw four conventional doctors — none of whom diagnosed her with Hashimoto’s — before a functional medicine provider finally did, right before she started IVF. With proper treatment in place, both of her embryo transfers were successful. The diagnosis didn’t just change her circumstances. It changed what was possible for her entire family. You’ll walk away with five things you should know about comprehensive thyroid testing, the specific labs to request by name, which symptoms are worth taking seriously and how to show up in that conversation with your doctor — even if you’ve already been dismissed. Because normal does not equal optimal. And when it comes to getting and staying pregnant, you deserve a higher bar. 10 | I Put My Business on Credit Cards: Why One Mom Chose Family Time Over Financial Security

In this episode of Aspirations Over Hesitations, Alli Eldridge sits down with Dr. Cortney Kante, chiropractor and founder of Edge Rehab Chiropractic, to explore what it takes to walk away from financial security and build a brick-and-mortar business that prioritizes both family and purpose. Cortney shares her journey from feeling burnt out in a traditional healthcare job where she felt guilty for using PTO for her kids' appointments to opening her own practice with minimal savings, credit card debt and an unshakable conviction that there had to be a better way. They discuss the financial realities of entrepreneurship, from doing Instacart deliveries to depleting their savings. Cortney opens up about the physical breaking point that finally pushed her to make the leap—a shoulder injury and a burned hand that forced her out of practice and became the "God push" she needed to stop hesitating. She also shares how she built her patient base from scratch through genuine community connections, invested in business education to avoid costly mistakes and went from burnt out to booked out by working smarter instead of longer. This episode also dives deep into boundaries and what it really means to protect your time as a working mom. Cortney explains how she's refusing to miss bedtime, school drop-offs and pickups or class parties by scheduling her practice around moments that matter most. She shares her rehab-based chiropractic model that empowers patients through hour-long appointments and customized care plans instead of creating lifelong dependency. She offers practical advice on finding providers who truly listen, avoiding fear-based healthcare and building a business that supports the life you actually want to live. If you're ready to stop sacrificing family time for a paycheck that doesn't fulfill you, this episode is your permission slip to take the leap, set fierce boundaries and build something extraordinary on your own terms. 9 | Healing Without Band-Aids: Why One Nurse Practitioner Rebelled Against Traditional Healthcare

In this episode of Aspirations Over Hesitations, Alli Eldridge sits down with Jillian Tate, board-certified family nurse practitioner and founder of the Rebel Institute of Health, to discuss why she walked away from traditional healthcare—and what she discovered about healing on the other side. Jillian shares the story that changed everything: her husband's type 2 diabetes diagnosis at age 21, the doctors who dismissed her questions and the moment she realized the medical system was setting him up for a lifetime of unnecessary medications. Through a ketogenic diet and lifestyle changes, he reversed his diabetes completely, a transformation that would ignite Jillian's career in functional medicine. They dive into the realities of women's health today, exploring why so many high-achieving mothers are experiencing hormone imbalances, adrenal fatigue, thyroid dysfunction and stubborn weight gain. Jillian explains how chronic stress, inadequate nourishment and the over-prescription of birth control are contributing to widespread infertility and metabolic issues. She emphasizes the importance of integrative medicine—combining the best of functional and traditional approaches—and shares her five pillars of lifestyle medicine: diet, exercise, stress management, relationships and sleep. This episode also explores the challenges of building a business while raising three children and the guilt that comes with leaving traditional medicine to practice in a way that aligns with your values. Jillian offers practical advice for being your own health advocate, finding providers who truly listen and doing your own research without falling prey to misinformation. Whether you're dealing with unexplained symptoms, feeling dismissed by doctors or simply wanting to optimize your wellness, this conversation will inspire you to rebel against the status quo and take charge of your health journey. 8 | Ditching the Sunday Scaries — How a Marketing Mom Replaced Her Salary in 6 Months

In this episode of Aspirations Over Hesitations, Alli Eldridge sits down with healthcare marketing strategist Leecy Chiles to explore her journey from nearly a decade in corporate to launching Marae Marketing—a business helping health and wellness providers grow their practices. Leecy shares the raw reality of collecting her annual bonus and then walking away from corporate, not because she hated her job, but because the pandemic fundamentally shifted her perspective on motherhood, time and what she actually wanted from life. She opens up about the 18-month evolution from seed of an idea to resignation letter and how watching a friend take the freelance leap first gave her permission to believe it was possible. They discuss the practical side of leaving corporate—from mapping out a 90-day financial cushion to working Saturdays at Starbucks while her family was at home to building her business one small step at a time. Leecy breaks down how she replaced her corporate salary in six months through referrals and organic networking, why she limits herself to four retainer clients at a time and the mindset shift that helped her realize corporate income isn't actually as stable as it seems. She also gets honest about the decompression period after leaving, the weird guilt of not having back-to-back Zoom meetings and learning to give herself permission to live in the gray between working mom and stay-at-home mom. This episode offers actionable insights on corporate exit planning, overcoming self-doubt as a new business owner, the power of values-driven entrepreneurship and why choosing your hard matters more than avoiding challenges altogether. It's a candid conversation for women in marketing, communications or any corporate role who are feeling pulled toward something different but aren't sure how to make the leap without sacrificing financial stability or losing their identity in the process. She shares the raw reality of feeling like pregnancy might never happen and the mindset shift that changed everything. Charmi shares the raw reality of her early years in America—from confidence-crushing job interviews to being fired via email while on vacation—and how those challenges ultimately led her to create Cimply Fit, where she now coaches women worldwide.
