What Does It Mean to Be Healthy? Nutrition, Gut Health & Thriving with Adi “Tiger”

What if being healthy is about more than simply avoiding illness? In this episode of the Venusian Womb Podcast, we sit down with health coach and lifestyle optimisation specialist Adi, also known online as Tiger, to explore what it means to move beyond simply surviving and begin cultivating a life where we can genuinely thrive. Together, we explore the relationship between nutrition, movement, gut health, nervous system regulation, mindset, and the everyday signals our bodies are constantly giving us. Adi shares from years of personal experimentation and coaching experience, offering a perspective on health that prioritises individualisation over one-size-fits-all solutions. We talk about the “grey zone” many people find themselves in, not necessarily sick enough to seek help, but not feeling truly well either. From waking up tired and depleted to digestive issues, poor sleep, skin changes, low energy, and feeling disconnected from the body, we explore how these signals can become invitations to pay closer attention rather than simply symptoms to suppress. The conversation also moves into gut health, the gut-brain connection, food quality, and the importance of creating the right conditions for the body to restore and regulate. Rather than looking for another quick fix, Adi speaks to the value of removing what is not working, establishing a personalised baseline, and gradually learning what allows your body to thrive. We also explore health through the lens of agency. What happens when we stop outsourcing our wellbeing entirely to external systems and begin developing our own capacity to listen to, understand, and care for our bodies? And how might our definition of health change when we start asking not only, “How do I prevent something from going wrong?” but “What kind of life do I actually want to be well enough to live?” From nutrition and strength training to sleep, identity, sustainable habits, and the role of coaching, this episode invites us to consider health as a foundation for everything else we want to experience, create, and contribute. Ultimately, this conversation is an invitation to zoom out, define what thriving actually means to you, and begin making small, sustainable changes that bring your everyday life into greater alignment with that vision. About Our Guest Adi, also known online as Tiger, is a health coach and lifestyle optimisation specialist with a background in kinesiology, applied physiology, nutrition, strength and conditioning, and injury support. His approach to health brings together nutrition, gut health, physical training, nervous system awareness, and personalised experimentation. Drawing from years of working with his own body as well as coaching clients, Adi helps people develop a deeper understanding of what allows them to feel energised, resilient, and capable in their everyday lives. His work centres around the idea that true wellness is about more than simply surviving or managing symptoms. It is about creating the foundations for a life that feels vibrant, connected, and sustainable, mentally, physically, and beyond. Through personalised coaching, Adi supports people in developing sustainable movement and nutrition habits, understanding their body's signals, and cultivating greater agency in their health journey. ✨ Instagram: @tiger.eats.steak Connect with Venusian Womb 🌹 Website: https://www.venusianwomb.com

Men's Mental Health and the Importance of Men's Work with Mikey

What if some of the disconnect between men and women comes from trying to support one another in ways that do not actually meet what the other person needs? In this episode of the Venusian Womb Podcast, we sit down with men’s mental health and personal growth advocate Mikey Wilson to talk about masculinity, femininity, nervous system regulation, emotional expression, and how we can understand one another more deeply. Together, we explore the pressure many men experience to achieve, provide, and prove their worth, and what happens when there is little space to slow down, regulate, or connect with what is happening beneath the surface. Mikey shares how men’s work, brotherhood, breathwork, movement, and other embodied practices can offer pathways into emotional awareness and regulation. We also explore masculine and feminine energy as qualities that live within all of us, and how the balance between doing and being, structure and receptivity, expression and containment can shape the way we relate to ourselves and one another. From brotherhood and vulnerability to romantic relationships, emotional responsibility, and the difference between supporting someone and trying to fix them, this conversation invites us to become more curious about what men and women actually need in order to feel seen, supported, and connected. Ultimately, this episode asks us to move beyond assumptions about how the other should feel, communicate, or heal, and instead begin listening to one another with greater compassion, discernment, and openness. How to Understand Your Dreams: Dream Work, Self-Trust & Inner Knowing with Natasha

What if your dreams are not just random stories your brain creates while you sleep, but a space where you can explore your inner world, access creativity, process experience, and deepen your relationship with yourself? In this episode of the Venusian Womb Podcast, we enter the world of dreams with dream worker and facilitator Natasha, exploring what becomes possible when we begin to approach our dreams with curiosity rather than immediately trying to decode or interpret them. Natasha shares how dreams have been part of her life since childhood, and how her relationship with dreaming has evolved through lucid dreaming, dream journaling, synchronicities, somatic experiences, and intentional dream work. Together, we explore how simply remembering and recording your dreams can begin to create a relationship with your dreaming self. We talk about moving beyond the idea that every dream needs a fixed interpretation, and instead learning to pay attention to the emotions, sensations, images, and questions that arise. We also explore the body as a doorway into dream meaning. What happens when a dream leaves you with a physical sensation that stays with you after waking? How might your body offer information that your conscious mind cannot immediately access? From recurring dreams and nightmares to dream incubation, lucid dreaming, and collective dreaming, this conversation invites us to reconsider what dreams can offer us. Rather than seeing dreams as something that simply happens to us, we explore what it might look like to develop an intentional relationship with the dreaming realm while maintaining our own discernment and autonomy. Ultimately, this episode is an invitation to become curious about your own dreams. To keep a notebook beside your bed. To notice what your body remembers. To bring questions into the dream space. And to discover what happens when you begin listening to the inner world with a little more attention. How to Reconnect with Your Ancestral Roots (Without Losing Yourself) with Jenn

What happens when you've inherited a lineage, but not the stories that tell you who you are? Many of us carry a quiet longing to understand where we come from. Whether through migration, colonization, cultural assimilation, or generations of survival, our connection to ancestry can feel fragmented, leaving us searching for belonging, identity, and meaning in a world that often encourages us to look everywhere but within. In this episode of the Venusian Womb Podcast, we sit down with Jennifer, co-founder of Sisterhood of Mū, for a deeply nuanced conversation about ancestral remembrance, cultural and spiritual colonization, embodied discernment, and what it means to live in right relationship with ourselves, one another, and the Earth. Together, we explore how historical and generational experiences shape our identities, why reconnecting with our lineage is about more than taking a DNA test, and how curiosity can become a bridge back to our own authenticity. We also reflect on the importance of honouring the origins of the practices we engage with, questioning where our rituals come from, and cultivating integrity as we navigate spirituality, creativity, and personal growth. As the conversation unfolds, we examine the tension between modern technology and ancestral ways of living, the growing reliance on external sources for answers, and the practice of returning to our bodies as a place of discernment. Rather than offering simple solutions, this episode invites us to slow down, embrace complexity, and remember that self-trust is cultivated through relationship, presence, and lived experience. Whether you've been feeling disconnected from your roots, questioning your relationship with spirituality, exploring your cultural heritage, or learning to trust your own intuition, this conversation offers space for reflection without demanding certainty. Ultimately, this episode asks a simple but profound question: What kind of ancestor do you hope to become? May this conversation inspire you to explore your own lineage with humility, deepen your relationship with your body, and remember that authenticity is not something we discover once, but something we continually cultivate throughout our lives. Menopause as a Rite of Passage, Reclaiming the Wisdom of the Crone with Jessie

The stories we've inherited about menopause tell us it's the beginning of decline. But what if it's actually the beginning of one of the most powerful initiations of a woman's life? In this deeply moving conversation, we sit down with Jessie, founder of Lotus and Moon and Beyond Blood, former nurse, poet, and guide for women's rites of passage, to explore menopause as a sacred threshold rather than a medical problem to solve. Together, we unpack how our culture's fear of aging has disconnected women from one of the richest sources of feminine wisdom, and what becomes possible when we begin listening to our bodies instead of trying to control them. Jessie shares her personal journey from decades working within the medical system to discovering an embodied approach to healing rooted in curiosity, grief, tenderness, and self-trust. Through stories of lineage, ancestral guidance, loss, creativity, and becoming, she invites us to see menopause not as an ending, but as an invitation into greater freedom, expression, and authenticity. Throughout the conversation, we explore how shame lives in the body, why grief is an essential part of every rite of passage, and how discernment allows us to move beyond judgment and reconnect with our inner authority. Together, we reflect on the wisdom carried by our elders, the importance of witnessing women through life's transitions, and the creative power that emerges when we soften into the intelligence of the body. Whether you're approaching menopause, supporting someone who is, or simply navigating your own season of transformation, this episode offers a compassionate and expansive perspective on what it truly means to become. This conversation is an invitation to honour every phase of womanhood, trust your body's innate wisdom, and remember that aging is not the loss of your power, but the refinement of it.
