Get Curious. You Know Better. Now What?

What are you carrying that was never yours to begin with? In this episode of Go Be Too Much, we're talking about generational patterns, emotional regulation, anger, nervous system dysregulation, parenting, neurodivergence, self-trust, curiosity, emotional suppression, and what it actually looks like to break cycles instead of repeating them. Because sometimes the patterns we struggle with didn't start with us. Maybe anger was the only emotion that felt safe to express. Maybe your family didn't talk about hard things. Maybe keeping the peace meant sweeping everything under the rug. Maybe asking "why?" was considered disrespectful. Maybe you learned to yell because it was the only way you felt heard. And maybe nobody ever taught you another way. We talk about recognizing what we've inherited from the generations before us without using our past as an excuse to stay the same. We get into accountability, co-regulation, raising emotionally aware kids, breaking parenting patterns, neurodivergence, curiosity, challenging systems, and learning how to respond differently when everyone around you is dysregulated. Because awareness is only the beginning. At some point, we have to decide what we're going to do with what we know. You can understand why someone behaved the way they did and still decide the pattern ends with you. You can have big feelings without hurting the people around you. You can ask questions. You can challenge what you were taught. You can choose differently. And maybe breaking generational cycles isn't about becoming perfectly healed. Maybe it's about getting curious enough to ask: "Is this actually mine?" And being brave enough to put down what isn't. 🎧 Listen to this episode on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts: Click Here Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook: Click Here 🌙 Share your story or feedback: Click Here New episodes every other Tuesday. You Cannot Fail Your Own Life: You’re Allowed to Change Your Mind

What if changing your mind doesn’t mean you failed? What if it means you finally started listening to yourself? In this episode of Go Be Too Much, we’re talking about identity, failure, self-awareness, societal expectations, people pleasing, self-trust, authenticity, fear of change, and giving yourself permission to become someone different. So many of us were handed a version of what a “successful” life is supposed to look like. Graduate. Go to college. Build a career. Get married. Have kids. Be productive. Be dependable. Pick a path and stick to it. But what happens when the life you were supposed to want doesn’t fit anymore? We talk about the pressure to stay consistent with who you’ve always been, why changing can feel threatening to the people around us, and how easy it is to confuse outgrowing something with failing at it. Because maybe you didn’t fail. Maybe that job served its purpose. Maybe that environment doesn’t work for you anymore. Maybe the version of you who made that decision had different information, different needs, and a completely different life. And maybe you’re allowed to make a new decision now. We also get into perfectionism, performative identities, family expectations, fear of judgment, curiosity, silence, self-sabotage, accountability, and learning to meet yourself where you actually are instead of where you think you should be. You don’t owe the world consistency at the expense of your own growth. You’re allowed to change your mind. You’re allowed to outgrow things. You’re allowed to want something different. You’re allowed to become someone you never expected to be. Because you cannot fail at becoming yourself. 🎧 Listen to this episode on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts: Click Here Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook: Click Here 🌙 Share your story or feedback: Click Here New episodes every other Tuesday. Fear Can Talk, But It Doesn't Get The Final Say

What would you do if you weren't so afraid of failing? In this episode of Go Be Too Much, we're talking about fear of failure, fear of rejection, anxiety, self-trust, nervous system regulation, perfectionism, vulnerability, uncertainty, financial security, ADHD, and what happens when fear starts making our decisions for us. Because not all fear means you're unsafe. Sometimes you're afraid because you don't know how the story ends. We talk about the difference between real danger and emotional fear, why rejection can feel so personal, how survival mode affects our ability to take risks, and why "just believe in yourself" isn't always as simple as it sounds when your basic needs, finances, or sense of security are on the line. We also unpack what failure actually means. What if the thing that didn't work wasn't proof that you failed? What if it was information? Data. Experience. Something that taught you what to change before trying again. From building a business and facing rejection to vulnerability, difficult conversations, anxiety, ADHD, nervous system dysregulation, and learning to actually feel what's happening in your body, this conversation is about becoming someone you trust even when you can't control the outcome. You don't need to know how everything ends before you begin. You don't have to eliminate fear before taking the next step. Instead of asking, "What if this goes wrong?" ask yourself: "Do I trust myself if it does?" Fear can have a voice. It just doesn't have to get the final say. 🎧 Listen to this episode on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts: Click HereFollow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook: Click Here🌙 Share your story or feedback: Click HereNew episodes every other Tuesday. Perfectionism Is Killing Your Curiosity: Done Is Better Than Perfect

Perfectionism Is Keeping You Stuck: Get Curious, Get Uncomfortable & Do It Anyway When did we stop being curious and start believing we had to get everything right? In this episode of Go Be Too Much, we're talking about perfectionism, resilience, self-trust, identity, vulnerability, emotional regulation, ADHD, letting go of control, and learning how to be uncomfortable long enough to actually grow. We unpack what it really means to be called "resilient," especially when being strong was never a choice. What happens when you've spent your entire life surviving, pushing through, and being the person everyone can count on? Are you allowed to finally put that version of yourself down? We also talk about the way perfectionism quietly steals our curiosity. As kids, we're willing to suck at things. We ask questions. We try, fail, learn, and try again. Then somewhere along the way, we learn that being wrong is embarrassing, asking questions makes us look stupid, and anything less than perfect isn't worth showing the world. So we get smaller. This conversation is about breaking that cycle. It's about imposter syndrome, people pleasing, nervous system regulation, listening to your body, learning new things as an adult, rebuilding self-trust, meeting yourself where you are, and allowing your old identity to retire instead of hating the person you used to be. You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to be perfect before you begin. Sometimes you just have to be curious enough to see what happens. Because done is better than perfect. And you have to be willing to suck before you can get good. 🎧 Listen to this episode on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts: Click HereFollow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook: Click Here🌙 Share your story or feedback: Click HereNew episodes every other Tuesday. You Don't Need Certainty, You Need Self-Trust

What if feeling safe isn't about knowing what's going to happen next? In this episode of Go Be Too Much, we're talking about self-trust, uncertainty, anxiety, boundaries, people pleasing, ADHD, overthinking, nervous system regulation, and learning how to feel safe even when you can't control the outcome. We unpack the difference between certainty and safety, why inconsistency can feel so triggering, and how curiosity can help us loosen our grip on control. We also get into saying no without guilt, overcommitting, protecting your time and energy, communicating your needs, and recognizing when you're abandoning yourself to keep everyone else comfortable. Because sometimes healing looks like saying, "No, thank you." Sometimes it's allowing someone else to misunderstand you. Sometimes it's doing one small thing you promised yourself you'd do. And sometimes it's accepting that you can't know exactly what happens next and trusting that you'll be able to handle it anyway. If you struggle with anxiety, people pleasing, perfectionism, ADHD, fear of uncertainty, setting boundaries, or constantly trying to control what happens next, this conversation is for you. You don't need certainty to feel safe. You need to know that whatever happens, you've got you. 🎧 Listen to this episode on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts: Click HereFollow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook: Click Here🌙 Share your story or feedback: Click HereNew episodes every other Tuesday.
