    Welcome To The YOU Movement

The one where I share the story behind The YOU Movement, and the truth about what it really takes to trust yourself and follow what you feel called toward. In this episode, I take you through the journey from my 15 years in education into building my own business, and the internal shifts that came with stepping out of a system and into self leadership. I share how it began with a quiet inner pull, trialling workshops with my senior students, and noticing the impact it was having, before navigating the discomfort of backing myself, rebuilding my sense of worth, and learning how to trust my own voice. This episode also explores the evolution from The Mindset Collective into something deeper. Moving beyond mindset alone and into understanding the full self through mind, body and heart. The work of not just thinking differently, but actually knowing yourself, feeling safe within yourself, and learning how to follow the wisdom of your heart. I speak honestly about outgrowing what once felt right, the fear that comes with making big changes, and the cost of staying where something no longer fits. Including a personal reflection on being in a long term relationship where I stayed longer than I should have, and what that taught me about self worth. We also move into the in-between space. The phase where you’re not who you were, but you’re not quite sure who you’re becoming yet. And why this space, as uncomfortable as it can be, is actually where self trust is built. This is not about having it all figured out. It’s about being willing to listen to yourself and take the next step. The YOU Movement is a space for self discovery, self leadership, and understanding that your unique essence is enough. If something in your life is shifting, if you feel that quiet pull toward something more, this episode is your invitation to start listening. How Emotional Regulation Changed My Life feat. Elizabeth from Vibrant Self Co

The one where emotional regulation becomes the turning point. In this episode of MindKind: The Podcast, I sit down with Elizabeth from Vibrant Self Co for a deeply honest and grounding conversation about what it really looks like to move through emotional overwhelm and come back to yourself. Elizabeth shares her experience of working in a high-pressure graphic design environment where everything felt urgent, emotional, and demanding. Over time, she began to recognise herself as what she describes as an “emotional sponge,” absorbing the energy and emotions of everyone around her, often at the expense of her own wellbeing. The catalyst came when her nervous system completely shut down. After years of pushing, holding, and suppressing what she was feeling, her body reached a point where it simply couldn’t keep up. What followed was a powerful shift. For the first time, Elizabeth made the decision to take responsibility for supporting herself. To slow down. To listen. To begin meeting her emotions, her body, and her needs in a completely different way. This conversation explores what emotional regulation can actually look like in real life. Not as something perfect or controlled, but as something we learn, practise, and return to again and again. We speak about: What it means to be highly sensitive in a fast-paced worldThe impact of emotional suppression on the body and nervous systemNavigating postpartum emotions and the mental load of motherhoodLearning to create boundaries and honour your capacityElizabeth’s transition into Reiki and supporting others through emotional healingThis episode is a reminder that change doesn’t always come from having it all figured out. Sometimes it begins when your body asks you to stop… and you choose to finally listen. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or like you’re holding more than you know what to do with, this conversation will resonate deeply. 🤍 Connect with Elizabeth Instagram: @vibrant.self.co 🌿 Connect with Liz Instagram: @themindsetco__Website: The Mindset Collective The Essence of You: https://www.themindsetco.com.au/the-essence-of-you Individual Coaching: https://www.themindsetco.com.au/coaching

From External Validation to Inner Knowing feat. Nicole Sirois

The one where we explore what it really looks like to come home to yourself. What happens when the life you’ve built looks good on the outside, but doesn’t feel right on the inside? In this conversation, Nicole shares her journey from studying law and following a path that made sense, to completely redefining how she lives, works, and understands herself. Her early years were shaped by expectations, doing what she thought she should do and chasing a version of success that looked right on paper, yet without a strong sense of who she was underneath it all. And when that foundation isn’t there, it’s so easy to start looking outward for it. Nicole speaks openly about a season of seeking validation through experiences, relationships, partying, and pushing limits, trying to find something outside of herself that would finally feel like enough. Her life then took a dramatic turn when she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare autoimmune condition that left her paralysed for months. While this moment brought everything to a pause, the deeper shift didn’t happen straight away. It was later, through a relationship and a strong desire to prove herself to someone else, that she began to recognise the pattern and realised the work had to start within her. From there, things began to unfold in a completely different way. Nicole shares how she became deeply focused on healing, learning to rewire her thoughts, reconnect with her body through somatic movement, and tune into herself in a way she never had before. What she’s come to understand now is something that feels really important… that life doesn’t have to be so complicated. There isn’t always a need for a 20 step process to find your purpose. Clarity and direction aren’t something you chase, they’re something you access when you slow down, listen, and reconnect with the wisdom of your own heart. She’s now stepped into work that genuinely lights her up through psychic mediumship and energetic healing, supporting others on their own path of self-discovery and connection. This conversation is honest, reflective, and a reminder that no matter how far you feel from yourself, you can always come back. Living In Your Mind vs. Living In Your Body

The one where we explore the difference between overthinking, body wisdom, fear, and intuition. If you’ve ever felt stuck in your head, replaying conversations, overanalysing decisions, struggling to switch off, or not knowing whether what you’re feeling is fear or your intuition… this episode is for you. In this conversation, I’m unpacking what it really means to live in your head versus being connected to your body, and why so many of us have learnt to trust our thoughts more than ourselves. I share my own experience of having a very active mind, especially as an ADHD woman, and we explore: why so many of our thoughts are learned patterns, not conscious truths how the brain is wired for familiarity, not always accuracy the difference between a thought, a body reaction, and intuition how fear can feel loud, urgent, and convincing why intuition often feels quieter, clearer, and more grounded how to regulate your nervous system before making decisions the power of mental rehearsal and rewiring thought patterns how to stop handing your power over to fear This episode is a reminder that your mind isn’t working against you, and your body isn’t something to override or ignore. And fear doesn’t have to be the thing that leads. There is another way to move through your life. With more awareness of what’s actually happening within you, more trust in yourself, more connection to your body and your truth, and a deeper sense of power in how you choose to show up.
