    Snake on a Plane

Back to the familiar format of a letter from a listener - and this one is another all to common theme. This week, we hear from Helen. Helen's story has a bit of everything: financial isolation, the slow unravelling of a long marriage, infidelity, divorce, and a turn none of us saw coming. It's a story about giving yourself entirely to a life and a person, and discovering how little of it was ever really yours. About the particular cruelty of being deceived by someone whose kindness you fell for. And about what happens when the life you thought you were grieving takes one final, shocking turn. But more than any of that, it's a story about meeting yourself again. About a woman who lost almost everything she thought defined her, and found, on the other side of it, something quieter and steadier and entirely her own. If you're rebuilding from a place you never expected to be, this one's for you. As we always say, if you're having relationship problems, going through a relationship breakup or experiencing heartbreak, then know this: we are with you. Because you can and will survive, heal and thrive. Everyone who appears on our podcast can take positive steps forward, and so can you. Listen to the audio version on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, and anywhere you get your podcasts. Watch the full episodes on YouTube, too. S3 Episode 2 - Redirecting Rob

Today we have a really interesting letter - Rob is at a point in his relationship that we don't usually get to see: he's at a decision point. His marriage is stable and he loves his wife but he feels that the spark has gone and he is experiencing some of that electricity with a work colleague. At this moment it's all in his head but he is aware that he's about to step into a world of pain if he makes the wrong choice. Can he redirect that focus and choose his marriage, wholeheartedly and forever, or is the pull of a fresh and exciting new relationship too strong. Harry gives his straight talking and practical advice - just as Rob asked! We've also got some listener/follower questions and if they resonate with you, Harry's responses may give you a little insight into why you feel, react or ruminate in the ways that you do. As we always say, if you're having relationship problems, going through a relationship breakup or experiencing heartbreak, then know this: we are with you. Because you can and will survive, heal and thrive. Everyone who appears on our podcast can take positive steps forward, and so can you. S3 Episode 1 - The Do-Over

We're back! Back to the familiar format of a letter from a listener - and this one is such a common theme: why do we give sympathy and care to those who hurt us the most! Anisha wrote in with details of a break up we all can understand: her husband left her for a woman he met at work. She dealt with the fallout from this and helped her three children come to terms with their new life, steering them through the upset and hurt. She watched as he created a new family with his new partner. Then when it fell apart, he reached to her for support and.......well, listen to find out! It's fascinating to explore why we feel able to feel compassion for those who have hurt us the most, to try to understand behaviour that leads to betrayal and ultimately, the consequences of not being emotionally strong when life calls for it. As we always say, if you're having relationship problems, going through a relationship breakup or experiencing heartbreak, then know this: we are with you. Because you can and will survive, heal and thrive. Everyone who appears on our podcast can take positive steps forward, and so can you.
