Election Night review, observations with Ted Remsnyder

Community Journalism Fund reporter Ted Remsnyder is immersed in politics throughout the Capital Region for the Daily Gazette Family of Newspapers and Nov. 3 is his Christmas. Half of the politicians running for office didn't get the outcome they wanted, but the entire staff, along with Ted, brought you views, reviews and results from across our entire coverage area. Ted and I spent the evening at Sticker Mule headquarters in Amsterdam for the Anthony Constantino results party and the NY-21 congressional district results.  At 11 p.m., Constantino declared victory and then launched into one of the most interesting victory speeches on record, with the media taking the brunt of a flurry of rage and vulgarity. View the video on the Daily Gazette YouTube channel We talked about the experience, other results and what's next on the political landscape. SLOC Centenial kick-off with Jekyll and Hyde

An experiment gone wrong, but everything went perfectly, well, almost, as Stan and Friends returned to the podcast studio to welcome first-time SLOC show director Jake Goodman and SLCO centennial chairperson Heather-Liz Copps to talk about the 100th season of Schenectady Light Opera Company. The two actors, directors, and very talented individuals had a moment before the 100th season premiere to talk about theater, the process, the joy and challenges in performing, while Stan sat there in awe... all well before the proverbial curtain was raised.  My two guests are not to be missed, as is this year's premiere show, Jekyll & Hyde.
