    Lukewarm Faith, Truth & 1 John

    “Lukewarm Christianity has become so normalized that biblical Christianity seems extreme.” What happens when compromise becomes normal and simple obedience to Jesus starts looking radical? In this short solo episode, Pastor Rob goes deeper into a challenge found throughout 1 John 1:1–2:2: our standard for Christianity can’t be the culture around us, or even what other Christians have accepted. Our standard is Jesus, and our authority is Scripture. We talk about the difference between struggling with sin and becoming comfortable with it, how easily we rename things Scripture wants to confront, and why walking in the light isn’t about pretending to be perfect. Walking in the light doesn’t mean living without sin. It means living without pretending. This isn’t a call to legalism or simply “trying harder.” It’s an invitation to honest confession, real surrender, and confidence in the grace of Jesus Christ, our Advocate.
