I Was A Latin King And A Blood: My Life Of Gangs And Prison

Rob—known as King Kiko in New Jersey and Cuban Rob in Florida—joins Jason for a brutally honest conversation about gang life, drug dealing, addiction, violence, betrayal, and the prison economy. After losing his father to suicide at 14 and being forced out of his home as a teenager, Rob went looking for the family and protection he was missing. That search led him into the Latin Kings, where his first major mission ended with several members abandoning him during a fight and leaving his child’s mother to bail him out of jail. After moving to Florida, Rob became involved with the Bloods, built a cocaine and crack operation, and began establishing his reputation in Palm Coast. He recounts deliberately fronting two pounds of marijuana to a man he expected would refuse to pay—giving Rob the confrontation he wanted—and what happened when he confronted and shot him. Rob also breaks down the investigation that eventually developed into a Florida RICO case after a home invasion ended in death, a member of the group began cooperating, and the U.S. Marshals captured him in New Jersey. Inside Florida State Prison, Rob says he turned the same instincts he used in the streets toward controlling the prison economy. He describes running cigarettes, gambling, loan sharking and contraband, recruiting correctional officers into his operation, and being transferred from compound to compound because prison officials believed he could organize and take control of a yard within a year. The conversation also explores: • Losing his father to suicide and entering the streets at a young age • The Latin Kings’ recruitment and initiation process • Why gang loyalty disappeared when Rob needed it most • New York and New Jersey’s cocaine and crack trade • Becoming a Blood after moving to Palm Coast, Florida • The shooting Rob says established his street reputation • The home invasion and death that helped create a RICO case • Cooperating witnesses, police pressure and self-preservation • Cocaine, opioids, addiction and Rob’s decision to leave the life • Cell phones, cigarettes, gambling and loan sharking in prison • Correctional officers allegedly bringing contraband into Florida prisons • Why Rob says money—not violence—gave him control of the compound • The reality behind exaggerated prison stories on social media • Whether loyalty or honor can truly exist in the criminal world This is not a polished kingpin story. It is a firsthand account of the smaller, dirtier side of the streets—where loyalty is temporary, violence becomes currency, addiction catches the dealer, and nearly every decision eventually carries a price. 🛒 Dope Boy Empire Merch: https://www.dbeapparel.com 🔗 CONNECT WITH 10 TOES PODCAST 👉 Jason on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/8upjay 👉 Jason on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@8upjay 🔗 CONNECT WITH ROB 👉 Rob On Instagram https://www.instagram.com/rbravo0713/ 👉 Rob on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/roberto.bravo.212826 👉 Rob on Tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/@user27213740001478 Join 10 Toes After Dark Patreon exclusive content 👉 www.patreon.com/cw/10toespodcast #FloridaPrison #GangLife #10ToesPodcast

Scott Anthony Calls Out the Flores Twins | El Chapo, Snitching & Cartel Truths

Scott Anthony returns to 10 Toes Podcast for a raw, unfiltered conversation about the Flores twins, El Chapo, El Mayo Zambada, federal informants, cartel politics, and the reality behind street loyalty. After Jason’s interview with the Flores twins sparked backlash online, Scott and Jason explain how the dispute began, question parts of the twins’ public story, and debate what cooperation with the federal government means once someone returns to the public eye.Scott also recounts the $700,000 counterfeit-money incident that put federal agents on his trail, recognizing when a childhood friend was surrounded by law enforcement, living as a fugitive, and eventually realizing that there is no lasting honor in the criminal world.Jason shares how he fought two federal cases, beat one at trial, received a 15-year sentence in the other, and ultimately came home through COVID-era home confinement before receiving clemency. Together, they discuss cooperating witnesses, federal prosecutors, expensive defense attorneys, public defenders, and the decisions defendants face when the government controls the evidence and the potential sentence. The conversation also explores:• The Flores twins’ cooperation against El Chapo• El Mayo Zambada and the Sinaloa Cartel• Alleged hidden drug money and the cases against the twins’ wives• Why cartel connections do not necessarily make someone a gangster• Government informants and federal cooperation agreements• The difference between street reputation and criminal reality• Organized crime and corruption in Mexico• Public defenders versus private defense attorneys• Why crime stories receive more attention than redemption• Scott’s transformation from street life to author, businessman, husband, and fatherThis episode does not glorify crime.
