    S4E5 — Two Things Can Be True

    Two things can be true at the same time. You can love God and still be disobedient. God can love you and still allow you to face the consequences of your choices. You can know you need God and still find yourself running from Him. In this episode of PIMP Talks, we’re talking about the truths that can exist in the same space without one canceling out the other. The Bible gives us example after example of people who loved God, struggled, disobeyed, doubted, ran, and still had to face the truth about where they were. God’s love doesn’t make our disobedience okay, and our mistakes don’t mean we don’t love God. Sometimes we have to be honest enough to acknowledge both truths and then decide what we’re going to do with what God has shown us.     S4 E4 Wisdom & Discernment Without Condemnation

    There’s a difference between using wisdom and discernment and sitting in judgment of somebody. As believers, we are called to recognize what is right, pay attention to what God is showing us, and make wise decisions—but that does not give us permission to condemn people. In this episode of PIMP Talks, we’re having an honest conversation about learning to discern without becoming judgmental, recognizing what something is without deciding who someone is, and understanding that wisdom can tell you when something isn’t right without requiring you to tear another person down.     S4E3: When God Says Be Quiet | P.I.M.P. My Life™ Podcast

    What if God telling you to be quiet doesn’t mean never—it means not yet? In this episode of P.I.M.P. Talks, I’m sharing what God has been showing me about silence: silence around people, silence about what He’s doing in my life, and even silence in prayer. I’ve been an oversharer. When something good happens, I want to share it because I’ve always believed, if I can do it, so can you. But I’m learning that good intentions don’t always mean it’s time to speak. Sometimes, for our peace, protection, and purpose, God tells us to be quiet. And sometimes He even asks us to stop talking in prayer. No rambling. No list of problems. No complaining, comparisons, or conflict. Just sitting in His presence, opening our hearts and souls, and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak, correct, refresh, and reveal. When was the last time you stopped talking about the issues, the people, the things, and the tasks—and simply let God envelop you? Sometimes prayer is silent tears, gentle nods, and being wrapped in His presence. Sometimes we need to stop doing and simply be. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” — Isaiah 55:8 KJV Family, when God says be quiet, trust that there is purpose in the silence.
