    Power of Testimony (Pt.1)

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & Jesus In-Between. This is one of the most personal and vulnerable conversations we’ve ever shared. In this special two-part testimony series, we open up about the moments that shaped our lives, the valleys we walked through, the struggles we faced, and the incredible faithfulness of Jesus through it all. There is so much power in testimony within the Body of Christ. Every time we share our story, we are reminded of where God has brought us from, how He carried us when we couldn’t walk on our own, and how His hand was present even in the moments we didn’t recognize at the time. Sometimes, looking back reveals just how much God was working behind the scenes. What once felt like pain, confusion, or brokenness becomes evidence of His grace, mercy, and perfect plan. Part One begins with Christina’s testimony. This is a story of redemption, restoration, and the relentless love of Jesus. From a place of believing she was unworthy of God’s love, to discovering a Savior who pursued her relentlessly, this testimony is a powerful reminder that no one is too far gone for God’s grace. Jesus met her in the darkest places, rescued her, transformed her life, and continues to reveal His faithfulness every step of the way. Our prayer is that as you listen, you would be encouraged in your own walk with Christ. Whether you’re in a season of joy, uncertainty, waiting, or hardship, we hope this testimony reminds you that God sees you, loves you, and is working in ways you may not yet understand. No matter your past, no matter your mistakes, no matter how far you’ve wandered, Jesus is still in the business of saving, healing, restoring, and making all things new. Thank you for being here and for allowing us to share these deeply personal parts of our journey. We pray this conversation strengthens your faith, points you closer to Jesus, and reminds you that every testimony is ultimately a story of God’s faithfulness. “Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul.” — Psalm 66:16

    Hypocrisy in the Church

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & Jesus In-Between. Today’s episode is one of the most raw, honest, and important conversations we’ve had on this podcast. We sit down with Pastor Steve to talk about his powerful book on hypocrisy in the church; a book inspired by his own life, experiences, and years serving as a pastor inside a deeply religious environment. This episode dives into the difference between religion and true relationship with Jesus. We talk about: • church hypocrisy and spiritual performance • works vs genuine faith • legalism inside the church • how religious environments can wound believers • why so many people struggle silently in churches • the pressure to “look holy” instead of being transformed by Christ • judgment, pride, manipulation, and false appearances • how hypocrisy affects new believers and pushes people away from God • the danger of knowing Scripture without actually knowing Jesus • healing, repentance, grace, and authentic faith Pastor Steve shares personal experiences from ministry and opens up about the realities many Christians are afraid to speak about publicly. This conversation is not about attacking the Church; it’s about exposing the damage that happens when people replace intimacy with Jesus for performance, tradition, status, or appearances. Far too many believers have been hurt by religious systems, judged by people who claimed to represent Christ, or made to feel like they had to earn God’s love through works. But the Gospel was never about pretending to be perfect. Salvation is not earned through performance. True faith produces fruit, but our relationship with Jesus must come before everything else. This episode is for: • believers who have been hurt by church hypocrisy • people struggling with legalism • Christians trying to understand grace and genuine faith • those who feel distant from God because of religious trauma • anyone searching for truth beyond appearances Our prayer is that this conversation reminds people that Jesus is still good even when people fail. Humans will disappoint us, but Christ never will. Real faith is not about putting on a mask for others; it’s about surrendering your heart fully to God. Jesus over religion. Relationship over performance. Grace over hypocrisy.

    We Were On A Break

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & Jesus In-Between. It’s been a while since we uploaded an episode, and honestly… so much has happened behind the scenes. We know many of you have been wondering where we’ve been, why things suddenly got quiet, and what this season of life has looked like for us. In today’s episode, we’re finally opening up and sharing everything. Over the break, we faced challenges we never expected. There were moments of uncertainty, exhaustion, heartbreak, growth, prayer, healing, and a lot of hard conversations. Sometimes life forces you to slow down, step away, and reevaluate everything — your purpose, your priorities, your faith, and even yourself. That’s exactly what this season became for us. But through every difficult moment, one thing remained constant: Jesus. There were days when we felt overwhelmed and didn’t know what the next step would look like, but God continued to carry us even when we felt weak. This break reminded us that no platform, schedule, achievement, or plan matters more than staying connected to Him. We truly couldn’t have made it through this season without Jesus walking beside us every step of the way. If you’ve ever gone through a season where life felt heavy, confusing, lonely, or uncertain, we hope this episode reminds you that you are never alone. God doesn’t disappear when things get difficult. Sometimes He does His greatest work in the quiet seasons — the seasons nobody else sees. In today’s episode, we talk about:
• Why we stepped away from the podcast
• What we’ve been dealing with behind the scenes • The lessons God taught us during the break
• How our faith was tested and strengthened
• What’s next for the podcast and this new season
• Encouragement for anyone currently going through a hard time We also want to thank every single person who continued supporting us during our absence. Whether you sent messages, checked in, prayed for us, or simply waited patiently for our return; thank you. Your love and support mean more than you know. This comeback isn’t just about returning to podcasting. It’s about returning with deeper faith, renewed purpose, and a stronger understanding that God can bring you through absolutely anything. No matter how messy life gets, Jesus is still faithful. He is still present. He is still our peace in the middle of chaos. And remember:
No matter what you’ve been through, no matter how far you feel from God, and no matter how difficult life becomes — Jesus is always there for you. He never leaves us, even in the hardest seasons. We’re so grateful to be back. Thank you for being here with us!!

    Power of the Tongue

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & Jesus In-Between. In today’s conversation, we are beyond blessed to be joined by a beautiful faith-filled power couple, Max & Cindy, whose lives and testimony reflect what it truly means to walk in alignment with God’s will. This episode is filled with wisdom, honesty, laughter, and deep revelation as we unpack the true power of the tongue and the responsibility we carry in the words we speak. Together, we dive into their incredible journey of waiting on God’s perfect timing — a season that many of us struggle with, yet one that produces such beautiful fruit when surrendered fully to Him. Max & Cindy open up about what it looked like to trust God in the waiting, how He shaped their hearts individually, and how obedience led them into the relationship and family they now cherish. We also get real and practical about communication within marriage — how to speak to one another as husband and wife in a way that brings life instead of destruction. Words carry weight, and in a covenant relationship, they have the power to either build a home filled with peace or tear it down. This episode is a reminder that love is not just shown through actions, but also through intentional, grace-filled speech. Beyond marriage, we explore how they are raising their children with the same foundation — teaching them the importance of speaking life, truth, and identity over themselves and others. In a world that is constantly trying to define who we are, the words spoken within the home matter more than ever. One of the most eye-opening parts of this episode is the conversation around the difference between worldly “manifestation” and truly using your tongue for God’s glory. While the world teaches us to “speak things into existence” rooted in self, this episode brings clarity to what it means to align our words with God’s will, His promises, and His truth. It’s not about controlling outcomes — it’s about surrendering our speech to the One who already holds it all. We also touch on how faith plays a crucial role in everything we speak. Do we truly believe the words we declare? Are we speaking מתוך fear or מתוך faith? Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and when our faith is anchored in Christ, our words begin to reflect heaven rather than our circumstances. This episode is for anyone who: – Is navigating a season of waiting – Desires a Christ-centered relationship or marriage – Wants to grow in the way they communicate with their spouse or children – Is seeking truth about manifestation vs. biblical declaration – Longs to align their words with God’s heart Our prayer is that this conversation encourages you, challenges you, and reminds you that your words matter more than you think. When surrendered to God, your voice becomes a vessel of life, healing, and truth.

    Spirit of Religion

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & Jesus In-Between. In this episode, we dive deep into a topic that affects far more believers than we often realize: religious spirits and how they subtly corrupt the minds and hearts of those who are genuinely seeking a close and intimate relationship with Jesus. Many believers desire intimacy with Christ, yet find themselves feeling constantly condemned, never “doing enough,” and trapped in a works-based relationship rather than a life-giving friendship with Him. In this conversation, we unpack how religious spirits operate within the church, how they disguise themselves as “holiness” or “discipline,” and how they ultimately distort the true heart of the Gospel. We talk openly about how religious spirits are often passed down through generations within the body of Christ—through traditions, teachings, and church cultures that prioritize performance over presence, rules over relationship, and fear over freedom. These spirits can quietly shape how believers see God, themselves, and others, leaving many feeling burdened, anxious, and spiritually exhausted instead of free and loved. In this episode, we also share our personal revelations and testimonies—how religious spirits had attached themselves to us without us even realizing it. We speak honestly about the mindsets we carried, the pressure we felt to “earn” God’s approval, and the moment Jesus lovingly opened our eyes to the truth. Through His grace, He revealed where these spirits come from, how they operate, and why they thrive in environments rooted in control, pride, and legalism. Most importantly, we discuss how to overcome religious spirits—not through striving harder, but through surrender, humility, repentance, and a deeper understanding of who Jesus truly is. We talk about the freedom that comes when condemnation is broken, when the veil is lifted, and when believers step into a relationship with Jesus that is rooted in love, intimacy, and truth rather than fear and obligation. If you’ve ever felt like: * You’re never doing enough for God * Your relationship with Jesus feels heavy instead of joyful * You live under constant guilt or spiritual pressure * You struggle to rest in God’s love This episode is for you. Our prayer is that this conversation brings clarity, healing, and freedom, and that it helps break cycles of religious bondage that have existed in the church for far too long. Jesus didn’t come to place burdens on us—He came to set us free. Watch now, and join us as we expose religious spirits, uncover the truth of the Gospel, and step into the freedom of a real, intimate friendship with Jesus.

    Seasons with The Lord

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & Jesus In-Between. Life is made up of seasons — some beautiful, some painful, some confusing, and some deeply refining. In today’s episode, we talk about what it truly means to walk through every season of life with the Lord by our side. No matter where you find yourself right now — a season of joy or a season of grief, a season of strong faith or spiritual dryness, a season of womanhood, isolation, compassion, waiting, healing, or rest — Jesus is there. He has never left you, and He never will. There are moments when the seasons change so quickly that we barely have time to catch our breath. Other times, a season feels like it’s lasting far longer than we expected. But through it all, God remains the same. Steady. Faithful. Loving. Gentle. Full of grace and mercy. In this episode, we reflect on how God doesn’t abandon us in our hardest moments. He doesn’t watch from a distance — He walks with us, carries us, and guides us through every valley and every mountaintop. Even when we don’t understand the “why,” He promises to reveal the purpose behind the season in His perfect timing. Seasons may change, but our God does not. He is faithful in the joy. He is close in the grief. He is patient in the waiting. He is present in the silence. He is kind in the refining. Wherever you are in your walk with the Lord, this episode is a reminder that you are not alone. God is with you in this season — and He will be with you in the next. Press play, lean in, and be encouraged. Let this episode be a gentle reminder that the same God who brought you through past seasons will carry you through this one too. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ~ Hebrews 13:8

    A Wrap On Season One

From the very beginning, this podcast has been about creating a space where Jesus is glorified, the Holy Spirit is welcomed, and faith-filled conversations can take root; and you've been part of that every step of the way. When this podcast first began, it was simply a yes to God; a step of faith, trusting that Jesus would meet us here and the Holy Spirit would guide every conversation. Looking back now, we're completely moved by how faithfully He has done exactly that. To everyone who has journeyed with us this season; thank you!! Thank you for listening with open hearts. Thank you for sharing episodes with friends who needed encouragement. Thank you for the messages, the prayers, the quiet moments where you let God speak to you through this space. You may not realize it, but your support has been such a confirmation that this work matters, that it's touching lives, and that God is in it. Your support has been such a blessing, and we don't take it lightly. And to every guest who came on this season; thank you for saying "yes," for bringing the Word, for sharing your story, and for letting the Holy Spirit speak through you. Each of you carried something unique, and together you helped make this season rich, powerful, and deeply encouraging. Thank you for showing up with humility, with honesty, and with the Word God placed on your heart. Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to move through you. Every testimony, every revelation, every moment of vulnerability added something sacred to this season. You helped create something eternal; something that will keep planting seeds long after the episodes fade into the background. This journey has never been about perfection; it has always been about obedience. And looking back, we’re amazed at how God has shown up, guided conversations, opened hearts, and reminded us again and again of His goodness. It wasn't perfect, but it was purposeful. It wasn't polished, but it was obedient. And to us, that's what ministry really looks like; ordinary people showing up and letting God do the extraordinary. Season Two is already stirring in our spirit, and we can't wait to see what the Lord has in store. If this is what God did in the beginning, we can only imagine what He's going to unfold next. But before we run ahead, we just want to stay here for a moment; grateful!!! Grateful for what God has done. Grateful for every person who's been part of this journey. Grateful for a community that loves jesus and hungers for His presence. From our heart to yours; thank you!!! Thank you for listening. Thank you for believing. Thank you for showing up!!! Here's to Jesus; who has been the centre of it all - and to the Holy Spirit, who continues to lead every step. We can't wait to continue this beautiful journey with all of you in Season Two. Here's to everything God has done; and everything He's about to do!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our amazing listeners and viewers! We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who has supported, watched, listened, and walked alongside us this year. As we celebrate this beautiful season, we are reminded that Jesus is the reason for the season—the greatest gift of love, hope, and salvation. May His peace fill your hearts, your homes, and your lives. We pray that God blesses you abundantly in the coming year, that His presence goes before you, and that His joy and grace overflow in everything you do.
