Can the Lord's Prayer actually calm anxiety, regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and renew the mind? In this episode of Rewired for Purpose, Christian Life & Brain Coach Rosangela Atte explores the fascinating connection between neuroscience, trauma healing, emotional regulation, and the prayer Jesus taught His disciples in Matthew 6. The Paradox of Faith: Trusting God When You Can’t See the Path

There’s a tension many believers don’t talk about. You trust God.You believe His promises. But when the path ahead is unclear… something in you resists. Not because your faith is weak. But because your brain was wired to seek certainty. In this episode, we unpack the paradox of faith—the space where your spirit is ready to follow God, but your mind is asking for proof. You’ll understand: Why uncertainty feels unsafe in your body and nervous systemHow the brain interprets lack of clarity as potential dangerWhat Scripture actually reveals about walking step by step with GodHow obedience in uncertainty rewires your brain and deepens trustThrough biblical examples like Abraham, Moses, Esther, and Peter, you’ll see that God has always worked this way—inviting His people to move before they fully understand. This is not confusion. This is formation. Faith is not built in full visibility. It’s built in the willingness to take the next step when you don’t have all the answers. If you’re in a season where you feel stretched, uncertain, or even hesitant, this episode will anchor you, ground you, and remind you: You are not lost. You are being led. faith and neuroscience, trusting God in uncertainty, Christian mindset, nervous system regulation, hearing God clearly, identity in Christ, overcoming fear Christian, spiritual growth, prophetic encouragement, renewing your mind Bible #TrustGod#FaithJourney#ChristianMindset#SpiritualGrowth#theshifthercoaching

Press Through the Crowd: How Faith Activates Your Healing | Luke 8

There are moments in your life when everything around you says “stay back”…but something inside of you says “press in.” In this episode, we go deep into the story of the woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43–48) — not just as a miracle, but as a blueprint for healing, identity, and transformation through faith in Jesus. For twelve years she lived in shame, isolation, rejection, and emotional pain. She had exhausted every option, spent everything she had, and was left without hope. But one act of bold faith — one moment of pressing through the crowd — activated dunamis power, the miraculous power of God that restores spirit, soul, and body. In this episode, you’ll discover: ✨ How faith is not passive — it moves, it presses, it reaches✨ The deeper meaning of aptomai (to cling, attach, fasten yourself to Jesus)✨ How dunamis power brings healing beyond the physical — including emotional and psychological restoration✨ How Jesus calling her “Daughter” (thygater) restored her identity, belonging, and dignity✨ The connection between trauma, shame, the nervous system, and how faith rewires the brain✨ What it takes to move past fear, survival patterns, and limiting beliefs to receive healing This is more than a Bible teaching. This is a prophetic invitation. I believe God is releasing a dispensation — a divine outpouring — of healing upon His daughters. Not only to heal you…but to raise you as a woman who carries His healing power to others. Daughter of God, this is your moment to: Press past fearPress past shamePress past the lies And reach for Jesus. Because your healing is not far from you.It is waiting. YOU Have Outgrown Your Environment — God Is Expanding Your Capacity

There are seasons in life when the place that once nurtured your growth begins to feel tight, restrictive, and uncomfortable. What once felt like covering can start to feel like a ceiling. In this episode, we explore a powerful truth: sometimes the discomfort you feel is not a sign that something is wrong — it’s a sign that God is expanding your capacity. Throughout Scripture we see this pattern repeatedly. God often removes His people from familiar places in order to prepare them for greater influence and purpose. Joseph was stripped from the comfort of his father’s house before he could govern a nation.Esther was taken from obscurity and prepared in hiddenness before she could step into royal authority.Daniel was removed from his homeland and placed in Babylon, where his unwavering commitment to God shaped an entire kingdom. Expansion often comes through disruption. But the greatest barriers to growth are not always external environments. Often the real limitations exist within our inner narrative, subconscious beliefs, and survival mechanisms formed through past wounds and experiences. In this episode we explore: • Why God sometimes calls us out of environments we have outgrown• How subconscious beliefs and survival patterns form in the brain• How trauma and past experiences shape our internal narrative• The difference between an orphan mindset and a kingdom identity• How neuroscience and spiritual renewal work together to transform the mind• How obedience to God expands our influence, authority, and calling Just like Isaiah 54 instructs us to enlarge the place of our tent, God often asks us to stretch before we see the fruit. If you feel a holy frustration, a stirring that you cannot ignore, or a sense that the place you’re in no longer fits who you are becoming, this conversation will encourage you to embrace the process of growth and expansion. God is not restricting you.He is expanding your capacity. ✨ If you are ready to break the ceiling that is limiting your growth and step into the fullness of your identity and calling, I would love to walk alongside you in that journey. Low Frustration Tolerance: The Root of Self-Sabotage, Procrastination & Spiritual Stagnation

Are you really “waiting on God”… or are you avoiding discomfort? In this episode, we unpack low frustration tolerance — the hidden root behind self-sabotage, procrastination, perfectionism, and delayed obedience. Many believers aren’t stuck because they lack calling. They’re stuck because discomfort feels unbearable. When effort, uncertainty, correction, or stretching activate the nervous system, avoidance can feel safer than obedience. We explore how low frustration tolerance impacts you: • Spiritually — through hesitation and partial obedience• Mentally — through procrastination and overthinking• Emotionally — through perfectionism and fear of exposure• Physiologically — through nervous system dysregulation and stress responses With biblical examples like Moses, Jonah, and the rich young ruler, and insights from neuroscience on the amygdala, neuroplasticity, and emotional regulation, this episode will challenge you to expand your capacity instead of waiting to feel ready. Discomfort is not danger.Growth requires tolerance.Obedience builds resilience. If you’re ready to stop circling and start becoming, this conversation is for you. The Armor of God and the Nervous System: Why Standing Feels So Hard

Why do so many believers feel weary, discouraged, and tempted to abandon their post—even when they love God and want to obey Him?In this episode, we explore why survival mode, nervous system dysregulation, and deeply held beliefs about God and ourselves can make it genuinely difficult to “put on the full armor of God” daily. Drawing from Ephesians 6, neuroscience, and practical embodied wisdom, this teaching reveals that the armor of God is not just a spiritual metaphor—it is a daily practice that restores regulation, clarity, endurance, and authority. We’ll talk about:How survival mechanisms (fight, flight, freeze, fawn) interfere with spiritual disciplineWhy inner narratives rooted in shame and fear make the armor feel heavy or inaccessibleHow each piece of the armor supports both spiritual resilience and nervous system regulationWhy wearing the armor is not about striving, but about protectionPractical, daily exercises to help you intentionally “put on” the armor in a sustainable wayIf the waiting has been long, if you feel tired of standing, or if you’re quietly tempted to walk away from your assignment, this episode will help you understand what’s really happening—and how to return to your post with strength. This is a conversation about endurance, identity, and learning how to stand—not from willpower, but from being covered.
