As fear and persecution spread, those once welcomed for their magic now find themselves imprisoned, forgotten, and fighting for survival. Six months ago, a daring rescue at a place known as The Last Garden ended in tragedy, leaving one of their own behind. Now, the remaining heroes reunite beneath the solemn silence of St. Louis Cemetery, preparing to return to a place they hoped never to see again. But even the best-laid plans can unravel, and some doors are far easier to open than others. Old enemies emerge, buried wounds resurface, and the fight for freedom takes an unexpected turn.
