S2 Episode 39- Where do you live?

Where does your heart and mind truly dwell? It's not about your physical address, but about where your thoughts, desires, and priorities are rooted. In Romans 8, Paul challenges us to examine what we're living for. Are we setting our minds on the things of the flesh and allowing the world to shape our lives, or are we walking in the Spirit and experiencing the freedom that comes through Jesus Christ? One path leaves us enslaved to the flesh, while the other leads to a life shaped by the love, grace, and freedom of Christ. Join us as we dig deeper into this powerful truth and discover how a Spirit-filled life can change not only us, but also the lost and dying world around us. So, where are you dwelling?

S2 Episode 37- The Battle Within...

The Battle Within | Romans 7:14–25 Have you ever felt like you were fighting a battle within yourself? In this episode of Think About It, we dive into Romans 7:14–25 and explore Paul’s honest description of the ongoing struggle between our desire to honor God and the pull of our sinful flesh. The question is, when sin is crouching at the door, are you fighting back or giving in?

S2 Episode 36- The Purpose of the Law Pt. 2

Today, we’re putting our new studio setup to the test! Join us as we break in the new space and continue our discussion of Romans 7. What role does the Law play in the life of a believer? God’s Law hasn’t become obsolete, but for those who are in Christ Jesus, its condemnation no longer has the final word. Through Jesus, we are set free from the penalty of sin and the condemnation we deserve. But what about you? Has Jesus become your Savior? If you’re not in Christ, the Law still stands as God’s righteous standard, revealing our sin and our need for a Savior. Let’s talk about what it means to live in the freedom that only Jesus can provide!

S2 Episode 35- The Purpose of the Law

Why was the Law given in the Old Testament? And how do we know what sin truly is? In this episode, we dive into Paul’s explanation of the purpose and importance of the Law in our walk of faith. The Law is good, righteous, and holy—but it was never meant to save us. Instead, it reveals the depth of our sin and shows us just how far short we fall of God’s righteousness. The Law doesn’t make us righteous; it reveals our need for the One who does. As we see our own unrighteousness more clearly, we begin to understand just how desperately we need Jesus.

S2 Episode 34- Who is your master?

Who is truly sitting on the throne of your life? There is always someone calling the shots, directing our decisions, and shaping the way we live. The question is: Is it us, or is it Jesus? Last Sunday, we continued our journey through Romans 6 and looked at the danger of refusing to let Jesus take His rightful place as Lord of our lives. When we try to remain in control, sin continues to have influence—but when we surrender to Christ, we discover the freedom and purpose that come from following His perfect leadership. So, who is really the master of your life? Who is sitting on the throne? It may be time to bow the knee and let Jesus lead.

Last Sunday, we continued our journey through Romans by looking at Romans 6:1–4 and in this episode of Think About It, we break down what it means to die to sin, live in the new life Christ gives us, and honestly examine whether our lives reflect the transformation that comes through following Jesus.

S2 Episode 32- Only Two Ways... Pt. 2

Today, we flip to the other side of the coin from last week’s discussion. Instead of focusing on the first Adam in Genesis and how sin brought death into the world, we turn our attention to the second Adam, Jesus Christ, who came to restore what was broken and bring everything back into harmony. Through His work on the cross, and by defeating death and hell through His resurrection, Jesus secured the way to eternal life for all who place their faith in Him. The question is simple but eternal: Have you chosen to side with the second Adam, Jesus Christ?
