Kat and her husband started the franchise in May of 2023 after running a video production company until the pandemic. Her husband is a photographer and director. Kat was his executive producer and did real estate investing on the side when they started 1Heart Caregiver Services. They heard about the senior care industry, learned about 1Heart Caregiver Services, and saw the potential from the needs within their own family. Three of the original franchisees were good friends of theirs and after doing due diligence, they started the franchise. Kat shares her story, the services they offer to their clients, how they started, lessons they learned, mistakes their made, how they got their first client after starting the business, where they found their first caregiver, and inspiring stories about how they've grown their business since they started.
