Why Most People Get AI Wrong (And How to Fix It)

A second grader stood in front of her class and read a book she wrote herself. Five kids raised their hands and asked if they could buy it. A woman in her 70s handed over a folder of poetry she had carried her whole life and said, "Publish these someday." Dozens of people who thought their book would die inside them finally became authors. In this episode, Jake sits down with the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Momentum Tech, Ed Garza. Ed has spent over 20 years in digital marketing, built over 100 custom AI applications and leads a global community of 9,000 paid users and 40,000 members. But this conversation goes far beyond AI. Ed breaks down what most people get wrong, what you should never use it for, and why SEO is dead. Then he opens up about the dad who threw buckets of baseballs at him every Saturday and taught him to never give up. The catfish the size of a nine year old. The friend named Margaret who loved margaritas. The day he found his wife. And the night at 17 when a headache he had carried for years disappeared during a prayer and he felt a hand on his head that no one could see.If you are curious about AI, scared of it, or already using it and wondering if you are doing it right, this episode is for you.⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 | The Book That Would Have Died Inside You 1:00 | Dad Joke: What Do You Call a Computer That Sings? 1:27 | What Most People Get Wrong About AI 5:20 | Put On the Leverage Lens 8:38 | What Is an Agent Loop? 11:50 | Do Agents Hallucinate? 16:04 | Will AI Replace Your Job? 16:44 | How to Spot a Real AI Expert 19:11 | Who Would You Trust to Build Your Dream House? 23:22 | Can You Get Rich Quick With AI? 27:25 | Jack of All Trades vs. The Knife Block 34:27 | Why AI Agrees With You Too Much 36:31 | What You Should Never Use AI For 38:25 | Build Your Own AI Focus Group 43:59 | Yelling at ChatGPT 46:58 | An MVP in Days. The Secret to Surviving AI: It's Not What You Think | Jim Morris

We are more connected than any generation in human history. More followers. More contacts. More ways to reach each other than ever before. And we have never been lonelier. In this episode, Jake sits down with keynote speaker, CEO of Human Touch Publishing, and author of Connect or Die: How to Survive AI, Jim Morris. Jim walks into companies that are stuck and finds the thing nobody else can see. Broken trust. Missing connection. Tension underneath the numbers. Then he fixes it. One company went from $250K to $1.5M. Another from $400K to over $1M. Same businesses. What changed was connection. But this conversation goes far beyond business. Jim opens up about growing up in the house with the pool while the opioid epidemic quietly tore his family apart. The night his dad pulled a stranger from a burning car and taught him what integrity really means. Rolling change at the kitchen table to buy diapers. And the moment a two year old in a yellow sundress said five words that saved his life. What If You Never Worried Again? | Dr. Ken Rochon Podcast

We treat a smile like it's nothing. A reflex. Something you do for a photo. Dr. Ken Rochon built his entire life on the opposite idea: that a smile might be one of the most powerful things a human being has. That it can carry hope into a room that's lost it. That it can actually save a life. They call him Dr. Smiley. He's a celebrity photographer, an international keynote speaker, a publisher who has helped launch hundreds of books, and the Chief Smile Officer of the Keep Smiling Movement. But underneath all of it is something personal. He watched his mother slip away to Alzheimer's, walked away from the DJ career that had become his identity to care for her, and made her a promise on her deathbed that changed the direction of his life.In this episode, Ken shares the worry diagram that proves you never need to worry about anything again. Why kids smile 400 times an hour and adults barely manage 40. The gratitude question he asks every single morning. Worry is optional. Joy is a choice. This conversation shows you how to choose it.👉 Most people who watch my content don't subscribe to the podcast. Not because they don't want to. Because nobody asked them. So I'm asking. There's a crack in everything you think is real, and Danny Goler says if you look through it the right way, you start to see the code. Thousands of people have looked through the same crack and seen exactly what he sees. He calls it evidence that all of this is a simulation. Danny is a researcher and founder of the Code of Reality project. After an experience he couldn't explain away, he spent years trying to translate it into something science could test, and landed on an experiment anyone can see with their own eyes: a diffracted laser, a wall, and what he describes as code running behind reality. He Was Hit by a Car and Told He'd Never Run. Sixteen Years Later, This Happened

In 2010, a car hit Austin Selby on a training run. Broken bones, fractures everywhere. Doctors told him he'd never run again. Sixteen years later, he's running 566 miles across Tennessee, Memphis to the Virginia border, on his own two feet. Not for a medal. For his daughter. Austin is a 13-year college coach, a father of eight, and a follower of Christ who adopted his daughter Satie and refused to stop fighting for her when the systems meant to help her walked away. Satie is 17 and battling addiction and mental health struggles. When insurance stopped covering her care, Austin decided: if her insurance won't fight for her, he will. He opens up about coaching athletes nobody believed in, raising eight kids, the night Satie ran away in California, the reality of Skid Row, and what it means to keep showing up for someone who isn't ready to be helped yet. 👉 Subscribe for weekly conversations on purpose, discipline, and building a life that holds up. ⏱ Chapters00:00 | Told he'd never run again01:00 | Austin Selby, father of eight03:14 | Seeing potential nobody else sees09:14 | What being a dad of eight does to you17:04 | Who is Satie20:48 | When the struggle began23:11 | Treatment, relapse, and the trip to LA27:42 | The night she ran away30:58 | Skid Row and the search37:10 | What this puts the family through57:07 | Turning pain into fuel1:01:06 | The run across Tennessee1:11:44 | Live coaching with Austin1:27:00 | How to follow and support Satie1:31:28 | The one thing that made the biggest difference 👉 Support Satie: Instagram @Run4Satie (GoFundMe + podcast links in bio) 👉 Follow Jake Turner:📸 https://www.instagram.com/jakepaulturner🎧 https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/jakepaulturner🍎 https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-jake-turner-podcast/id1845876962🌐 https://www.jakepaulturner.com Disclaimer: For educational and conversational purposes only. Every Brand That Explodes Has This Pattern

He was adopted at birth, so before he could even talk, the first question of his life was already there. Where do I belong? He went looking for the answer everywhere a kid like him could. Skateboarding, hiphop, garage bands, anywhere that would have him. Then in fifth grade he picked up a camera and something clicked that he wouldn't understand for years. He wasn't just taking pictures. He was learning how to make people see something the way he saw it.In this episode, Jake sits down with John Mediana, filmmaker, creative director, founder of Executive Brand Growth, and host of Branding Beyond Business, for a wide-ranging conversation about creativity, identity, faith, and what it actually takes to build a brand that lasts. John has been the high-level creative mind behind some of the biggest names online, and he can't stand the recycled guru playbook. He's not interested in looking successful.
