A minute for - Nicole Ivory Rogan

Welcome back girlies, gays, theys & the GMAM gang! 🖤 This week we’re joined by the one and only Nicole Ivory Rogan 💅 We chat about how Nicole and Tammy became friends again after years apart, growing up in Balbriggan, childhood antics that probably should’ve stayed in the past, and what it’s like juggling a packed schedule, a relationship, and living with her Nana (who is apparently everyone’s Nana too) Of course, we end up going completely off track as we get into Botox, IV drips, TikTok drama, brand deals, chaotic content creation, why Ben and Adam refuse to be social media stars, and somehow even find ourselves feeling sorry for snails 💀 The conversation also takes a more personal turn as we talk about unlearning toxic relationship patterns, anxiety, Lexapro, pursuing an ADHD assessment, struggling with forms, needing constant stimulation, and finding routines that actually work. We chat about therapy, breathwork, spiritual healing, sleep, hormones, and the reality of trying to look after your mental health while navigating everyday life. Whether you’re listening on your commute, cleaning the house or just looking for an hour to switch off, we’re so glad you’re here. 🖤 📧 Business enquiries & listener stories: givemeaminutepod@gmail.com 🖤 Follow us on Instagram & TikTok @givemeaminutepod ⭐ If you’re loving the podcast, don’t forget to follow the show and leave us a rating on Spotify – it genuinely helps us more than you know. A minute for Tia Ennis, Afghanistan & Hangovers

Welcome back girlies, gays & the GMAM gang! 🖤 This week we’re recovering from a weekend away in Enniskillen, and safe to say… we’re feeling every bit of it. 😂 We catch you up on the post-hangover chaos, karaoke antics, birthday celebrations, Home Bargains hauls, and somehow end up discussing everything from UTIs and period pain to Prime Day purchases and why buying new cameras is somehow always controversial. We also get into our upcoming Vegas plans (and Adam’s very expensive taste), the realities of travelling with friends, sharing hotel rooms, relationship dynamics, and why everyone seems to have a nickname for their vagina. Because of course we do. 💀 The conversation takes a more serious turn as we chat about the viral story of the woman moving to Afghanistan, the freedoms many of us take for granted, and how different life can look depending on where you’re born. We also have a rant about vague-posting from hospital beds and why social media can be absolutely bizarre. As always, it’s a complete rollercoaster of random tangents, big laughs, and the kind of chats you’d only have with your best friends. Whether you’re listening on your commute, cleaning the house or rotting in bed with a hangover of your own, we’re so glad you’re here. A minute for - The hottest day of the year

Welcome back girlies, gays & the GMAM gang! 💜 This week it’s just the two of us, and let’s just say… recording in the middle of the hottest day of the year was certainly a choice 🥵 We’re absolutely melting from start to finish as we try to survive the heat, keep the dogs cool, and stop ourselves from arguing purely because our brains have turned to mush. 🫠 We chat about whether global warming is finally catching up with us, how the heat can affect your mental health (especially if you’re on medication), and Robyn opens up about experiencing dissociation. We chat about Robyn’s dog George causing absolute carnage. We tell the story of him launching himself out the window, somehow surviving to steal an entire lasagne off the kitchen counter, and generally continuing his mission to give Robyn a heart attack. We also discuss Jess’s latest TikTok Shop obsession in her quest to fix her scalp, catch you up on some exciting plans we’ve got coming up for the podcast, and, as always, somehow end up going completely off topic about twenty-seven different times. 📧 Business enquiries & listener stories: givemeaminutepod@gmail.com 💜 Follow us on Instagram & TikTok @givemeaminutepod ⭐ If you’re loving the podcast, don’t forget to follow the show and leave us a rating on Spotify – it genuinely makes such a difference and helps more people find GMAM. A minute for - Pride, Murdering birds & How much we love you all

Welcome back girlies, gays, theys & the GMAM gang 🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨🖤 This week it’s just the two of us, and honestly we wish you the best of luck trying to keep up ahahaha x We kick things off with our usual chaotic catch-up before diving into a conversation that’s really close to home as Pride Month comes to an end. Rob chats about her identity, internalised homophobia, feeling like a fraud in queer spaces, and the constant battle of learning to fully accept herself. Of course, it wouldn’t be a GMAM episode without a complete change of topic every three minutes. We get into therapy, weddings, missing our close friends, reality TV drama, self-employment, financial stress, codependent friendships, and why making friends as adults is actually so hard. We also celebrate everything that’s happened with the podcast recently, chat about the incredible community that’s forming around GMAM, and talk about the kind of guests and conversations we want to keep bringing you. And yes… somehow we also end up discussing a genuinely traumatic bird incident. 🐦😭 We are so happy you’re here 🖤 📧 Business & listener stories: givemeaminutepod@gmail.com 💅 Follow us on Instagram & TikTok @givemeaminutepod ⭐ If you’re enjoying the podcast, don’t forget to follow the show and leave us a rating on Spotify – it genuinely helps us more than you know. A minute for - Insurance fraud, Poor mental health & Girls being gay boys

Welcome back girlies 🖤 This week it’s just Robyn and Jess back on the couch, and as usual, the conversation starts somewhere sensible before quickly descending into absolute chaos 🤌 We kick things off with car trouble, tyre drama and a series of questionable decisions that may or may not have involved insurance fraud. We also get into friendship dynamics, personal boundaries, and why Jess has somehow developed the reputation of being everyone’s honorary gay best friend. We have a really honest conversation about mental health, with Robyn opening up about her experience with anxiety, medication, and the events that led to finally seeking help. We chat about recovering from a completely burnt-out nervous system, friends stepping in when things get tough, and why asking for help is sometimes the bravest thing you can do. There’s also plenty of life updates, including Robyn’s laparoscopy journey, Electric Picnic outfit dilemmas, podcast editing disasters and some very extra birthday planning. One minute we’re discussing serious life lessons and the next we’re exposing just how unhealthy our friendship might actually be. ✨ Follow us on Instagram & TikTok: @givemeaminutepod 💌 Email: givemeaminutepod@gmail.com ⭐ If you’re enjoying the podcast, don’t forget to follow the show and leave us a rating on Spotify - it helps more people discover the GMAM gang and means the world to us. A minute for - Maggie Maguire

Welcome back girlies, gays, theys & the GMAM gang 💜 This week we’re joined by the incredible Maggie -Producer Kay’s mam, for what is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and emotional conversations we’ve ever had on the podcast. Maggie opens up about her childhood growing up in an incredibly difficult home environment, navigating family addiction, poverty, neglect and trauma from a very young age. She shares what it was like caring for her younger siblings, the involvement of social services throughout her childhood, entering foster care, and the lasting impact those experiences had on her life. We talk about becoming a mother at just 16 years old, her struggles with mental health over the years, and the challenges she’s faced while trying to build a different life for herself and her family. Maggie also speaks honestly about her complicated relationship with her own mother and how love, forgiveness and family can exist alongside pain and difficult memories. This is a conversation about survival, resilience, motherhood and finding strength in the most unimaginable circumstances. It’s a deeply moving episode, but as always, there are laughs, honesty and moments of warmth throughout. We laughed, we cried, and by the end of it we were completely in awe of Maggie. This is one of the most important conversations we’ve had on Give Me A Minute, and we’re so grateful she trusted us with her story. ✨ Follow us on Instagram & TikTok: @givemeaminutepod 💌 Email: givemeaminutpod@gmail.com New episodes every Tuesday. Thanks for being part of the GMAM gang. 💜🎙️ ⚠️ Content warning: This episode contains discussions of childhood trauma, addiction, neglect, foster care, sexual abuse and mental health struggles which some listeners may find distressing
