Why did God wait so long to send Jesus?: The Mystery of God's Timing

If God already knew that Jesus Christ would be the answer to humanity’s sin… why did He wait so long? After Adam and Eve sinned, God could have immediately manifested Himself in the flesh and brought redemption. Instead, generations passed. Abraham waited. Israel waited. The prophets waited. Humanity waited for the promised Messiah. So why? In this episode of Table Talks with LPC Youth, we explore one of the deepest questions surrounding God’s plan of redemption: Why did God wait so long to manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus Christ? We look at what Scripture reveals about the years between Eden and Calvary and how God was working throughout that waiting. We explore the ways the Old Testament reveals God’s faithfulness, grace, mercy, patience, love, promises, justice, and holiness, while also showing humanity the seriousness of sin and the need for redemption. The Bible doesn’t give us every detail about why God chose the exact moment He did, but it gives us something even more valuable: a picture of who God is while we wait. The years between Eden and Calvary were not wasted years. They were generations of God revealing His character, establishing His promises, allowing human choice, demonstrating His patience, and preparing the world for the fullness of redemption in Jesus Christ. And when the fullness of time came, God didn’t send someone else. God came Himself. The Word became flesh. The God humanity had been waiting for was Jesus. This conversation is rooted in the biblical teaching and Apostolic Pentecostal faith foundation of the Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus (Apostolic Church of the Faith in Christ Jesus). Table Talks with LPC Youth is a space where we ask difficult questions, explore Scripture, challenge what we think we know, and have conversations that go a little deeper. #TableTalks #LPCYouth #WhyDidGodWait #WhyJesus #JesusChrist #Incarnation #GodInTheFlesh #Redemption #Salvation #OldTestament #NewTestament #BibleStudy #Christianity #GodsTiming #GodsPlan #Faith #Grace #Mercy #FreeWill #Apostolic #ApostolicPentecostal

Why Did God Create Us If He Knew We Would Sin? | The Mystery of God's Love

Why Did God Create Humanity If He Knew We Would Reject Him? If God knew humanity would sin before He ever created us, why did He create us at all? If God knew Adam and Eve would fall, knew humanity would rebel, and knew that sin would ultimately lead to suffering, separation, and the cross—why didn't He simply choose not to create humanity? In this episode of Table Talks with LPC Youth, we take a deep look at one of the most difficult questions surrounding God, creation, free will, and the problem of sin. We explore what Scripture reveals about the nature of God's love, human free will, God's foreknowledge, the fall of humanity, redemption, and the cross of Jesus Christ. We also examine an important distinction: knowing that something will happen is not the same as causing it to happen. Most importantly, we ask what God's decision to create humanity tells us about who He is. God didn't need humanity. He wasn't incomplete, lonely, or lacking something. Yet He intentionally created us, knowing that we could reject Him. And when humanity did fall, God's response wasn't abandonment—it was pursuit. From Genesis to the cross, we see a God who creates, pursues, forgives, redeems, and continues calling humanity back to Himself. Creation wasn't a mistake. The fall wasn't God's surprise. Redemption wasn't an afterthought. This conversation is rooted in the biblical foundation of the Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus (Apostolic Church of the Faith in Christ Jesus) and is designed to challenge us to think deeply about God's character while remaining grounded in Scripture. Key Scriptures: Genesis 1–3, Deuteronomy 30:19, Joshua 24:15, Psalm 139, Isaiah 43:7, John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 1:4–5, 1 Peter 1:18–20, Ephesians 2:4–7, Revelation 3:20. If God knows EVERYTHING, what's the point of PRAYING?

Why Does God Want Us to Pray If He Already Knows Everything? If God already knows our thoughts, our needs, our fears, and even the words we are about to speak, then why does He still ask us to pray? In this episode of Table Talks with LPC Youth, we take a deeper look at the purpose of prayer and challenge one of the most common questions Christians wrestle with: If God already knows everything, why do I need to pray? Prayer isn't about giving God information He doesn't have. It's about what prayer does in us. Most importantly, this conversation challenges us to reconsider what we think prayer is supposed to accomplish. God doesn't need prayer because He lacks knowledge. We need prayer because we lack everything He is. This episode is rooted in the biblical teaching of the Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus (Apostolic Church of the Faith in Christ Jesus) and is intended to encourage deeper biblical thinking, genuine self-reflection, and a stronger relationship with God. Key Scriptures: Psalm 139, Matthew 6:8–10, Luke 18:1, Hebrews 11:6, 2 Corinthians 5:7, John 15:5, Luke 22:42, Isaiah 55:8–9, 2 Corinthians 12:8–9, Philippians 4:6–7, James 5:16–18, Hebrews 4:16.
