    Hey there fruitful garden, This third episode on how being intimidated about something or someone can keep you from seeing your own worth, value, and uniqueness. Change begins to happen when you start to see yourself as a strong individual. Your weaknesses are simply signs of limitation not incapability. Don’t fall in line with anyone’s orders - stand in your inner power and choose God. Choosing yourself over darkness is always in line with His will. Just because you face darkness - it does not mean God has abandoned you. It’s your opportunity to put darkness in its proper place because you hold the light. Scripture Focus: 1 Peter 3:13-14 Who then will harm you if you are devoted to what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear them, or be intimidated. Genesis 3 & Jeremiah 6 Here I share: * how looking for change in your life can feel uncomfortable, * change cannot happen unless you are honest about what has happened in your life, * consequences must be respected in order to maintain a peaceful/restful life, * navigating the need to remain in revolt against survival & * how discernment leads to your empowerment. Saying no to the normalization of dysfunction can be extremely challenging and feel almost impossible. Choosing to live like you deserve a good life - can feel too exhausting to even consider. I share my story on the steps - I had to take to begin making rest my new normal. Here I process: * a psychological term that causes us to feel trapped, * distinguishing the difference between harm vs love, * identifying how God cares and sees us in our struggle to accept love & * how rationalization can keep us stuck if we aren’t seeing the full story/perspective truthfully.     Biblical Meditation: Seeing God as a Good Parent

    Fruitful Garden, We are at the halfway mark of the “Resting in Love” Challenge. The intent of this meditation is to help you invite peace, rest, and calm into your present. Commanding the chaos in your life to know it is not in charge of you or your destiny. Today’s meditation is focusing on the story of the perspective of the prodigal son, his brother and his father (Luke 15). In this meditation, I invite you to see yourself through this story, whether you are struggling to realize how deeply God loves you or if you can’t seem to shake the idea that working hard is the only way to earn love. This is for you! I hope that through my reflections within this story, you will find that you belong to the King of Kings and He deeply wants to be close to you. All you have to do is let your guard down enough, stop strategizing and give him a chance to show you His love. His love is soft, safe, warm, and gentle. No matter where you find yourself, His acceptance of you is never negotiable. His love and acceptance can become your confidence that you seek for life. May this be your focus in times of struggle. May His love be all that you see - even if life tries to tell you otherwise. You are deeply and fully loved.     Hey there fruitful garden! In this episode, I address how our bodies and our minds become disembodied. Disembodiment is the disconnection that our souls suffer from not being in tune (mind, body, & spirit). There is an internal war that happens to us when trauma occurs to us. Accepting truth and honesty with ourselves and others causes us to begin the healing journey. This month, our community is making space 3 days away week to be still and receive God’s love through his word in our guided meditations. You can access these by becoming a paid subscriber.
