The Landscape Architect Healing Ecosystems With Sound | Carolynn Leaman • Sound Therapy For Nature

For three decades, Carolynn Leaman has been listening to the land. As a landscape architect with a master's from Harvard's Graduate School of Design and ten years of work based in Germany, including projects connected to rebuilding Berlin after the Wall came down, she trained herself to read the patterns of water, soil, and city that most of us walk past. Her consultancy, celadon, takes its name from the Sanskrit word for wealth and health, and she has carried that listening into governments, neighborhoods, and a single grandmother's backyard. Then came an afternoon at the Flathead River. With her children, an armful of instruments, and the silence that followed their cacophony, Carolynn heard nature speak in frequency. The work she had been doing for thirty years was right next to a conversation she was just learning how to hear. That afternoon became the seed of Sound Therapy For Nature, her newest venture. But it was also the beginning of a deeper season. The toolkit Carolynn had built her career on stopped fitting the questions she was being asked, and she began studying what she calls expanding her consciousness. The Monroe Institute. Lucid dreaming. Forty Years of Zen, where she watched her own forgiveness register on a brain scan. Each thread is now part of one practice: science, art, and the natural world, woven into the same listening. In this conversation, she shares the riverbank that started it all, the work she is taking to British Columbia, and the institute she is dreaming up with her grown children. And underneath all of it, a quieter teaching: the path you trained for is not always the path you finish on, and the second half might ask for a different kind of attention than the first. At the heart of her work is a steady invitation: co-create with nature, build relationships rooted in beauty and balance, and rediscover the harmony between people and place. The Drum and the Drumsticks | Brittney Muñoz • Brittney Fusion

"They have the drumstick. You're the drum. And you bought them the drumsticks."   That's the line that lands halfway through this conversation, and it's the one that stays with you.   In this episode of Tap Intuit, Ravyn RB sits down with Brittney Muñoz of Brittney Fusion for a conversation about what actually happens in a nervous system that's been running on push-through for too long, and what it takes to come back from it.   Brittney is a yoga teacher and trauma-informed practitioner based in Colorado Springs. She teaches gentle and warm gentle classes at Cambio Yoga and works one-on-one with clients through her virtual offerings and 12-week mentorship program. She came to this work through the medical field, where she learned firsthand what it costs to skip lunch, skip the bathroom, and skip yourself for years at a time.   The conversation moves through the moment she realized her reactivity to her kids' noise wasn't actually about the noise. It was about whether she had eaten. Whether the sun had touched her skin. Whether she had given herself 30 seconds that day. She walks through the self-check questions she now asks before she reacts, and why building those 30-second moments ten times a day did what twice-weekly yoga classes couldn't.   She also speaks plainly about what she is and isn't. "I'm not a healer. I don't fix things." Yoga, for her, is the door. Not the fix.   Where this episode lands is in the permission to start small. Not 20 minutes. One minute. Not a perfect sunset hike without the kids. Thirty seconds in the middle of the noise, while the kids are still banging on things, asking yourself one honest question.   Her message is direct. You don't need more time. You need to stop pushing through.   You'll learn: Why "I don't have time to meditate" is the wrong problem, and what to do in 30 seconds instead The self-check questions that shift reactivity into regulation, especially for moms and caregivers How gentle, trauma-informed yoga creates choice on the mat, and why that matters more than the workout   Connect with Brittney Muñoz   Website: https://brittneyfusion.com/ Instagram, YouTube, TikTok: @brittneyfusiontraumayoga   Connect with Conscious Colorado Collective Website: https://consciouscoloradocollective.com Instagram: @consciouscoloradocollective @tapintuitpodcast

The Medicine of Purpose | Michael Heartsong of Heartsong Healing | Guest Host Alex Doran

Michael Heartsong was in a coma. His family was saying goodbye. In that moment between worlds, he asked Spirit one question: if there's a purpose to my life, show me now. What he received changed everything. In this special episode of Tap Intuit, host Ravyn RB welcomes guest host Alex Doran, an intuitive guide, tarot reader, and certified Reiki Master, for a layered conversation with Michael Heartsong Cutter, a shamanic healer and IIHA Certified Life Purpose Hand Analyst based in Denver. Recorded directly after Alex received her own Life Purpose Hand Analysis from Michael, this episode carries a rare in-the-moment integration quality you can feel from the first question. Michael's path into this work is its own kind of medicine. A childhood shaped by chronic illness and a conservative upbringing in western Colorado. Years of seeking through Chinese medicine, bodywork, yoga, martial arts, and the alternative scene. A vision of three years of preparation that would lead him to his teachers. From Walking Thunder in the Navajo Nation to John Lockley in South Africa to Itzhak Beery and the Yachak lineages of Ecuador, Michael speaks to what it means to be apprenticed, to honor the carriers of wisdom, and to live in right relationship with the ancestors of this land. Throughout the episode he returns to a central teaching: Our gifts and our traumas are intertwined. Sensitivity is the medicine. Surrender is the door. And how we feel in our work, our relationships, and our lives is the most important data we have. This conversation is for anyone in transition, in expansion, or simply curious about what it means to live life on purpose. YOU'LL LEARN ▸ How a near-death experience can deliver a clear download of life purpose, and what to do when it does ▸ Why your hands hold a map of your gifts, your challenges, and the work you came here to do ▸ What it means to honor indigenous lineages while walking your own healing path ▸ Why surrender is not giving up but the doorway to transformation ▸ How to recognize the difference between the voice of fear and the voice of love CONNECT WITH MICHAEL HEARTSONG CUTTER Shamanic healer, IIHA Certified Life Purpose Hand Analyst, and apprentice of the Yachak healing traditions of Ecuador. Michael offers Life Purpose Hand Analysis, La Limpia shamanic healing sessions, drum making workshops, sound healing, and guided journeys to sacred places including Ecuador.
