Episode 29- Spicy Solo Episode! (Not like that - just slinging some swear words in truthful writing)

This is a spicy solo episode! Podcasters can educate, empower and also entertain! This episode has a bit of all of these!  Here's all the links I mentioned....      A picture never captures the beauty or essence of real life! Take the picture! Be in the moment.     Face your fears!! Otherwise they control you subconsciously.  ·      Show up imperfectly perfect! ·      Contract/Expand |Create/Rest | Intend/Release Attachment ·      If you are in your thirties – this is the time to take care of yourself! Like seriously! ·      Keep advocating, keep digging for knowledge of yourself and your health profile! ·      Trauma work is slow, deep work. You cannot force it. It requires the expansion (new beliefs planted) and then the contraction/integration of those into our lives (which looks messy). ·      Write it true! "If you're writing reality, nice isn't real." -Rosie Ray 1. Truthful as I can be? 2. Have I talked to the person? (to me, this isn't required...could even be dangerous)  3. More important to write or what people think? ·      "Why do you care so much?" – ask yourself why you are putting your health at risk by caring sooooo much? Time to pull back your energy, set boundaries, speak up, draw the line. ·      When you look at yourself – use the BODY | MIND | SPIRIT model (they all connect) ·      Ditch the shame! Can't shame your way into a better life. ·      Plant the seed (water, sun) but don't peek at it or pick at it! Non-attachment. ·      Feral Spirituality – using symbolism in your healing journey, getting in tune with your internal compass! Jen Hamilton – https://www.jenhamilton.co/ Follow her!! Kirtan! Episode 25 - The Womb of Modern Feminism with Brooke Ulrich - Founder & Executive Director of the Yoga Womb

The Womb of Modern Feminism with Brooke Ulrich - Founder & Executive Director of the Yoga Womb  Our guest, Brooke Ulrich and Nurse Jesse dip our toes into the waters of religion, patriarchy, emotions and the face of modern feminism (psst...you probably are a feminist and don't even realize it!) quite a timely conversation for the environment in which we are living today!  www.theyogawomb.org  and www.brilliantmarketingcommunication.com   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theyogawomb Here's more about Brooke! https://uwm.edu/advance/class-note-updates/brooke-adelle-ulrich/  BOOKS: The Chalice & The Blade The Will To Change     Notes - *Trigger warning - brief mention of suicidal ideation/violence  "I'm a lot of things!" (I love this Brooke!)  Everyone was appreciated for their unique strengths not just brute strength/violence.  Most people are feminists but don't realize it! That there is equality between men & women.  Matriarchy - doesn't mean women over men, it's taking care of everyone, especially the most vulnerable populations.  Community is only as strong as our most vulnerable person.   The yoga womb is safe & nurturing space to come to new truths in a community with curiosity.  World change starts with personal transformation.  All anger is sadness!  The womb is a void where the seed is planted for a new possibility.  People with privilege need to stand up for those who don't have that same privilege. Get curious!  It's going to get messy, and that's ok!   Learn more & support the Oneida Nation - https://exploreoneida.com/
