Healed to Heal

Kathleen Johnson

Welcome to Healed to Heal — the podcast for the sick, the weary, the doubting, and the desperate.
For the one who’s prayed and fasted, but still wakes up hurting.
For the one who was told to just accept it.
For the one who dares to believe there’s more to the gospel than what they’ve been told. I’m your host, Kathleen Johnson — author, speaker, and healed woman on a mission. After walking through years of debilitating spinal pain and receiving a supernatural healing, I realized my story was not just a testimony — it was an assignment. This podcast is a call to remember that Jesus still heals. It’s a place where theology meets testimony, where faith meets fire, and where healing flows through real stories, honest questions, and Spirit-led conversations. We’re not here to pretend it’s easy. We’re here to look deeper — to tear down blocks like doubt, fear, and offense — and build real faith. The kind that receives. Each episode is designed to encourage, equip, and ignite:
🔥 Whether you're believing for your own healing
🔥 Or walking in it and ready to carry it forward —
You’re in the right place. Because Healed to Heal is not just a title — it's a commission.

Mick Weinholt — Surviving an Avalanche, Losing a Child, and Finding God in the Pain

In this powerful and deeply personal conversation, I sit down with Mick Weinholt, host of the When You Look podcast, to talk about the life-changing moments that led him from self-reliance to a transforming relationship with God. As a young man, Mick survived a devastating avalanche while climbing alone in the Colorado mountains—an experience that left him with severe injuries and should have taken his life. Years later, he faced an even more heartbreaking tragedy when he and his wife lost their full-term son just days before delivery. In that moment, he realized there was one problem he could not fix on his own. What followed was a journey of grief, surrender, and ultimately redemption, as Mick discovered the reality of God’s presence in the middle of pain and the healing that comes through relationship with Him. Today, Mick shares his story to help others recognize that God is still at work—even in the hardest moments—and that hope can rise from the deepest loss. Topics we cover:
• Surviving a life-threatening avalanche and walking away against the odds
• Facing the devastating loss of a full-term child

The Hidden Power of Decision—and Why It Changes Everything

What if the reason you haven’t seen breakthrough yet… isn’t a lack of faith—but a decision you didn’t even realize you made? In this solo episode, Kathleen Johnson unpacks a powerful, often overlooked truth: your beliefs are not just something you have—they are decisions you’ve made. And if that’s true, then you can change them. If you’ve ever struggled to fully believe for healing… if you’ve wrestled with disappointment, delay, or unanswered prayers… this episode will meet you right where you are and show you a way forward. Drawing from scripture, neuroscience, and real-life application, Kathleen walks you through: • Why belief can feel so hard to change • How your brain filters reality based on what you’ve already decided • The hidden power of “deciding to believe” before you feel it • What the father in Mark 9 reveals about faith and unbelief • Why some heard the voice of God… and others heard thunder (John 12) • How the woman with the issue of blood built belief through decision and action • How to identify and dismantle limiting beliefs around healing This episode is not about striving harder—it’s about aligning differently. Because when you change the decision… you change the belief.
And when you change the belief… everything else can follow. If you’re ready to stop waiting for faith to feel strong and start stepping into it with intention, this episode is for you. 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal

    MAR 13

The Word Is the Seed: The Faith Principle That Unlocks Healing

In this solo episode of the Healed to Heal Podcast, Kathleen Johnson explores one of the most powerful and often overlooked principles in Scripture: The Word of God is a seed. When Jesus explained the parable of the sower, He revealed something profound about how the Kingdom of God works. Just as a farmer cannot expect a harvest without planting seed, believers cannot expect faith to grow unless the Word of God is first planted in the heart. Many Christians are praying for a harvest while unintentionally neglecting the seed. Drawing from Scripture, the teachings of healing evangelist F.F. Bosworth, and her own healing journey, Kathleen unpacks the practical instructions found in Proverbs 4:20–22 and explains how they form a clear roadmap for cultivating faith and receiving God’s promises. This passage reveals three simple but powerful steps: • Hear the Word
• Keep the Word before your eyes
• Guard the Word in your heart What we hear shapes what we believe.
What we focus on expands.
And what we allow into our hearts begins to grow. Just as seeds grow when they remain planted in the soil, the promises of God begin working quietly beneath the surface when they are planted and protected in our hearts. But when we constantly focus on symptoms, fear, or doubt, we may unintentionally plant a different kind of seed. The good news is that God’s Word is living and powerful. When it is planted deeply and nurtured with faith, it produces life, healing, peace, and breakthrough. As F.F. Bosworth wrote in Christ the Healer: “After you have planted your seed, you believe it is growing before you see it grow. This is faith, the evidence of things not seen.” The pattern of the Kingdom is simple: Seed first.
Then the harvest. If you or someone you love is believing for healing, breakthrough, or renewed faith, this episode will help you understand how planting the Word of God allows His promises to take root and produce life. Faith grows when the Word is planted.
And the harvest always follows the seed. 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal

Dan Esposito — From Debilitating Chronic Pain to Radical Healing | The Science, Faith & Breakthrough Behind the UNDO Method

In this powerful episode of the Healed to Heal podcast, I sit down with Dan Esposito, a former NFL athlete whose life took a dramatic turn when chronic pain, inflammation, and debilitating diagnoses began to take over his body. Doctors told Dan he would need multiple joint replacements and that his conditions—fibromyalgia, degenerative arthritis, and systemic inflammation—would define his future. But instead of accepting that narrative, Dan set out on a relentless journey to understand what was happening inside his body and how healing might actually be possible. What followed was a remarkable transformation. Through deep research, experimentation, fasting, nutritional shifts, and an unexpected spiritual awakening, Dan began reversing the very conditions he was told were permanent. Today, he shares the science, discoveries, and faith journey that led him to develop the UNDO Method and his supplement Flexibility Fuel, tools designed to help others break the cycle of chronic pain and inflammation. This conversation explores the intersection of biology, lifestyle, faith, and personal responsibility in healing. It also challenges many of the assumptions we have been taught about chronic illness, nutrition, and the body's ability to recover. Topics we discuss:
• Dan’s early life, trauma, and athletic background
• The collapse of his health and diagnosis with fibromyalgia and severe inflammation
• How diet, processed foods, and inflammation contributed to his decline
• The surprising role of fasting and metabolic repair in his recovery
• The science behind fibrin buildup, inflammation, and chronic pain
• How spiritual awakening and faith reshaped his healing journey
• The creation of the UNDO Method and his mission to help others recover from chronic pain Dan’s story is a powerful reminder that healing is often possible even when we’ve been told otherwise. If you or someone you love struggles with chronic pain, this episode will open your mind to new possibilities for recovery and restoration. Tiffany Brearton — From Stilettos to Grace: Sexual Trauma, Redemption & Finding Her Voice

In this deeply moving and courageous episode, I sit down with Tiffany Brearton — co-founder of She Was Made for More Ministry and author of From Stilettos to Grace and From a Mess to His Message. Tiffany’s story is raw, honest, and redemptive. Raised in a stable home, Tiffany experienced sexual abuse at a young age — trauma that quietly shaped her identity, relationships, and life decisions for years. What followed was a path marked by shame, silence, involvement in the adult entertainment industry, abusive relationships, loss, grief, and layers of trauma. But that is not where her story ends. Through relentless pursuit of Jesus — like the woman with the issue of blood — Tiffany discovered that healing is not just possible… it is promised. Her journey included counseling, EMDR therapy, deliverance, confession, community, and ultimately the deep restoration only Christ can bring. Today, Tiffany uses her voice to bring light into dark places — advocating for survivors of sexual trauma and human trafficking, speaking in churches, and helping women walk their own path from shame to freedom. In this conversation we discuss: • How childhood trauma can silently rewrite a life
• The hidden connection between sexual abuse and trafficking
• Why bringing darkness into the light is the first step toward freedom
• The power of safe community in healing
• Chasing Jesus like the woman with the issue of blood
• Why your healing is never just for you Listener discretion advised: This episode includes discussion of sexual abuse and adult entertainment industry experiences, always handled with care and compassion. If you have ever believed you were too broken, too far gone, or too ashamed to be restored — this conversation is for you. Connect with Tiffany Brearton Website: https://www.tiffanybrearton.com

  7. Why Would God Use a Serpent to Heal? Redemption Revealed

    FEB 27

Why Would God Use a Serpent to Heal? Redemption Revealed

When we talk about divine healing, we’re not just talking about miracles — we’re talking about the nature of God. Is healing something God sometimes does… or is it woven into who He is? In this solo episode, Kathleen Johnson explores one of the most misunderstood stories in Scripture: the bronze serpent lifted up in the wilderness (Numbers 21:8–9). Why would God instruct Moses to raise up the image of a serpent — the very symbol many associate with the Fall — and use it as a means of healing? And why did Jesus later point directly to that moment and say, “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up” (John 3:14)? By tracing the thread from: The serpent in Eden (life disconnected from God), To the bronze serpent lifted up (life restored through alignment), To Christ lifted up (redemption and healing made available), you’ll begin to see that healing is not an afterthought — it is part of Christ’s redemptive work. If the Fall introduced death into spirit, soul, and body… Then redemption must reach spirit, soul, and body. If God revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha — “I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26) — then healing flows from His nature. This episode will challenge double-mindedness, confront subtle unbelief, and invite you to see that in Christ, you are not separate from your Source. You are grafted back into Life. Healing is not something you beg for. It is something you receive in alignment with who God already is. Look — and live. 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal

  8. Is God Arbitrary? The Truth About Mercy, Romans 9, and Relational Mirroring

    FEB 24

Is God Arbitrary? The Truth About Mercy, Romans 9, and Relational Mirroring

    Is God arbitrary?
When Paul writes in Romans 9:15, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,” it can sound harsh… even exclusive. At first glance, it almost feels like God is saying:
“Some people get mercy. Some don’t. Deal with it.” But is that really what Scripture teaches? In this solo episode, Kathleen Johnson tackles one of the most misunderstood passages in the Bible and reveals a life-changing key that unlocks it: Relational Mirroring. God is sovereign in mercy — yes.
But sovereign does not mean random.
It does not mean capricious.
And it does not mean favoritism. Throughout Scripture we see a consistent pattern: • Seek → Find • Knock → Door opens • Draw near → He draws near • Humble → Lifted • Resist → Distance increases God does not change.
But hearts respond differently. Like the same sun that melts wax but hardens clay, God is steady — yet the posture of our hearts determines how we experience Him. In this episode, Kathleen explores: • What Paul was actually saying in Romans 9 • Why sovereignty does NOT equal arbitrariness • The real meaning behind Pharaoh “hardening his heart” • Why mercy is never withdrawn — only resisted • The powerful principle of relational mirroring • How humility, faith, and turning toward God position us to receive If you’ve ever wondered: • Why does it seem like some people receive and others don’t? • Is God selective? • Is healing and mercy truly for everyone? This episode will ground you in one unshakable truth: God is relentlessly faithful to who He is. And who He is… is merciful. The question isn’t whether He is willing.
The question is — are we turning? 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal
