Healed to Heal

Kathleen Johnson

Welcome to Healed to Heal — the podcast for the sick, the weary, the doubting, and the desperate.
For the one who’s prayed and fasted, but still wakes up hurting.
For the one who was told to just accept it.
For the one who dares to believe there’s more to the gospel than what they’ve been told. I’m your host, Kathleen Johnson — author, speaker, and healed woman on a mission. After walking through years of debilitating spinal pain and receiving a supernatural healing, I realized my story was not just a testimony — it was an assignment. This podcast is a call to remember that Jesus still heals. It’s a place where theology meets testimony, where faith meets fire, and where healing flows through real stories, honest questions, and Spirit-led conversations. We’re not here to pretend it’s easy. We’re here to look deeper — to tear down blocks like doubt, fear, and offense — and build real faith. The kind that receives. Each episode is designed to encourage, equip, and ignite:
🔥 Whether you're believing for your own healing
🔥 Or walking in it and ready to carry it forward —
You’re in the right place. Because Healed to Heal is not just a title — it's a commission.

After the Diagnosis: Stop Magnifying the Problem

When a frightening diagnosis arrives, it is natural to start searching, analyzing, studying statistics, retelling every detail, and imagining what might happen next. But without realizing it, we can spend hours magnifying the problem and only minutes focusing on the promise. In this powerful solo episode, Kathleen Johnson shares what to do after a diagnosis or troubling health report, and what we must learn to avoid if we want to protect our faith, peace, and inner world. This is not about denying symptoms, rejecting medical care, or blaming anyone for being sick. It is about divine focus. A diagnosis may provide important information, but it is not your identity, your master, or the final word over your life. Kathleen explores the remarkable connection between expectation and the body, including the placebo and nocebo effects, the impact of chronic fear on the nervous system, and why an imagined catastrophe can create a physical response before anything has actually happened. She also turns to the biblical account of the twelve spies, who all saw the same giants but returned with two very different reports. Joshua and Caleb did not deny the giants. They simply refused to make the giants bigger than God. In this episode, you will learn how to: • Receive necessary medical information without allowing it to consume your attention • Stop identifying yourself with a diagnosis • Recognize when research has become fear-filled rehearsal • Protect your conversations, words, and imagination • Replace frightening inner pictures with a vision of healing and life • Choose people who will come into agreement with God’s promises • Calm your nervous system and help your body return to peace • Feed your faith instead of trying to force it Your symptoms may be loud, but they are not God. The report may describe what is visible right now, but it does not get to write the ending. You are always magnifying something. The question is, what will fill your field of vision? Discern the Body: The Healing Revelation Hidden in Communion

What if every time you took communion, you were sitting before a provision for healing without realizing it was there? Most Christians have been taught clearly and powerfully about the blood of Jesus, and thank God for the blood. We understand that His blood was shed for the forgiveness of sins, that it established the new covenant, and that through it we have been cleansed, redeemed, and reconciled to God. But what about His body? Jesus gave His disciples two elements: the bread and the cup. One sacrifice. One Savior. One finished work. But the blood was shed, and the body was given. If we recognize only the blood, are we receiving only part of what Jesus told us to remember? For most of my life, I read Paul’s warning about failing to “discern the Lord’s body” without understanding what it meant. Why would Paul connect that failure with weakness, sickness, and even premature death? What could communion possibly have to do with physical healing? It was only when I began seeking healing for myself and studying the ministries of T. L. Osborn, F. F. Bosworth, and others who helped thousands receive healing that this passage finally came alive. They saw a truth hidden in plain sight throughout Scripture: the sacrifice of Jesus contains provision for the whole person. Isaiah declared that Jesus bore our sicknesses, carried our pains, and was wounded for our transgressions. Matthew explicitly connects Isaiah’s prophecy to the physical healings Jesus performed. Peter tells us that Christ bore our sins “in His own body on the tree” and that “by His stripes you were healed.” Psalm 103 places both benefits side by side: He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. Forgiveness and healing. The blood and the body. The whole table. In this episode, we explore what it truly means to discern the Lord’s body and why our understanding matters. Faith cannot knowingly receive a provision it has never been taught exists. As T. L. Osborn explained, if believers had been taught about healing as positively as they have been taught about salvation, they would believe for healing in the same way they believe for regeneration. Communion is not an empty ritual or a funeral service for a Jesus who remains in the grave. It is the proclamation of a finished, victorious work. The elements are not magic, but they place before us something real: the blood of the new covenant and the body in which Jesus bore our sins, sicknesses, infirmities, and pains. The next time you come to the communion table, do not rush past the bread. Stop. Look at it. Remember what Jesus bore in His body for yours. Honor the blood by receiving forgiveness, and honor the body by discerning the healing provision Christ purchased for you. The blood was shed for you.
The body was given for you.
Do not remember one and forget the other. Scriptures discussed 1 Corinthians 11:23–30; Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 2:24; Psalm 103:2–3; John 8:32; Romans 10:17; Romans 8:11; Hebrews 13:8; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Colossians 1:27. From Running from God to Knowing Him Intimately | David Leadbetter's Crazy Amazing God Story

What if some of the biggest moments of God's faithfulness happened long before you ever recognized His hand? In this powerful conversation, I sit down with David Leadbetter, host of the Crazy Amazing God Stories podcast, to hear one of the most remarkable testimonies I've encountered. David shares how a life that had wandered far from God—filled with pride, drugs, and self-destruction—was interrupted by an unmistakable act of divine intervention that ultimately saved him from making a tragic decision. Years later, after encountering the Holy Spirit in a life-changing way, David realized that what once seemed like a strange coincidence was actually God's loving protection all along. But this conversation is about much more than one incredible story. Together we explore how God continues to pursue every one of us, how we learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit, why spending daily time in God's Word changes everything, and why testimonies are one of the greatest faith-builders we have. In this episode we discuss: • David's dramatic testimony of God's intervention before he knew Christ
• How the Holy Spirit transformed his life years later
• Learning to recognize God's voice through Scripture and obedience
• Why no one is ever too far gone for God's grace
• The life-changing power of reading the Bible every day
• Why testimonies strengthen faith and awaken expectancy
• The inspiration behind the Crazy Amazing God Stories podcast
• Living a Spirit-led life instead of relying on ourselves If you've ever wondered whether God is still speaking... whether He still intervenes... or whether you've gone too far for His grace, this conversation is for you. Connect with David Leadbetter 🎙️ Crazy Amazing God Stories Podcast

Spirit Over Flesh: The Hidden Key to Healing, Peace, and Breakthrough

What if the greatest obstacle to experiencing God's promises isn't God's willingness...but who is leading your life? Many believers genuinely love Jesus, yet continue living frustrated, fearful, anxious, or stuck. Scripture tells us that God's divine power has already given us everything we need for life and godliness, so why is there often such a gap between His promises and our experience? In this episode, Kathleen explores one of the most transformative truths she has discovered through years of studying healing, Scripture, and the lives of people who experienced remarkable breakthroughs. The issue isn't simply having more faith. The issue is learning to let the Spirit rule. In this episode you'll discover: • Why every challenge presents us with two competing reports: the report of our senses and the report of God's Word. • Why biblical faith isn't blind belief, but confidence built upon the character and faithfulness of God. • What it really means to be "saved but not surrendered." • How God's design has always been for your spirit—not your natural mind or your emotions—to lead your life. • Why renewing the mind is essential for overcoming fear, double-mindedness, and unbelief. • How learning to "decide to believe" positions us to experience God's promises. • A personal testimony of standing on Scripture until an impossible situation was completely overturned. When the Spirit leads, peace replaces striving. Truth overcomes fear. Faith begins to outweigh what your senses report, and God's promises become living realities instead of distant hopes. This episode lays the foundation for an upcoming series on healing, renewing the mind, and learning to consistently live from the inside out—from the Spirit rather than the flesh. Key Scriptures: Hebrews 11:1; Romans 8:5–14; Romans 8:11; Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 4:18; Mark 9:23; Colossians 1:27; Ephesians 2:4–10; Proverbs 4:18; Psalm 34:19. Remember... This is where you come to receive your healing...and then carry that healing to the world. 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal Podcast Website:

Can You Really Hear God's Voice? Rev. Dr. David Chotka on Discernment, Healing Prayer & Walking with God

Does God still speak today? And if He does...how do we know it's really Him? Those are questions nearly every believer has wrestled with, and in this conversation, Rev. Dr. David Chotka brings decades of biblical study, pastoral ministry, and firsthand experience to answer them with both wisdom and humility. What I appreciated most about this conversation is that David doesn't point us toward formulas or spectacular experiences. He points us toward a deeper relationship with Christ. He reminds us that hearing God's voice is not reserved for a select few, but is part of the normal Christian life as we learn to recognize His peace, respond in obedience, and walk with Him day by day. Along the way, David shares remarkable stories of healing, divine appointments, answered prayer, and the surprising ways God often speaks through ordinary moments. One insight in particular, his explanation of what it means to "let the peace of Christ rule" in our hearts, completely changed the way I look at that passage of Scripture. If you've ever longed to hear God's voice more clearly, wondered how to discern His leading, or desired a deeper walk with the Lord, I believe this conversation will encourage and equip you. In this episode we discuss: • Can every believer hear God's voice? • Learning to recognize God's peace as His guidance. • Practical ways to discern whether an impression is truly from the Lord. • How healing prayer became a central part of David's ministry. • Powerful stories of God's intervention and miraculous healing. • Why obedience often comes before understanding. • The difference between striving for God and walking with Him. • Growing in confidence as you learn to recognize His leading. Healing Is for You: Biblical Ways to Receive Divine Healing

Healing Is for You: Biblical Ways to Receive Divine Healing Is healing random... or has God already shown us how people receive it? In this solo episode, Kathleen Johnson explores one of the most encouraging discoveries she made while seeking her own healing. After years of studying Scripture alongside the writings of great healing voices like Andrew Murray, F.F. Bosworth, E.W. Kenyon, Smith Wigglesworth, T.L. Osborn, Kenneth Hagin, and many others, one pattern became unmistakably clear: God repeatedly reveals multiple biblical ways people receive healing. In this episode, Kathleen walks through these scriptural invitations, showing that healing has never been presented as a mystery or a matter of chance. Through passages like Mark 11, James 5, Matthew 18, Isaiah 53, and 1 Peter 2, she explains how faith works, why revelation must become greater than our senses, and why God's Word remains the final authority. Along the way you'll hear remarkable stories of faith from men and women whose lives became living testimonies of God's healing power, including Kenneth Hagin, Carrie Judd Montgomery, Ethan Otis Allen, A.B. Simpson, Smith Wigglesworth, and T.L. Osborn. Their stories don't point to extraordinary people. They point to an extraordinary God who still keeps His promises today. In this episode you'll discover: • Why healing is never portrayed as random in Scripture. • The difference between sense knowledge and revelation knowledge. • Several biblical ways God invites us to receive healing. • Why believing always comes before seeing. • Powerful historical examples of ordinary believers who trusted God's Word and experienced miraculous healing. • How to build your faith by standing on God's promises instead of your circumstances. Whether you are believing for your own healing or learning how to minister healing to others, this episode will encourage you to take God at His Word and discover that His promises are just as true today as they were when Jesus first spoke them. 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal

What If Jesus Meant What He Said? Faith, the Unseen Realm, and Moving Mountains

Have you ever wondered if we've quietly reduced some of the most powerful things Jesus said because they seem too impossible to believe? In this solo episode, Kathleen Johnson explores a question that has challenged her own faith journey for years: What if Jesus actually meant what He said? Drawing from Scripture, personal experience, and reflections inspired by the book Quantum Faith, Kathleen examines the relationship between faith, the unseen realm, and the words we speak. This is not an attempt to prove Christianity through science. Rather, it is an invitation to consider whether reality is far bigger, deeper, and more mysterious than we often assume—and whether God's Word deserves to be trusted even when our circumstances seem to say otherwise. Together we'll explore: • Why Hebrews says the visible world was formed from what is unseen
• What Jesus was teaching through the fig tree and the moving mountain
• Why faith is described as substance and evidence
• The difference between walking by sight and walking by faith
• How our words reveal what we truly believe
• Why many believers struggle to believe before they see results
• Lessons from Kathleen's own healing journey and renewed understanding of faith
• How faith, meditation, confession, and expectation work together to transform the way we think This episode is not about denying reality or pretending problems don't exist. It is about learning to believe that God's Word is more real, more trustworthy, and more powerful than what we currently see. What if the unseen realm is more real than the seen? What if faith really is substance? And what if Jesus meant exactly what He said? 🎙️ More from Healed to Heal
