Never kiss a man in an ugly Christmas sweater while fact checking USS Christmas

SUMMER REWIND SERIES: We’re getting closer to the launch of Season 2 but we’ve still got some time to replay some of our old podcast episodes. This week is a fun one, probably our favorite episode of all time. We reviewed the Hallmark Christmas movie Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, which set off a very tense discussion about the “ugly Christmas sweater” trend. But the best part was an epic fact check from a Navy husband who had some nitpicks with USS Christmas. It was shocking to learn Hallmark may have gotten a few things wrong about Navy life, but it was a very educational experience. It will also be very clear that I (Kira) know nothing about military life or titles. We had so much fun recording this episode and it was fun to go back re-listen. We were just on the cusp of 2021 and adjusting to life in the pandemic era, but as always, we remained faithful to the Christmas spirit. Summer Rewind: A Royal Christmas - Revolution in Cordinia

Our Summer Rewind series continues as we dip into the archives of our first podcast, A Very Merry Podcast. You may remember we decided it would be a good idea to rebrand as there was already a more established podcast with a similar name. But we did a lot of great work over there, so we decided to share some of those episodes to keep the content rolling for the summer on the free side. It’s summer break in Christmasland! We’re moving indoors where the AC keeps it cool enough to wear our cozy sweaters and drink our spiced eggnogs. That means fresh content will be behind the paywall until next season (premiering on Halloween).
