How do we become a Zion People

What does it really mean to build Zion?We often think of Zion as a future place—the New Jerusalem, a city prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. But in scripture, before Zion was a place, Zion was a people.“The Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness.” — Moses 7:18In this episode of Everyday Hallelujah, we explore what it means to become Zion—to become a people filled with the light and love of Jesus Christ. We’ll look at Enoch’s Zion, the warning in Doctrine and Covenants 84 about minds being darkened when we treat God’s word lightly, and the Lord’s invitation to receive more and more light until it grows “brighter and brighter until the perfect day.”We’ll also follow a beautiful pattern through the Book of Mormon—from King Benjamin, to the Waters of Mormon, to the ministry of the resurrected Jesus Christ, and finally to the Zion society of 4 Nephi. The pattern always leads us back to Christ. His word is truth. Truth is light. He is the source of that light. And as we choose Him, study His word, keep our covenants, repent, pray for charity, forgive, serve, and allow His love to fill our hearts, He changes us.Zion is built heart by heart, as ordinary disciples choose Jesus Christ again and again. And someday, when the King of Zion comes again, may He find a people who know Him because they have been choosing Him all along.🤍 Subscribe to Everyday Hallelujah for conversations centered on Jesus Christ, scripture, faith, and recognizing God’s hand in everyday life.#BecomingZion #Zion #JesusChrist #ComeUntoChrist #BookOfMormon #DoctrineAndCovenants #LDS #LatterdaySaint #ChurchOfJesusChrist #ScriptureStudy #ComeFollowMe #GeneralConference #LightOfChrist #Charity #FaithInJesusChrist #GatheringIsrael #EverydayHallelujah

What If Women Saw Each Other the Way Jesus Does?

In this episode, we’re talking about judgment, comparison, shame, charity, and what it really means to be another woman’s cheerleader, even when her life looks different from ours.We look at the way Jesus treated women who were struggling, misunderstood, or judged by others, and ask a question that has stayed with us: When another woman walks into the room, do we see what everyone else sees, or do we see what Jesus sees?Moroni teaches that charity “suffereth long, and is kind… envieth not… thinketh no evil… believeth all things, hopeth all things.”What would happen if we became those kinds of women?Women who make room.Women who celebrate each other.Women who protect each other’s dignity.Women who point each other toward Christ.Women who teach the girls coming behind us that we are on the same team. 🤍#EverydayHallelujah #WomenSupportingWomen #ChristianWomen #LDSWomen #WomenOfFaith #CharityNeverFaileth #Moroni7 #JesusChrist #ComeUntoChrist #FaithInJesusChrist #ChristianPodcast #LDSPodcast #Sisterhood #ChooseCharity

What God Taught me about Fear

For months, the words of Psalm 23 kept coming to my mind as I walked through the temple grounds early in the morning. I didn’t know then how much I was going to need them. After a terrible dream about one of my children sent me spiraling into fear and dread, the Lord reminded me—in the most personal and beautiful ways—that He was near.God does not speak to us through darkness and fear. He speaks with love, light, peace and power.“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7This is my experience of how the Good Shepherd met me in my own little valley. ❤️#psalm23 #thelordismyshepherd #jesuschrist #bookofmormon #everydayhallelujah #faithoverfear #godisnear #hearhim #trustgod #comeuntochrist #lds #latterdaysaint #christianpodcast

The Answer Is Jesus | How to Actually Walk With Him

What if the answer to what we’re searching for isn’t a thing at all, but a Person?Jesus Christ is the source of light, peace, healing, freedom, power, goodness and joy. And His invitation has always been simple: Come. Follow Me. Walk with Me.In this episode of Everyday Hallelujah, we talk about what it really means to seek Jesus Christ, not just to know about Him, but to know Him. We’ll talk about learning of Him through scripture, spending time with Him in prayer, repentance as turning back toward Him, and how covenants bind us to Christ and give us access to His power. We all fall short. God knew we would. That’s exactly why He gave us Jesus. The invitation is still ours: Choose Him. Seek Him. Follow Him. Serve Him. Believe Him. And walk with Him.#JesusChrist #EverydayHallelujah #ComeFollowMe #Faith #Christian #Gospel #WalkWithHim #seekhim

    Access to God's Power

We often think our greatest problem is stress, fear, temptation, or difficult circumstances. But what if our deepest problem is actually separation from God?In this episode of Everyday Hallelujah, we explore how Jesus Christ restores us to the presence and power of God through the Holy Ghost. We’ll discuss what it means to “lay hold upon every good thing,” why the Holy Ghost is essential to spiritual power, and President Russell M. Nelson’s powerful teaching that every time we leave the temple, we leave “armed with God’s power.”If you’ve ever longed to feel closer to God or wondered how to experience His strength more consistently, this conversation is for you.#EverydayHallelujah #JesusChrist #HolyGhost #PowerOfGod #Temple #LDS #BookOfMormon #FaithInChrist #ChristianPodcast #SpiritualGrowth #ComeUntoChrist #RussellMNelson

A Nation’s Freedom, and the Freedom Only Christ Can Give

s America celebrates 250 years of independence, my friend Kristi and I have been thinking about freedom. As we’ve studied we’ve realized the scriptures point us to a freedom far greater than political liberty.Jesus Christ came to free us from sin, shame, fear, addiction, pride, and everything that separates us from God. Through His Atonement, we can become truly free, not just outwardly, but inwardly. In this episode, we explore how the Abrahamic covenant, promised lands, moral agency, the Restoration, and the gospel of Jesus Christ all point to God’s desire to make His children free.Because while earthly freedom is a precious gift worth protecting, spiritual freedom is the gift that changes us forever. Our prayer is that this conversation leaves you with a greater love for Jesus Christ and a deeper appreciation for the freedom only He can give.“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free.” (Galatians 5:1)#EverydayHallelujah #JesusChrist #FreedomInChrist #ComeUntoChrist #BookOfMormon #FaithPodcast #ChristianPodcast #ScriptureStudy #Restoration #HopeInChrist #Agency #America250

The Secret to Unlocking Further Light and Knowledge

This week, we take a deep dive into 3 Nephi 26:6-12, where the prophet Mormon reveals the divine editorial rules he had to follow. Why did God withhold "the hundredth part" of Christ's teachings? Because, as we learn, God is a Master Teacher who follows a precise, spiritual law: The Spiritual Physics of Light. We break down this universal protocol across scripture:How God uses the 'lesser portion' first to try our faith. The connection to President Ezra Taft Benson’s warning about being under condemnation for treating the Book of Mormon lightly.Christ's "law of spiritual capital" from Matthew and Mark.Paul's distinction between milk and meat in 1 Corinthians. If you’ve been praying for more light and knowledge, this episode will show you the exact sequence required to open the heavens. It’s time to move from the shadows into the abundance of light.#Revelation #BookofMormon #DeepDoctrine #FurtherLight #TheGospel #LDSFaith #3Nephi26 #spiritualgrowth

Heavenly Mother, Divine Identity and the Power of Women

We’re having a deeper conversation about the divine role and power of women in God’s plan.We talk about what we do, and don’t, understand about Heavenly Mother, and how even that limited knowledge can reshape the way we see women, identity, and divinity itself. We also explore how God has consistently worked through women in scripture, not in the background, but in central, defining moments of faith, revelation, and deliverance. This conversation touches on feminine divine attributes like wisdom, discernment, and nurturing not as “soft traits,” but as real spiritual power and how those gifts work in partnership with men to accomplish God’s purposes.More than anything, this episode is an invitation to see women the way God does. #HeavenlyMother #DivineIdentity #WomenOfFaith #LDSWomen #ChristianWomen #FaithAndPurpose #MotherhoodAndFaith #SpiritualGrowth #WomenInScripture #GospelInsights #ComeUntoChrist
