A Blight Detour

Banter: In case you hadn't heard, we are all GMs and bringing those skills to the table when called upon. Maybe not without Daniel's role but we try our best. As GM's art tends to imitate art. We are inspired by what is around us, entertaining us, and sometimes it is hard to shoot from the hip in our private games. So what have we "borrowed" or used? Many references and flash backs later, you'll see sometimes our players are better at it than us. Gameplay: We take a pause at the table. Our last episode's cliffhanger left a lot to discuss above table. Daniel gives us the space to do that as he also takes a pause to take our, and our character's, thoughts and feelings into consideration. After Caelig's overwhelming happenings, we find a place to stay using more tablet directions. Autonomy, an experiment, and a bottle from Urtan awaits but WHEN are we? What has happened our adventurers have missed?

Envoys of Alteration

Welcome Back to the 4d4 Podcast Season 2!! Banter: Since we are getting back in the groove of it all, Daniel wants to make sure we start with a check-in to see if we are all still having a good time. We use the Stars and Wishes method to gauge the table. Kiyoshi loves a good time skip, and a good pantheon. He wishes to pick up the threads we left behind, the "unfinished business" as he describes. Mikayla also loves a good time skip. She is looking forward to see what has happened on Tavros. There was so much that happened during the ISS, the surface of this planet has her wishing to explore. Samm, yet again, stars a time skip (like everyone else) but mostly because they do this to others as a GM and are getting a taste of their own medicine. It is exciting, engaging, and they wish to see what happens next in the zoomed in part of the story. With so much anticipation, we almost skip Daniel. He stars the time skip since he has never done that before. He created a game, the ISS, and it built lore to the story we are paying. Time to enjoy the consequence of our actions. Gameplay: Our GM opens with a historical blurb. Perspective given to recording the earthly time passing. Then our characters are brought back to the surface. Water is everywhere. A shock to all but Verith, our resident swimmer. After we evaluate more of our surroundings, we gather ourselves just enough to make our way to a tower. A bell tolling 8 times in the distance. On the route to wherever we are, we see new things at every turn. Carts, soldiers, an entry gate, and many slates of stone. Caelig is worried to misstep with all that is new, Verith is ready to discover knowledge, and Z'adrah just wants to see the tower in the center of the city. From infirmaries to the icons, maps to old family seals, the journey has begun again. Let's Play Pretend!
