2Xs and Y Podcast

Chaos, No E and Spike On The Mic

Welcome to 2Xs&Y, the podcast powered by the 23rd pair of chromosomes — two Xs and one Y — each adding their own voice to real, unfiltered conversations. With Chaos and No E repping the double Xs and Spike on the Mic bringing the Y or Why. We’re three longtime friends who’ve spent years laughing, debating, and exploring anything and everything life throws our way. From wild opinions to different points of view, every episode feels like you pulled up a chair to the group chat. If you like genuine conversations, rogue opinions, unexpected tangents, and plenty of personality, you’re in the right place.

    OK Boomer

2XsandY is at it again, and tonight's episode takes listeners from personal safety to pure randomness in record time. Chaos kicks things off with insights from The Gift of Fear, exploring the idea that true fear isn't panic; it's an internal alarm system designed to protect us from danger. NoE follows with a recent unsettling Uber experience where her intuition told her something wasn't quite right, leading the crew into a discussion about modern scams and trafficking tactics. From suspicious parking lot encounters to strangers asking you to smell a perfume or help with a seemingly innocent favor, the conversation serves as a reminder that sometimes your instincts know more than you realize. Of course, this is 2XsandY, so the serious talk doesn't last forever. Spike puts the crew through a "Boomer Test" (with no reference whatsoever to any generation), resulting in Princess Brown unexpectedly earning the title of resident Boomer. Not to be outdone, NoE challenges everyone with a collection of quirky trivia questions about the history of games, turning the episode into an impromptu competition. Princess Brown then asks a surprisingly reflective question: What would your 12- or 13-year-old self think of the person you've become today? And as always, Spike on the Mic wraps things up with a topic only he could bring to the table, his personal definition of what it means to be "tall." From survival instincts and life reflections to quizzes, competition, and questionable measurements of height, it's another night of real talk, random tangents, and plenty of laughs with the 2XsandY crew.

2Xs&Y - 023 - Who Has Your Back And The Future

Another hour of the 2XsandY crew means another hour of random tangents, spirited debates, and plenty of laughs. NoE, Chaos, Princess Brown, and Spike are all in the studio with opinions on just about everything. NoE kicks things off by asking: Would you let a friend use you as their excuse? Whether it's using you as the reason the friend went somewhere their partner wouldn’t approve of, dodging an event, or avoiding an awkward situation, the crew weighs in on where they draw the line. Princess Brown then sparks a lively conversation by asking why society embraces celebrations like engagement parties, bridal showers, and children's birthdays, yet often views it as odd or self-indulgent when single people want to celebrate themselves or even throw birthday parties for their beloved pets. Inspired by a classic Sex and the City episode, the crew debates whether milestones outside of marriage and parenthood deserve the same recognition—and why they're so often dismissed. Not to be outdone, Spike takes the conversation in a completely different direction, arguing that future generations need to keep having children because today's workers fund tomorrow's Social Security. And, as always, he wraps up the show with a nostalgic question: What was your very first job, and how—or why—did it come to an end? It's another episode full of real talk, unexpected detours, and the kind of conversations only the 2XsandY crew can have.
