Slumber Party Massacre Luncheon is a cozy carnage horror hangout — part sleepover, part séance. Rob and Petrus dig through the guts of horror movies, books, and games with equal parts humor, nostalgia, and blood-soaked analysis. Think drive-in vibes, VHS static, and way too much candy. Come for the screams, stay for the snacks.

Ep. 51 Children's Horror - One for the Lil' Spooky Dudes

Halloween is this week, and all the little spookies are gearing up for trick-or-treating! This week on SPML, we're diving into Children's Horror, sharing some of our favorite spooky movies that kids and parents can enjoy together. Brad couldn't join us this week (don't worry, he'll be back!), but he did send in a list of recommendations that might actually scar a few children for life. Grab your candy buckets and settle in for some family-friendly frights... mostly.

Ep. 50 Monsterboy LIVES In the Backrooms

This week on Slumber Party Massacre Luncheon, we’re joined by Chris Long and Veronica Wirges of Monsterboy LIVES to talk music, horror, and their upcoming multimedia experience, Monsterboy LIVES: “In The Backrooms”, happening October 25th at Dedicated Visual Art Studio in North Little Rock! Drawing inspiration from the novel A Cosmology of Monsters, this thing goes way beyond a regular concert, featuring live circus performers, macabre visuals, and music built to drag you somewhere a little darker. We get into the band, their sound, their horror influences, and what the hell audiences can expect when they step into The Backrooms. Then we turn our attention to Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, because obviously we can't have a horror-themed luncheon without talking about some good old-fashioned hillbilly mayhem. It's music, monsters, horror movies, and a whole lot of weirdness with the folks bringing it all to life. Catch Monsterboy LIVES: “In The Backrooms” on October 25th at Dedicated Visual Art Studio in North Little Rock!

Then the crew puts their horror knowledge to the test with some trivia. Another round of horror talk and nonsense on Slumber Party Massacre Luncheon!

Ep 48 Back in the Saddle...Sort of

Back in the saddle… sort of. SPML is back, but nobody said anything about actually being productive. This time around, we’re just f*****g around, talking shit, and letting the conversation go wherever the hell it wants. No big agenda, no homework—just the Review Crew back together and doing what they do best.

Ep. 47 Horror Hangout W/ Chase (Tripped Out and Crazy)

Chaweenie from TOAC joins SPML for a good old-fashioned horror hangout. We dig into his history with horror, the movies that shaped his taste, and what he’s been loving lately. From old favorites to recent obsessions, we get into the stuff that scares him, sticks with him, and keeps him coming back for more.

Ep. 46 Review Crew - Infinity Pool

The SPML Review Crew has assembled, and we have a motherfucking doozy today. On this episode, we dive headfirst into Brandon Cronenberg’s Infinity Pool—a filthy, f****d-up descent into privilege, identity, violence, and just how far you’re willing to go when consequences stop meaning anything. Things get weird. Things get nasty. And, naturally, the Review Crew has some shit to say about it.

Ep. 45 Vacation Horror - An Oddly Broad yet Specific Genre

Pack your bags, lock up the house, and whatever you do, don’t trust the locals! This week on Slumber Party Massacre Luncheon, the SPML crew is heading out on vacation… unfortunately, so are the monsters, killers, cults, and assorted horrors waiting to ruin the trip. We’re diving into horror movies centered around vacations, from family getaways gone horribly wrong to dream destinations that turn into absolute nightmares. Because apparently, all-inclusive doesn’t include survival. Grab your sunscreen, your emotional-support weapon, and your sense of dread—it’s time for Vacation Horror!

    Ep. 44 Review Crew - Troll 2

The SPML review crew is back, and Brad, Shea, and Rob are heading straight into one of the most gloriously bizarre disasters ever committed to film: 1990’s Troll 2. The crew digs into the movie’s bizarre story, unforgettable performances, questionable costumes, horrifying food, and the strange legacy that turned this infamous flop into a cult classic. How bad is it really? How did this thing become legendary?
