Ever bumped into cool colivers and thought, “Hey, why not start a podcast?” That’s exactly what Sole and Ramon thought when they met Cesar at Alpiness Coliving in July 2023. One fine day, while hiking, the idea of a podcast for Mapmelon sprang up. A few chuckles and brainstorming sessions later, the outline of ‘Colivers Club’ began to doodle itself. Weeks rolled by and Cesar, took the lead. And voila! Colivers Club Podcast was no longer just a fun banter among pals, but a go-to hub for every coliver with a question or a story to share. And the rest, as they say, is podcast history

Colivers Club Ep 30: Building a Sustainable Nomad Community in Palermo with Marco and Federico from Italia Nomad Fest

Can digital nomads help cities move beyond mass tourism and build stronger local communities? Marco Trainer Alfieri and Federico share the story behind Italian Nomad Fest, a week-long gathering in Palermo that brought together 100+ nomads and locals through talks, workshops, food, culture, and parties. We explore how Palermo is embracing digital nomads as “temporary citizens” who stay longer, connect with locals, and contribute to the local economy—not simply consume the city. Marco shares his perspective as a local and his work connecting the nomad community with the municipality, while Federico reflects on the unexpected personal and professional opportunities that come from a nomadic lifestyle. From getting the city and public institutions involved to creating meaningful events, building projects through friendships, and turning Palermo into a place where nomads can genuinely belong, this episode is all about community, sustainable tourism, and creating bridges between locals and travelers. And with Italian Nomad Fest returning, could Palermo become your next home away from home? 🌍☀️ #coliving #community #digitalnomad #remotework #colivingcommunity #Palermo #SustainableTourism #NomadLife #DigitalNomads #ItalianNomadFest #TemporaryCitizens #ColiversClub

Colivers Club Ep 29: Why Build a Coliving Around Play Instead of Productivity? with Anya, Fidel & Aleix from Wonder House

What happens when three burned-out tech professionals decide to stop optimizing for work and start designing for wonder? In this episode of Colivers Club, César Alberca visits Wonder House, a unique coliving hidden in the Catalan mountains where themed weeks, community rituals, costumes, escape rooms, and playful experiences take center stage. Together with founders Anya, Fidel, and Aleix, we explore how they transformed their love for creativity, experience design, and human connection into a coliving that feels more like an adventure than a workspace. From “toxic masculinity week” and zombie escape rooms to spa-themed rituals and Burning Man-inspired community building, they share how intentional play can create deeper friendships, stronger communities, and unforgettable memories. They also discuss the challenge of attracting the right people, staying authentic while running a business, and why their goal isn’t to build a company, but a lifestyle. Can a coliving be a place where curiosity matters more than productivity and where community is built through shared experiences rather than networking? ✨ What kind of themed week would you create for your dream coliving? #coliving #community #digitalnomad #remotework #colivingcommunity #experiencedesign #burningman #intentionalcommunity #playfulness #communitybuilding #wonderhouse #coliversclub

Colivers Club Ep 28: Can We Build 3 Million Nomad Communities? 🌍 With Pelé Philipp Alexander Weber

What if every village in the world hosted its own mini “Nomad Fest”? In this episode, César sits down with Pelé Philipp Alexander Weber to explore a bold vision: creating millions of spaces where people come together to share ideas, grow, and truly connect. From his roots in Switzerland running transformative summer camps to co-owning and expanding Nomad Fest, Pelé shares how gatherings, unconferences, and co-living experiences can empower individuals far beyond traditional education. He reflects on the magic of in-person connection in a hyper-digital world, the rise of solopreneurs, and why community might be the antidote to loneliness and dopamine-driven lifestyles. They dive into: • The power of unconferences and peer-to-peer learning • Why digital nomads thrive on real-life connection • How co-living can evolve through crowdfunding and shared ownership • The vision behind projects like Nomad Fest, Nomad Summit, and Spark Connect • Why the future belongs to communities, not just companies This episode is a reminder that the most meaningful transformations often happen when strangers come together—and leave as something more. Colivers Club Ep 27: Building Inner Safety While Living on the Move with Suze McLean-Pont

What if the freedom we’re searching for isn’t out there, but inside us? In this deeply honest and moving episode of Colivers Club, César sits down with Suze McLean-Pont—trauma therapist, speaking coach, former sailor, and self-described shipbuilder for the soul. Recorded during Nomad Base in Tarifa, the conversation flows between the sea, coliving, trauma, and what it really means to feel safe in life. Suze shares powerful stories from sailing tall ships across oceans, losing everything (more than once), motherhood as a radical turning point, and how developmental trauma shapes the way we show up in communities, relationships, business, and on stage. Together, they explore striking parallels between life at sea and coliving: shared responsibility, emotional triggers, commitment, and the idea of a “vessel” that holds us. From digital nomadism and escapism to nervous system regulation, spirituality, and authentic speaking, this episode invites you to reflect on one big question: 👉 Are you choosing this life freely—or running from something? How would your coliving experience, your work, or your relationships change if you felt truly safe within yourself? 🌊⛵️ #coliving #community #digitalnomad #remotework #colivingcommunity #traumahealing #personalgrowth #nervoussystem #authenticliving #coliversclub

Colivers Club Ep 26: Coliving Retreats and building Authentic Connections

What happens when a digital nomad turns her passion for connection into a business that bridges worlds? 🌍 In this episode, César chats with Marie Tuason, a Filipina entrepreneur and marketer based in Valencia who’s redefining how remote workers experience travel through Kaya Connections — co-creation retreats that blend work, wellness, and authentic cultural immersion. Marie shares her eight-year journey across Europe and beyond, from engineering to marketing to running retreats in the Philippines and Ecuador. She opens up about navigating visas and identity, the privilege of mobility, and how nomads can build communities that respect and include locals. We also dive into her views on burnout, “monk mode,” and why meaningful work-life balance happens in seasons — not days. Whether you’re building a co-living, planning a retreat, or simply seeking purpose in movement, this episode offers grounded insights and inspiration for intentional nomadism.
