20 Episodes, Two Women & Absolutely No Lessons Learned

🎙️ 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟮𝟬: 𝟮𝟬 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗦, 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡 & 𝗔𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗗 🥳 𝗪𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝟮𝟬! Twenty episodes. Two women. Hundreds of conversations. Several biscuits. Numerous seagulls. One foul-mouthed parrot. Two men missing in edible underwear. A suspicious number of Martins… and absolutely no satisfactory explanation for what’s been going on in Bromyard. Yes, somehow 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘆 has reached Episode 20 and to celebrate, Kerry and Pauline are rummaging through the first 19 episodes to revisit some of the stories, characters and complete nonsense that got them here. Did they know what they were doing when they started? Absolutely not. Do they know what they’re doing now? Also absolutely not. But they’re having a lovely time. 😂 🩲 𝗚𝗘𝗢𝗙𝗙, 𝗧𝗘𝗗 & 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗔 Some stories simply refuse to die. And then there’s Geoff and Ted. What began with Geoff from Belmont and an unfortunate history involving budgie smugglers somehow escalated into CCTV in the toilet, an unhappy vicar, long-suffering Sandra and eventually… 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿. Cheese and onion pants, anyone? 🤢 Things got even worse when Geoff and Ted disappeared into the Black Mountains with their survival pants, prompting the arrival of survival expert Steve Chance, who was very focused on the rescue but slightly less focused on remembering Pauline’s name. Apparently, she’s Alan now. The whole saga is finally honoured with the prestigious 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗳𝗳 & 𝗧𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀. They’re not actually dead. We don’t think. 🤦‍♀️ 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦, 𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗦 & 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗬 𝗪𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 Why do simple things become major operations when Pauline and Kerry are involved? There’s the time Pauline became trapped underneath a mattress and contemplated the possibility of being discovered weeks later. Pauline also recalls her cinema disasters, falling asleep and snoring through films, plus the slight problem of looking directly at an eclipse 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀. Then there’s Lakefest’s infamous 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹, a television reflection featuring an unexpected woman in a dressing gown, and the still very raw trauma of… 🖨️ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥. Yes, Episode 19’s printer rage is alive and well. Poor Terry. 🦜 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗦, 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗦 & 𝗦𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘-𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦 No Herefordshire Hearsay retrospective would be complete without the animals. There’s Percy, the African Grey parrot who escaped and flew around the neighbourhood shouting “Bugger off!” in a remarkably convincing voice. Then there are Pauline’s beloved seagulls, Ralph and Squeak, with Squeak now banging on windows for attention and enjoying a diet that apparently includes fish fingers. And who could forget Grant the guide dog, who had his own ideas about the correct route and regularly took Pervez to Greggs for a sausage roll, whether Pervez wanted one or not. Guide dog? More like 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗴. 🥐 👽 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗬𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗 Ah, Bromyard. A place where apparently nobody would be particularly surprised to see an alien wandering down the High Street. The ladies revisit Doug’s extra-terrestrial encounters, including a red-eyed alien carrying a Tesco bag, suspicious cashpoint activity, crop circles, a farmer with an entrepreneurial streak and some naked dancing that caused considerable concern to one local resident. And if aliens really did land in Herefordshire, who should make first contact? There’s only one sensible answer. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻. 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀. Humanity is safe. Probably. 🍪 𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗦, 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗦 & 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 Food has played an alarmingly large role in the first 20 episodes. There have been pies, chips, breakfasts, kebabs, donuts, cake and, of course… 𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗦. Darren remains a champion double-dunker. Dale remains the man who has 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁. And Pauline reveals the food combination she simply cannot forgive: 🍳 Eggs. 🫘 Beans. 🚫 TOUCHING EACH OTHER. Apparently they shouldn’t merely be separated. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲. Meanwhile, a Jaffa Cake gets lodged somewhere it shouldn’t, and a batch of Christmas mince pies removes virtually all available moisture from the human mouth. Delicious. 🤪 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦, 𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗦 & 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧 The English language has taken quite a battering over the last 19 episodes. Kerry has developed the remarkable ability to invent a completely new word and then simply carry on talking as though nothing happened. And so we celebrate some Hearsay classics: 👉 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 👉 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱 👉 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 We even finally establish the official definition of a Numpolian: “A small but surprisingly confident person who may or may not have invaded France.” Makes perfect sense to us. 💨 𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗬, 𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗢𝗠 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗦 & 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗-𝗧𝗛𝗘-𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗢𝗦 Recording a podcast in a kitchen comes with certain hazards. Phones ring. People turn up. Seagulls attack windows. And sometimes a large dog called Buddy wanders around farting while you’re trying to record. The important thing is to establish very quickly that 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 🥸 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗦, 𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 & 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗛𝗘𝗠 Kerry and Pauline have also somehow become undercover investigators. Their Peterstow surveillance operation is revisited, along with those extremely convincing disguises. Then there’s the murder mystery and the unfortunate incident involving Tammy’s stick-on moustache. Pauline applied it. Upside down. And temporarily stuck Tammy’s lips together. Professional undercover operatives at work. ❤️ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗘 Behind all the madness, this episode also celebrates something that has become a huge part of Herefordshire Hearsay — 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. From Mac McDonald and his unforgettable hat to the many Martins, Butter Market traders, neighbours, fishermen, friends, family members, followers and unsuspecting members of the public who have suddenly found a microphone pointed in their direction. There are also the brilliant people who’ve played characters in the stories, including Steve Chance, Doug and a particularly outraged observer of naked crop-circle dancing. Some knew they were going to be involved. Others… possibly less so. 😂 But they’ve all helped turn Herefordshire Hearsay into what it is. And Kerry and Pauline have discovered that once you stop and actually talk to people, Herefordshire is absolutely bursting with characters and stories. 🥂 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗦, 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 & 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝟮𝟬 So what happens next? Will they finally interview an alien? Will Geoff and Ted return? Will

Printer Rage, Accidental Love & Sidewalk Shuffles

🎙️ 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟭𝟵: 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘, 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 & 𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗦𝗛𝗨𝗙𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗦 Welcome back to 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘆 – the podcast where everyday life in Herefordshire somehow turns into printer warfare, accidental declarations of love, naked tennis and two women getting unnecessarily angry about people who can’t walk in a straight line. 😂 This time, Kerry and Pauline are tackling some of life’s great unanswered questions… Why are printers apparently designed by people who hate us? Why can two perfectly functioning adults suddenly lose the ability to walk when approaching each other on a pavement? And just how do you recover after accidentally telling your estate agent – or your brand-new employee – that you love them? Spoiler alert: 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀. 🤣 🖨️ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟 Pauline bought a new printer. It promised to be easy to set up. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁. What follows is approximately ten hours of instructions, internet connections, disconnections, blank pieces of paper, helpful friends, IT expertise and an increasingly furious Pauline threatening to launch the offending machine up the garden. 😂 Even Amazon’s perfectly reasonable troubleshooting suggestions eventually receive the verbal equivalent of 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗘. But there is some good news – Terry comes to the rescue, a replacement is firmly refused, and Pauline discovers she is far from alone in owning a printer that appears to have absolutely no interest in printing anything. Technology: making our lives easier since… apparently never. 🖨️🔥 🎪 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘! Thankfully, it hasn’t all been printer-induced fury. The Lakefesters got back together for a reunion involving food, laughter, memories and plenty of ideas about how Lakefest could be improved next year. Whether Lakefest actually wants these suggestions is another matter entirely. 😂 Plans are already forming for a proper camp next year, when everyone will return older, wiser and looking, in Pauline and Kerry’s words, like 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵. Festival chic. ✨ 🚶‍♀️ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗦𝗛𝗨𝗙𝗙𝗟𝗘 You’re walking towards somebody. You move left. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 move left. You move right. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 move right. Suddenly two grown adults are performing an unplanned dance routine in the middle of the pavement. Welcome to 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲. 💃🕺 Kerry and Pauline investigate this strangely universal phenomenon and discover that Pauline has spent years blaming other people for wandering into her personal space… only to face the horrifying possibility that 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺. 😳 Meanwhile, Emma has developed her own solution: if the shuffle starts looking like a dance, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴. And Christine? Well, apparently the rules change completely if the person approaching happens to be a handsome man. Then it’s less “avoid collision” and more “𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.” 😂 🎤 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗢𝗞𝗘: 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗘 There are people who can sing. There are people who can’t sing. And then there are people who can’t sing but appear to believe they are 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮, 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 rolled into one. Kerry has recently endured the latter. At volume. 😬 Cue a discussion about terrible karaoke, questionable singing ability and the relatives of hopeless talent-show contestants who stand backstage enthusiastically declaring, “They’re amazing!” 𝗡𝗼. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁. Sometimes love means telling somebody to put the microphone down. 🎤😂 ❤️ 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨, 𝗕𝗬𝗘!… 𝗢𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗗 Have you ever ended a phone conversation and accidentally said: “𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗯𝘆𝗲!” …to somebody you absolutely, categorically, 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲? Emma has. Unfortunately, it was her 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁. 🏠❤️ Her desperate attempt to recover with “I love the work you’re doing” doesn’t exactly help matters, and now every phone call comes with the inevitable question: 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀? Emma’s response? She will be 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲. 🤣 💘 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦 “𝗜 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨” Christine manages to take things one step further. She interviews somebody. Offers them the job. Sorts out what happens next. Then ends the call with: “𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆, 𝗯𝘆𝗲, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.” 😳 Cue several weeks of Christine replaying the conversation in her head before eventually explaining herself to her new employee… who claimed not to have noticed. Which would have been fine. Except Christine had now explained the entire thing to them, meaning they 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 noticed. 😂 Nothing says “welcome to the team” quite like an accidental declaration of love from your new boss. 🥸 𝗔 𝗛𝗔𝗧, 𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘 & 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗘 Another murder mystery in Kat’s garden means costumes, characters and the important question of what everyone should wear. When Tammy asks about her attire, the suggestion is simple: A hat. A moustache. Apparently Tammy was expecting 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲. 😂 And that, naturally, leads straight into… 🍑 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦: 𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗦 𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 A naturist club in the Forest of Dean has caught Kerry and Pauline’s attention. Not enough to actually go there, obviously. The discussion quickly turns to brambles, naked cooking, bare bottoms on chairs and the inexplicable popularity of playing tennis while wearing absolutely nothing. After their previous undercover surveillance adventures, could this be the next Herefordshire Hearsay investigation? 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁. The binoculars are staying firmly at home. 🔭😂 📉 𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝗟𝗢𝗪, 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗 Could the secret to happiness simply be… 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Pauline and Kerry think there might be something in it. Expect nothing and anything remotely decent becomes a lovely surprise! This leads to birthdays, disappointing gifts, people who don’t turn up when they say they will and, inevitably, Pauline’s adventures in online dating. There’s the perfectly lovely gentleman who travelled a long way for their date and brought chocolates… …but turned out to be considerably shorter than expected. And, of course, we revisit the gentleman with the ponytail – along with that all-important dating consideration: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝗿𝘂𝗽. 😳😂 High hopes indeed. 🏆 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧-𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘! A big shout-out goes to Terry, who not only bravely entered the battlefield against Pauline’s printer but is also doing some brilliant work as a squash coach at 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯. 🎾 The club is supporting

Bacon Butties, Beards & Beam Me Up!

🎙️ 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟭𝟴 – 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦, 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 & 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗠𝗘 𝗨𝗣! 🥓🧔‍♂️🖖 Strap yourselves in, Hearsayers, because Pauline and Kerry are back with another glorious half-hour of Herefordshire chat, questionable observations and conversations that wander off in directions even 𝘄𝗲 didn’t see coming. This time we’re tackling the important issues of the day: 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗸, undercover gardening operations and a seagull who appears to have discovered public transport. Yes. It’s another perfectly normal episode of Herefordshire Hearsay. 😂 😂 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗞𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗣 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 & 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 It’s been a frantic couple of weeks, but Kerry did manage to escape to The Amp to see comedy legend Jasper Carrott. Unfortunately, a text-message typo turned his famous “Funky Moped” into 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗞𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗣 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗 — and frankly, we may never recover. There’s also chat about Ricky Gervais, The Office, comedy, swearing, Elkie Brooks and a lovely shout-out to the brilliant volunteers at The Amp. 🥓 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗘 It’s Bacon Day, so naturally Kerry has conducted some extremely important culinary research. But forget the bacon for a moment. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻? A batch? A cob? A roll? A bap? A butty? A teacake?! A 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗞𝗘?! 😳 And then comes the question capable of dividing families, destroying friendships and bringing Britain to its knees… 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗢? 🔴🟤 Kerry has very definite views. Pauline, being vegetarian, is slightly less emotionally invested in the bacon. 🧔‍♂️ 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦, 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗕𝗕𝗟𝗘 & 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗚𝗘 It’s time to talk 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦! Pauline has been roaming the streets of Hereford asking unsuspecting local men about their facial hair. First up is taxi driver 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻, who explains why he’s happy with a bit of stubble but won’t be cultivating a magnificent flowing beard anytime soon. Apparently, finding remnants of your lunch in it may be something of a drawback. 🤢 Then we collar 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻, whose family has been blessed with excellent hair on top but considerably less enthusiasm from the follicles further south. Which inevitably leads to a discussion about… 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗬𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦. 😬 Pauline reveals that one such hairstyle once brought a promising blind date to a spectacularly abrupt end. The poor man never stood a chance. 🧔 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦 Did you know a beard was once considered a sign of intellect, wisdom and status in Ancient Greece? Then fashions changed, razors came out, Victorians got involved and eventually we arrived at the 2010s hipster beard. We also ponder whether some men grow beards because they don’t like their chins. Or possibly 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝘀. 😂 🖖 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗨𝗦 𝗨𝗣, 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥! With Star Trek Day providing the perfect excuse, we boldly go where Herefordshire Hearsay hasn’t gone before. There’s Captain Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Scotty, Bones, Chekov and Sulu, plus memories of Lost in Space and its wonderfully clunky robot. We discover that “Beam me up, Scotty” apparently wasn’t actually said by Captain Kirk, attempt the Vulcan salute and establish that Kerry would happily attend a Star Trek convention dressed as… 𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗕𝗟𝗘. Obviously. 😂 ❤️ 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗬 We take a quieter moment to remember Dolly Parton and reflect on her extraordinary life, music, generosity and the many causes she supported. From Islands in the Stream and I Will Always Love You to her work helping children and supporting medical research, we celebrate a remarkable woman who used her success to help others. ❤️ 🔎 𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥, 𝗠𝗢𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗥 & 𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗬 There’s another Murder Mystery Night coming up at Kat and Woody’s beautiful garden! This year, things revolve around the launch of a brand-new 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. What could possibly go wrong? Well… there is the small matter of a 𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥. 🔪😱 Tickets are limited, so listen in for the details if you fancy an evening of mystery, food, fun and suspicious moisturising. 🦷 𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗡 – 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥 Pauline discovers that Aaron at her dentist is a Herefordshire Hearsay listener! Not only does he remember the podcast, 𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝗹. 🥰 So Aaron gets a thoroughly deserved shout-out for being a brilliant receptionist, a calming presence in the dental chair and, most importantly, a man of impeccable podcast taste. 🕵️‍♀️ 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗪: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗦 The mysterious 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 of Peterstow remains at large. So naturally Pauline and Kerry have gone 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥. Unfortunately, their surveillance operation may have been slightly compromised by questionable disguises, a wonky moustache, an oversized hat and the fact they’d already mentioned their intentions on the podcast. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹: 𝟬. 😂 But they suspect people in Peterstow know more than they’re letting on… The investigation continues. 👀🌱 🐦 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗔𝗞: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗥-𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗟 Remember Squeak? Well, the little chap is growing up and nearly ready to head off into the big wide world. But not before discovering a new hobby: 𝗖𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗚. 🚗🐦 Pauline hears a mysterious banging from her car, assumes something has gone horribly wrong and arrives home to discover Squeak has been riding 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗙. He then hops down and heads towards the front door as if to say: “𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮?” 😂 And apparently he’s now trying the same trick with the neighbours. 🦆 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗞𝗦! The 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 is back! Hundreds of little yellow ducks take to the River Wye while families line the riverbank desperately trying to work out whether the tiny yellow blob in front is actually theirs. Spoiler alert: 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗲. 😂🦆 A huge shout-out goes to everyone at Hereford City Rotary Clubs, the local businesses supporting the event and everyone who bought a ticket. 👏 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧-𝗢𝗨𝗧! This episode’s Shire Shout-Out goes to the brilliant 𝗖𝗥𝗚 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 staff at The Amp, who were friendly, welcoming and helped make the event such an enjoyable experience. And there’s more praise for the fantastic team at Lakefest, where cheerful wristband checks apparently involved plenty of dancing, singing and good vibes. Exactly how we like it! 🙌 🎧 𝗦𝗢… 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗕 𝗔 𝗖𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡 𝗨𝗦! Episode 18 has bacon debates, beard investigations, Star Trek memories, bald-headed dating disasters, murder mysteries, undercover operations, rogue gardeners, racing ducks and a seagull using Pauline’s car as his own personal Uber. And somehow we fit it all into one episode. 🎙️ 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗘

Damp Squids, Pinheads & Granny Squares

🎙️ 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟭𝟳: 𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗦, 𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 & 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗬 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 Welcome back to another gloriously unfiltered episode of 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘆 – where sensible conversation comes to die, random facts are enthusiastically discussed and words occasionally emerge that have never before existed in the English language. 😂 This time we're recovering from the absolute mayhem of Lakefest, risking our eyesight during a solar eclipse, celebrating left-handers, wondering where all our brain cells have gone, discussing suspicious cats, discovering the surprisingly complicated world of granny squares and celebrating the friendships that spring up when people get together and have a laugh. Oh… and we meet Num𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻. No, we hadn't heard of him either. 🤣 🎪 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧: 𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗟 & 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗭𝗘 𝗦𝗠𝗨𝗚𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗦 What. A. Week. 😳 We kick things off with our adventures volunteering at 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 – five days, two gates, 21 brilliant volunteers, scorching temperatures and one enormous hill that appeared to have been designed specifically to finish us off. Walking down it? Fine. Walking back up it? 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦 𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗪𝗔𝗬? 🥵🤣 We discover that people who stop halfway up to admire the “lovely view” are actually saying, “I can't breathe and if I take another step I may die.” There's dust, mini tornadoes, moisturiser-related disasters, giant ice creams, bananas, sunflowers and some very inventive attempts to smuggle booze through security. 🍺🍦🍌 One unfortunate festival-goer even gets publicly congratulated when security discovers his hidden alcohol. 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘, 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗘. 😳😂 And after several exhausting days, things get so bad that makeup is very nearly removed with 𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿. Possibly taking the eyeball with it. Next year we're taking a caravan. 😂 🌒 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗦𝗘 Apparently there are special glasses for watching a solar eclipse. Who knew? 👀 Instead, we investigate alternative viewing methods before somebody does the one thing you're absolutely not supposed to do… 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗡. ☀️😳 Cue temporary splodges, mysterious shapes appearing around the garden and a period of pretending everything is absolutely fine when you can't actually see properly. We also hear how ancient tribes allegedly used their knowledge of eclipses to convince other people they could make the sun disappear – which, frankly, is some impressively advanced marketing. After all the excitement, the verdict on the eclipse? 𝗔 𝗕𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗗. 🦑 Yes. Squid. We're sticking with it. ✋ NU𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗢𝗡 & 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧-𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗦 It's been 𝗟𝗲𝗳𝘁-𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, so we're celebrating the creative geniuses who apparently favour their left hand. Albert Einstein. Leonardo da Vinci. Paul McCartney. Julius Caesar. And, of course… NUMP𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗢𝗡 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘. 🤣🤣🤣 Napoleon has officially been renamed. We also discover that kangaroos tend to favour their left paws and around 90% of parrots apparently use their left foot to pick things up. 🦘🦜 Educational content? On this podcast? Steady on. 🧠 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗡𝗘? We return to the subject of brain cells and ask what actually makes somebody intelligent. Is it education? Genetics? Life experience? Emotional intelligence? The ability to retain endless trivia? Or is the brain basically an overloaded computer that occasionally needs to 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲? 💻🧠 Our theory is that as you get older, you haven't necessarily forgotten everything – you've just got a much bigger library to search through. Unfortunately, sometimes the librarian appears to have gone for lunch. The conversation then takes the entirely natural scientific leap from intelligence to… 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘. 😂 Festival bucket hats reveal that there may be several members of the 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 among us. And there's even a perfectly reasonable explanation for headaches: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 🤯 🐈 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗦: 𝗝𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟, 𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧 & 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗬 𝗧𝗪𝗢-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨 Are you a cat person or a dog person? We're firmly leaning towards dogs. Dogs look at you and you know roughly what's going on. Cats look at you as though they're reviewing your performance and will be submitting their findings to management. 😾 One minute they're being affectionate. The next? 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗖𝗞. 🐾 We discuss the mysterious cat spotted attending Lakefest in a pram, cats supposedly absorbing negative energy and the story of 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗶, the resident cat from The Falcon Hotel in Bromyard, who disappeared before eventually being found eight miles away. Then there's Bear – a cat who appears to have discovered the ultimate cost-of-living hack by simply living with several different families and eating dinner at all of them. 😂 Forget nine lives. This one had multiple mortgages. 🧶 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗬 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦: 𝗡𝗢 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 It's 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆! Which sounds considerably more exciting once you discover the names of the crochet patterns. There's the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆. The 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆. And, our particular favourite… 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗 𝗡𝗢-𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗬. 🧶🤣 Apparently there are beginner, intermediate and advanced levels to granny squares – something we were blissfully unaware of until now. We also ponder the ultimate fate of the lovingly crocheted blanket that somebody has spent months making for you. You admire it. You thank them. You treasure it. Then eventually… 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗜𝗧. 🐕😂 Granny Square Day has officially entered our brains… …and immediately cleared the cache. 💬 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗣 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 & 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗚 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗦 Among all the silliness, there's something rather lovely about this episode too. ❤️ Our Lakefest WhatsApp group brought together people who didn't necessarily know one another beforehand, and over five days of working, laughing, sharing photos and surviving Hamburger Hill together, genuine new friendships were formed. And that leads us nicely to one of our fantastic listeners, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸, and his carp-fishing gang, the 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀. 🎣 Started in 2019, the group has brought together men and women with a shared passion for carp fishing – but it's about far more than catching fish. They're a community, they organise trips together, share tactics, help one another out and even have their own merchandise. 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬'𝗩𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗘. We really need to get our finger out. 🤣 Best of all, Mark listens to 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘆 while he's out fishing. So Mark and the Snagg Warriors – this one's for you! 🎣🎧❤️ 🎭 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗘: 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 & 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗞-𝗔𝗡𝗗-𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 Finally, we're back out and about around Herefordshire. ❤

    Skydives, Stories and Summer Solstice

🎙️ Herefordshire Hearsay – Episode 13 🚲 Skydives, Stories and Summer Solstice ☀️ Buckle up (or perhaps strap on a parachute!) because Episode 13 takes us from the skies above Swansea to mysterious crop circles in rural Herefordshire, with a few giraffes, bicycles and builders thrown in for good measure. Here's what's coming up... 🪂 Taking the Plunge! Kerry heads to Swansea Airport to support a charity skydive and discovers that jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane might actually be quite addictive! We hear about nervous jumpers, incredible views and a fundraising total that left everyone smiling. Would you do a skydive? We’re still not entirely convinced... 🦆 Come Dine with Pauline A candlelit dinner sparks memories of one of Pauline's most memorable culinary disasters involving duck fillets that mysteriously transformed into something resembling conkers! The conversation turns to entertaining friends, dinner parties and why good company is often more important than good cooking. 🚲 National Bike Week (A Bit Late!) We may have missed National Bike Week by a few days, but that doesn't stop us chatting about childhood cycling adventures, scraped knees, bike proficiency tests and those ever-popular Beryl Bikes that seem to appear in the strangest places. Plus, we celebrate some fantastic local cycling initiatives. 😂 Tongue Twisters & Barry from Watford A simple mention of a bicycle museum sends the conversation spectacularly off course and into the wonderfully bizarre world of Barry from Watford and Clinton Baptiste. Expect laughter, dodgy impressions and plenty of confusion along the way. 🏡 Pauline's Patio Project Pauline's garden makeover continues as she introduces two local tradesmen who have transformed her patio area. We chat bricklaying, landscaping, learning new skills and why finding reliable local tradespeople is worth celebrating. 🦒 World Giraffe Day Why is World Giraffe Day celebrated on the Summer Solstice? We investigate some surprisingly fascinating giraffe facts, including lightning strikes, giant eyelashes and why baby giraffes have a rather dramatic entrance into the world! ✈️ Shobdon Airfest Adventures A trip to Shobdon Airfest brings vintage aircraft, wartime history, classic motorbikes and a catch-up with an old police colleague. There's even a beautiful 1951 motorbike making an appearance. ✍️ National Writing Day Pauline shares her love of writing and reveals how some of her stories seem to write themselves. From creative writing courses to murder mysteries and mysterious characters who wander off the page, it's a fascinating glimpse into the creative process. 🌞 Summer Solstice Shenanigans Things take a decidedly strange turn when reports emerge of a mysterious Summer Solstice gathering near Stoke Lacey. There are crop circles. There are rumours. There may be aliens. And apparently, clothing is optional.
