I saved you a seat at the table. Here, we do not tear others down. Instead, we are building a sisterhood. A community of God’s women where shame and guilt have no place. Not because of anything you or I have done, but because of everything that Jesus did. Jesus died for you and me. He also rose from the dead for you and me. That’s what the Good News is all about. 08: Choosing Forgiveness Over Bitterness

Welcome to Spill the Christ Tea!  Have you ever struggled with forgiveness?  Are you in that place now?  It’s easy to get tangled up in the triangle of repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation.  In today’s episode, we will be diving into a lot of scripture and focusing on forgiveness. Today’s discussion will cover: → If forgiveness is a choice, how do we choose it? → What matters more, their apology or your healing? → Is the gospel still just as relevant today as it was then? Forgiveness in the Bible - remember, this is not a complete list.  I encourage you to go to your concordance in the back of your Bible and find the words “forgive” and “forgiveness” and it will provide the book, chapter, and verses where you can find out more about what scripture says about forgiveness.  Look at the context, read the entire chapter or book the verse is in, take it to God and meditate on it. 01: How My Dirty Laundry Became My Testimony

Welcome to Spill the Christ Tea!  Have you ever looked back on your life and the choices you’ve made and felt like redemption has no place in your story?  Or maybe you’ve looked to the world and let them make that decision for you?  Well, in this episode, I share a part of my testimony where I check both of these boxes (and more).  Why are we starting here?  Good question, because it definitely wasn’t my first choice.  God called me to step out of my comfort zone and lay down my fears so His light can shine.  “He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30 My hope is that when you finish this episode, you see God’s hand in your story more than you did before and you feel encouraged to share the good news with someone. To all listeners, I ask that you extend grace.  Not only is this my first podcast experience, but it’s also a vulnerable one.  I look forward to building a community of God’s women with each of you, where shame and guilt have no place at the table.
