A Bottle and a Vinyl is a podcast hosted by Marco and Enett Jaimez.     Episode 8: Llueve, Frontera, and Sea by Jorge Drexler

    In this episode of A Bottle and a Vinyl, Enett and Marco sit down to discuss three vinyl records by an artist they admire for his poetic lyrics, philosophical ideas, and musings that often feel rooted in transcendental or deeply reflective experiences.    The artist is Uruguayan singer and songwriter Jorge Drexler, and his albums Llueve, Frontera, and Sea explore themes of romantic introspection, migration, and intimacy through musical styles that range from acoustic guitar and folk roots to groove-based arrangements.     Episode 7: The Stranger by Billy Joel

    Billy Joel's 1977 album, The Stranger, is an iconic recording that seems built around Joel's raconteur style. This collection of songs is a masterclass in songwriting.  In the cinematic journey that is "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant", he gives his audience a window into the story of a couple who had it all, only to end up separated after some difficult trials.     Leon Bridges' self-titled 2024 release is a retrospective collection of songs reflecting on his upbringing in Texas. Leon revisits old neighborhoods, border town experiences and songs about unconditional love.     Episode 3: Private Space by Durand Jones and the Indications
