Katia’s Story | From Performance to Presence

Send us Fan Mail What happens when following God begins to feel more like performing for Him? In this deeply personal testimony, Sister Katia shares her journey from fear, striving, and performance into a growing understanding of what it means to simply live in the presence of God. Growing up in Mauritius, Katia was creative, outspoken, and deeply sensitive to the world around her. But beneath that creativity were fears, expectations, and pressures that would shape much of her early walk with God. After encountering Jesus as a teenager, her passion for Him was real—but over time, faith could become intertwined with proving herself, doing enough, and trying to become who she thought she was supposed to be. Through seasons of growth, surrender, worship, creativity, and refinement, the Lord began teaching Katia something different: His presence was never something she had to earn. This conversation is about identity, surrender, spiritual performance, and the freedom that comes when our relationship with Jesus stops being about what we can accomplish for Him and becomes rooted in simply knowing Him. For the woman who feels she must always be stronger, better, more spiritual, or more accomplished to be accepted, Katia’s testimony is a reminder: You were never created to perform your way into the presence of God. You were invited to abide there. 🎙️ Nineveh Ninety-Nine Ministries Podcast Season 3   For Every Woman Who Feels Forgotten His Story. His Glory. Hagar | She Called Him El Roi

Send us Fan Mail Perhaps you're walking through a wilderness you never expected. A relationship has fractured. Someone else's decisions have affected your life. Or perhaps you're carrying the consequences of choices you wish you could change. In Genesis 16, we meet Hagar, an Egyptian handmaid caught in the consequences of Abram and Sarai's attempt to fulfill God's promise through human means. When Sarai deals harshly with her, Hagar flees into the wilderness. But Scripture tells us something remarkable: “And the angel of the LORD found her…” -Genesis 16:7 (KJV) There, beside a fountain, Hagar encounters the LORD and declares: “Thou God seest me.” -Genesis 16:13 (KJV) El Roi. The God who sees. But Hagar's story doesn't end there. In Genesis 21, she finds herself in the wilderness once again. This time, the water runs out. Yet the God who saw her in the first wilderness has not forgotten her in the second. And as we follow Scripture from Hagar's fountain to the well in Genesis 21, and ultimately to Jacob's well in John 4, our attention turns to Jesus Christ, the One who knows us completely and offers Living Water. In this episode, we explore God's promises, the danger of taking matters into our own hands, the consequences of sin, and the extraordinary truth that God sees, hears, and knows. Being seen by God does not mean every circumstance immediately changes. But through Jesus Christ, we can receive something far greater: forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and new life. For every woman who has ever wondered whether she has been forgotten: You are not outside His sight. You are not beyond His knowledge. And you are not beyond the reach of His grace. Come to Jesus. Scripture: Genesis 15–16; Genesis 21:8–21; John 4; Romans 5:20–6:2. Tara's Story - Already Chosen | When Jesus Heals the Need to Be Loved

Send us Fan Mail What happens when the longing to be loved slowly becomes the measure of your worth? In this deeply personal testimony, Tara shares a journey marked by rejection, broken relationships, loss, fear, and the persistent ache to be chosen. For years, experiences that wounded her also shaped how she saw herself—and even how she understood the heart of God. But the wounds are not the destination of this story. Jesus is. Through seasons of brokenness, surrender, healing, and learning to seek Him for herself, Tara began discovering that her worth was never meant to rest in another person's acceptance. Jesus was gently confronting the lies she had believed, reshaping her understanding of the Father's heart, and teaching her a truth she is still learning to receive: She was already chosen. This conversation isn't about pretending wounds don't hurt or minimizing what has been lost. It's about what happens when Jesus meets us there—and begins teaching us that rejection does not have the authority to name us. If you've ever wondered whether you're lovable, whether you're enough, or whether someone else's decision about you determines your value, Tara's testimony offers a simple invitation: Come back to Jesus. Your healing isn't ultimately found in finally being chosen by another person, but in knowing the One who already sees you, knows you, loves you, and calls you His. Questioning Your Worth | The LORD Saw Leah

Send us Fan Mail Questioning Your Worth | The LORD Saw Leah What happens when someone else’s rejection begins to shape the way you see yourself? In Genesis 29, Leah knew what it was to live in the shadow of another woman to be the wife Jacob did not love as he loved Rachel. Again and again, Leah’s own words reveal her longing to be loved. But Scripture records something that changes where we look: “And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated…”  - Genesis 29:31 The LORD saw Leah. In this episode of the Nineveh Ninety-Nine Ministries Podcast, we walk carefully through Leah’s story in Genesis 29–30: her longing, the births of her sons, the remarkable words she speaks at the birth of Judah “Now will I praise the LORD” and the larger story God was writing through a woman who knew what it meant to feel unwanted. From Leah came Judah. Through Judah came the royal line. And ultimately, through that line came Jesus Christ the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Good Shepherd who still goes after the one. If rejection, comparison, abandonment, or the ache of not being chosen has ever caused you to question your worth, Leah’s story directs our eyes somewhere greater than the approval of another person: The LORD saw Leah. And He sees you. Kendra’s Story - When Jesus Becomes Your Stronghold | Part 2

Send us Fan Mail Kendra’s Story - When Jesus Becomes Your Stronghold | Part 2 In Part 2 of Kendra’s story, the conversation moves from the brokenness of her past into the deeper work Jesus Christ has done in her heart. Kendra shares about forgiveness, learning to be still before God, discovering her identity in Christ, and what it means for Jesus to become more than someone she knows about—but her Rock, Fortress, Deliverer, and Stronghold. She reflects on the Lord’s healing work in her life, describing Jesus as the One who reaches into the deepest places and lovingly restores what has been wounded. Throughout the conversation, Kendra repeatedly returns to the Samaritan woman, the transforming power of encountering Jesus personally, and the freedom that comes when our past no longer determines who we are. This is not simply the continuation of Kendra’s testimony. It is a story of what happens when survival gives way to surrender, wounds give way to healing, and Jesus becomes the safe place where a life can finally stand. “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer… my Stronghold". -Psalm 18:2 ESV May Kendra’s testimony encourage the One who needs to know today: Your past does not have the final word. Jesus does. His Story. His Glory. Jesus is calling. Kendra’s Story — The Jesus I Never Knew | Part 1

Send us Fan Mail CONTENT ADVISORY: This episode contains mature discussions involving abuse, addiction, sexual brokenness, domestic violence, and other sensitive experiences. Portions of Kendra's testimony include graphic and explicit details that may be difficult for some listeners. Listener discretion is advised. In Part1 of Kendra's Story, we sit down with a woman willing to speak openly about some of the darkest and most painful chapters of her life, not to glorify the brokenness, but to testify to the God who never abandoned her in the midst of it. Kendra shares candidly about childhood wounds, her search for love and acceptance, addiction, destructive relationships, domestic violence, sexual brokenness, fear, grief, and seasons when her identity became entangled in places that could never truly satisfy. This is an honest conversation. At times, it is raw. But underneath the brokenness is a truth that begins to emerge again and again: God had not left Her. Kendra's past would not have the final word. Her wounds would not define the rest of her life. And the very places the enemy sought to use for destruction would eventually become part of a testimony pointing others toward Jesus Christ This is Part1 of Kendra's  Redemptive Story. Her story continues in Part 2, as the conversation turns more deeply toward healing, forgiveness, restoration, identity in Christ, and the God who became her Stronghold. The Ache of Waiting

Send us Fan Mail What do you do when you’ve prayed, trusted, hoped… and nothing seems to change? When months become years. When others celebrate the very thing you’ve been asking God for. When the prayer remains unanswered and somewhere beneath the ache comes the question: “Lord… have You forgotten me?” In The Ache of Waiting, we walk through the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1–2—a woman who knew the bitterness of longing, the pain of misunderstanding, and what it meant to pour out her soul before the LORD. But this episode is not a promise that if you wait long enough, pray hard enough, or believe strongly enough, God will eventually give you your “Samuel.” That is not the Gospel. This is an invitation to discover something deeper: your waiting is not evidence that God has forgotten you. Through Hannah’s tears, her prayer, her surrender, and ultimately her worship, we consider what it means to trust the LORD when the answer hasn’t come. Along the way, the remarkable story of Helen Keller offers a tender picture of living for a time without understanding what lies beyond the darkness. And then we come to the woman who is still waiting. The marriage hasn’t happened. The relationship hasn’t been restored. The diagnosis hasn’t changed. The child hasn’t come home. The door still hasn’t opened. Sister, Scripture does not give us permission to manufacture an ending God has not promised. But it does give us Jesus Christ. And when the answer hasn’t come... Christ is still enough. The Ache of Waiting is for the woman carrying a prayer that seems to have gone unanswered—and for the daughter, mother, sister, aunt, or friend who needs to be reminded: You have not been forgotten. Jesus is calling. The Burden That Became a Season: For Every Woman Who Feels Forgotten

Send us Fan Mail S3E1 — The Burden That Became a Season For Every Woman Who Feels Forgotten Some wounds never bleed where anyone can see them. Behind a smile may be years of heartbreak, betrayal, loneliness, grief, shame, or questions whispered into the silence: Does God see me? Has He forgotten me? Can He really heal what no one else knows is broken? In the opening episode of Season 3, Stephen shares the burden that gave birth to this season and why Nineveh Ninety-Nine Ministries is turning its attention toward women who have carried wounds quietly for far too long. This is not a season about glorifying brokenness. It is not about elevating personalities, programs, or platforms. It is about Jesus Christ. The One who drew near to the woman at the well. The One who defended the woman caught in adultery. The One who called the bleeding woman “Daughter.” The One who wept with those who mourned. And the One who still goes after the one. Season 3 will make room for courageous testimonies, difficult conversations, biblical truth, prayer, and stories of God's transforming grace—all with one purpose: Pointing every heart to JESUS CHRIST. For the woman who feels forgotten: you are loved. You are seen. And Jesus Christ is still restoring His daughters. “A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench.” — Isaiah 42:3 Nineveh Ninety-Nine Ministries — Going After the One.
