Fake Agencies and Unreported Spending w/ [redacted]

Word of the day is 'baffling', because that's what the information shared in this episode is. First, about 2% worth of Nigeria's GDP is unreported spending according to an IMF representative. Then, there's a fake agency that managed to secure ₦1.3billion in the latest national budget. The main financial management system for the country is domiciled in Estonia, and the UK is in charge of staffing the office that manages that system. Oh, and national budget details are carried around certain offices in a regular excel document. Enjoy!

The People's Debrief [AES Situation Report] w/ Prudence Iticka

Prudence Iticka is an organizer with the United African Diaspora, and the Coalition for the Elimination of Imperialism in Africa (CEIA). This episode is a debrief of her recent tour of the AES. Religion as a vector for imperialism

This episode was inspired by the diplomatic wahala that happened recently between the governments of Nigeria and the US. the government of Nigeria is once again labelled as a 'country of particular concern' by the US. This is because of the number of Christians being killed in Nigeria as a result of insurgency, and insecurity. In this episode, i breakdown the motives of the US for using this label, and i also bring in historic context to argue that 'protecting religious freedoms' is a tactic of imperial divide and rule as well as justification to invade countries around the world.

    Miscreants in Government

This episode as the title suggests, is focused in miscreant behavior in the Nigerian government. Crony capitalism and nepotism at the expense of collective development. The land worth ($3.6bn) gifted to the son of a government official is roughly equal to how much is needed to close the Nigerian housing deficit of ~20million housing units. Listen for the details.
