    [EP 26] - God's Mercy is Bigger than Our Rebellion

    What if we spent a little less time looking at ourselves and a little more time looking at God? In this episode of From Bible to Life, we're spending some time in the book of Jonah and turning our attention toward the goodness and mercy of God. We'll talk through some of what stood out to me while studying Jonah and consider what his story has to teach us about our own walk with God. Then, as always, we'll take it beyond simply knowing what Scripture says and consider what it actually looks like to live it out. Bring your Bible and join me as we keep moving from Bible to life. God calls Jonah to go to Ninevah, Jonah responds with rebellion, and flees in the other direction. But God pursues him, and Jonah repents and prays to God. And here's the best part... God calls him AGAIN! God asks him again and gives him another chance to respond after he repented of his first response. 🙌🏻 How incredible is God. So I just wanted to pass along the reminder that if God has called us to something and we've rebelled and turned away, today is a great day to repent and turn back towards God. And who knows, He just might call us again to do the same thing, or maybe He'll call us to something else and we can respond differently this time. We serve a good and merciful God.
