Ep. 12 - What happened to Space Marines? New ork releases, power of nostalgia and Total War 40k!

Seventeen Space Marine units are leaving the codex in October, and the first half of this episode is Bart and James working out what that actually means for a collection. The Legends list, the proxy rules, and which of these kits we have and have not seen come through the studio over the last two years, which turns out to be the more interesting question. After that: whether Warhammer 40,000 could ever do a WoW Classic, why the Ork codex is a softback, where you are supposed to read 40k lore, the price rise landing on September 21, the Total War: Warhammer 40,000 gameplay from Gamescom and what Bart does not like about it, StarCraft wave 2 pre-orders, the XCOM starter set backlash, and why a strong IP with weak rules still flops.
