Who Told You You Weren't Enough? | The Lie You've Carried for Years | Ep. 66

Who told you that you weren't enough? Was it something someone said when you were little? A relationship that left you questioning your worth? Or somewhere along the way, did you begin believing that being loved meant being useful, successful, needed, or perfect? What if you've spent your entire life trying to become enough for people who were never supposed to determine your worth in the first place? In Episode 66 of From Slumber to Scripture, we're talking about identity, the labels we carry, and the exhausting pressure to keep proving ourselves. For much of my life, I believed I had to achieve to be loved. I became the strong one, the fixer, the caregiver, the woman who could handle everything. But somewhere along the way, I lost sight of who I was underneath all those roles. And then Jesus began showing me something different. What if you were never meant to spend your life auditioning for love? We're digging into Scripture, sharing real-life struggles, and exploring what Jesus teaches us about our worth, surrender, and finding our identity in Him. This isn't about having everything figured out. I'm still learning, still growing, and still discovering what it means to follow Jesus. But one thing I'm learning is this:    I don't have to audition anymore. And neither do you.   ❤️ COME GROW WITH ME   Visit my website for free encouragement, identity resources, upcoming books, and our free Prayer Circle community. 🌿 https://www.fromslumbertoscripture.com   🙏 PRAY TOGETHER LIVES Join me most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 AM Pacific for prayer, encouragement, and Scripture.   ✨ NEW: ROOTED IDENTITY — REEL TALK Real conversations about identity, faith, motherhood, relationships, and the beautifully messy parts of being human. What If Confusion Is the Point? | The Bible, Paul & Satan's Little Season | Ep. 65

What if confusion is the point? Can we trust the Bible? Did Paul and Peter disagree? Are we living in Satan's little season? And if Revelation 20 describes Satan deceiving the nations, how would we even recognize deception? This week, I found myself overwhelmed with questions. I was sitting with a giant stack of Bibles, hearing conflicting claims about Scripture, the early church, and biblical history, and wondering how we're supposed to recognize truth when everyone claims to have it.   In Episode 65 of From Slumber to Scripture, I'm getting vulnerable about a week that left me genuinely confused. We're exploring: Revelation 20 and Satan's little season The Geneva Bible and its historical study notes Bible translations and claims of manipulation Questions surrounding Paul's teachings The modern American church How to develop discernment without becoming suspicious of everything I'm not a theologian. I'm a woman who came back to Jesus after nearly twenty years away, and I'm still learning, questioning, and growing. Here's what I'm discovering: We don't have to know everything to keep seeking God. And we don't have to let confusion paralyze us.   Have you ever felt overwhelmed by conflicting biblical teachings? I'd genuinely love to hear how you've navigated it.   ❤️ Join our FREE Prayer Circle community: Going Live SOON! www.fromslumbertoscripture.com 🙏 Pray Together Lives: Most Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 9:30 AM Pacific on YouTube @fromslumbertoscripture. I Was Searching for Truth… But Was I Missing Jesus? | Ep. 64

What if you know the truth, know the Bible, see the darkness in the world… but you're still missing what Jesus is trying to change in you?   For almost a year, From Slumber to Scripture has documented my search for truth. I went down the rabbit holes—ancient history, prophecy, the supernatural, Nephilim, angels, demons and the questions I needed answered after walking away from Christianity for more than 20 years. I needed to know one thing: Jesus, are You actually real? I believe that question has been answered for me. Now I'm asking a harder one:   Jesus, am I actually becoming more like You? In Episode 64, I'm sharing why From Slumber to Scripture is entering a new season—2.0. We talk about identity, my divorce and one of my deepest regrets, the wounds I've caused people I love, and the story of Peter—the man who loved Jesus deeply and still failed Him. And yet Jesus met Peter on the beach with breakfast, grace, restoration and two powerful words:   "Follow Me." — John 21:19 Maybe your greatest mistake isn't your identity either. We're still seeking truth. We're still opening Scripture. We may even go down a few more rabbit holes. 😉 But now we're asking:   What is knowing the truth actually producing in us? Welcome to From Slumber to Scripture 2.0. We're awake. Now let's learn how to walk with Him.   ☕ PRAY TOGETHER LIVE Join me live most Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 9:30 AM Pacific as we pray together over ourselves, our children and our marriages. What If Knowing Too Much Is Stealing Your Peace? | Ep. 63

The world feels uncertain. AI is advancing. The economy can change. War can happen. And if you've spent time studying prophecy, Revelation, or the possibility that we're living in the final chapters of the biblical story, you may have found yourself wondering: Should we even be making plans anymore?   Why write the book? Why start the business? Why plan the vacation? Why plant something that won't produce fruit for five years? Why dream about ten years from now? In Episode 63 of From Slumber to Scripture, I'm asking a question that hit me after recording last week's episode about AI: How do we build a life when we have absolutely no idea what tomorrow holds? Maybe faith isn't knowing everything is going to work out exactly the way we planned. Maybe faith is saying: "I don't know what tomorrow holds, and I'm going to faithfully build today anyway." Jeremiah 29 gives us an incredible picture of this. God's people were living in exile. Their world had been disrupted. And God told them to build houses. Plant gardens. Marry. Have children. Raise families. Pray for their city. In other words: Build anyway. Plant anyway. Love anyway. Pray anyway. Live anyway. We can be awake without becoming paralyzed. We can research what's happening in the world without allowing fear to steal a future that hasn't even arrived. And we can prepare wisely for tomorrow while still fully living today. Because maybe the question isn't: "How much time do we have left?" Maybe it's: "What am I doing with the time God has already given me?" In this episode we talk about uncertainty, AI, biblical prophecy, fear, preparation vs. obsession, Jeremiah 29, the faithful servant, ordinary life with Jesus, and why Christians should continue building even when the future feels uncertain. Because if the Lord wills… I will build. I will plant. I will love fiercely. I will create. I will serve. I will bear fruit. I will make plans. And I will trust Him with the outcome. 🎙️ From Slumber to Scripture — Episode 63 🙏 PRAY TOGETHER LIVE Join me Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 9:30 AM Pacific as Pray Together Live returns after my surgery and recovery. AI Is Getting Scary. But Are We Afraid of the Wrong Thing? | Ep. 62

What if the warnings about artificial intelligence are right? What if AI becomes something humanity can no longer control? What if it threatens our infrastructure, our security—or even humanity itself? And for those of us who have spent time studying Revelation, Gog and Magog, Satan's Little Season, and the final chapters of Scripture, there's another question: Could AI somehow fit into what comes next? In Episode 62 of From Slumber to Scripture, I'm diving into some of the alarming conversations happening around artificial intelligence and asking what they mean for us as followers of Jesus. But this episode isn't about predicting the future. It's about learning how to live faithfully when we don't know what the future holds. Because maybe the most important question isn't, "Will AI destroy humanity?" Maybe it's: If I knew time was short, who would I become? Would I forgive faster? Would I worry less? Would I love my family more intentionally? Would I stop chasing things that don't matter? Would I tell more people about Jesus? We can stay awake without becoming consumed by fear. We can ask hard questions without allowing those questions to disciple us. TikTok doesn't get to disciple me. YouTube doesn't get to disciple me. AI doesn't get to disciple me. Jesus does. Whether humanity has ten years, one hundred years, ten thousand years—or whether the final chapters are closer than we think—the assignment of an apprentice of Jesus hasn't changed. Stay awake. Stay discerning. Stay rooted in Scripture. Love God. Love people. And follow Jesus today. 📖 Scriptures discussed: Matthew 24:6 Matthew 6:34 Matthew 24:42 2 Timothy 1:7 James 4:13–15 Revelation 20:7–10 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Philippians 4:8 John 10:27 Psalm 46:1–2 🙏 PRAY TOGETHER LIVE Join me Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 9:30 AM Pacific as we pray together live. Are You Awake… or Just Aware? | The Question Every Truth Seeker Should Ask | Ep 61

What if waking up to the deception was only the beginning? For the last year and a half, I've gone down the rabbit holes. Genesis 6. The Nephilim. 1 Enoch. Revelation. Eschatology. Satan's Little Season. Spiritual warfare. Hidden history. Deception. I needed those questions. I needed to seek truth. But something has shifted in me. Because eventually I had to ask a harder question: If I believe we may be living in the last chapters of the biblical story… how does Jesus tell me to LIVE? Jesus warned us about deception—but He also warned that the love of many would grow cold. And that made me look inward. Have I become more cynical? More suspicious? More fearful? More unforgiving? Have I become so focused on identifying darkness that I've forgotten Jesus called me to be the light? This episode gets deeply personal as I share what God has done in my own life over the last seven weeks. My husband left. Divorce was filed. I had to face the possibility that my marriage was over. And for the first time in my adult life, I walked through a devastating crisis with God. I prayed. I fasted. I surrendered. I stopped trying to control the outcome. And then something I couldn't manufacture began happening. Repentance. Forgiveness. Counseling. Healing. Restoration. We are now beginning what I can only describe as a new marriage built on a foundation of God. But perhaps the greatest miracle wasn't only what God was doing around me. It was what He was doing inside me. In this episode, we're talking about: • Truth seeking without allowing our hearts to grow cold • Satan's Little Season and living faithfully regardless of where we are on the biblical timeline • Why discernment and fear are not the same thing • Forgiving people who have deeply hurt us • Loving our enemies • Surrendering control to God • Looking in the mirror before picking up the microscope • Becoming an apprentice of Jesus—not simply someone who knows about Him • What marriage restoration has taught me about surrender • How to become light in a world filled with darkness   And I'm challenging us to a 7-Day Wake-Up Challenge: Before the news. Before TikTok. Before YouTube. Before another podcast. Before another rabbit hole. Sit with Jesus. Ask Him: Where am I holding onto resentment? Who do I need to forgive? Where am I operating from fear instead of trust? Who needs to experience Your love through me today? What are You asking me to surrender?   I'm still going to ask hard questions. I'm still fascinated by the spiritual realm, Genesis 6, the Nephilim, eschatology and Satan's Little Season. But From Slumber to Scripture is entering a new season.   I don't only want to know what Satan is doing. I want to know how Jesus told me to live. I don't only want to expose darkness.   I want to become the light. We're awake.   Now let's learn how to live like it.  Scriptures discussed: Matthew 5:44 Matthew 6:14–15, 25–34 Matthew 7:3–5 Matthew 18:21–22 Matthew 24 John 8:12 John 13:34–35 Psalm 139:23–24    PRAY TOGETHER LIVE Join me LIVE every: Monday — Mercy Monday Praying over ourselves, our hearts and our walk with God. I Woke Up… Now What? | From Seeking Truth to Living It | Ep. 60

For Episode 60, I wanted to pause our study of 1 Enoch and simply share my heart.  When I started From Slumber to Scripture in December, I was waking up.  After spending much of my adult life asleep to God, the Bible, and Jesus, I started searching for truth. I questioned what I had been taught. I researched. I pulled back layer after layer—and that journey took me places I never expected.  But lately, God has been showing me something: Waking up isn't just about discovering what's false. It's about finally living like Jesus is  true.  My life has changed dramatically since this podcast began. I've had to confront questions about  marriage, identity, rejection, motherhood, success, control, and what happens when the things  we've used to define ourselves suddenly change.  And I've found myself asking a much deeper question:  Who am I when the titles, relationships, accomplishments, and people I've depended on  to tell me who I am can no longer do it?  Maybe the greatest awakening isn't uncovering another conspiracy.  Maybe it's realizing Jesus was telling us the truth all along—and finally living like we believe Him.  That's where From Slumber to Scripture is going next.  We're still going to ask questions. We're still going to study Scripture. We're still going to seek truth.  But we're also going to talk about what it looks like to actually LIVE it—in our identity, marriages, parenting, relationships, struggles, and everyday lives.  If you've been waking up too, you're not alone.  Welcome to the next chapter of From Slumber to Scripture.  PRAY TOGETHER LIVE  Join me live every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 9:30 AM Pacific on YouTube: Mercy Monday — praying over ourselves  Warrior Wednesday — praying over our children & future generations  Faithful Friday — praying over our marriages  Subscribe and join me as we continue going From Slumber to Scripture.  YouTube | TikTok | Instagram  @fromslumbertoscripture  #FromSlumberToScripture #FindingJesus #IdentityInChrist #ChristianPodcast #ChristianWomen  #FaithJourney #Jesus #ChristianLiving #BibleStudy #FindingYourIdentity #FaithOverFear  #ChristianEncouragement #Testimony #SpiritualAwakening
