✨Top 2.5% Globally Ranked Podcast✨ Do you want to feel like yourself again, but have no idea where to start? Is making time to prioritize yourself a struggle? Are you tired of feeling like exercise is just another to-do on your list? Want to feel strong and confident in the body God gave you? I’m so glad you’re here! This podcast will help you create simple, consistent habits that lighten the mental load of figuring out what will actually make a difference when it comes to your health—all so you can feel better, have more energy, and become the role model your kids truly need. Hey! I’m Michelle. A toddler mom, wife and dedicated Jesus follower. For 15 years I struggled to find and stick to health routines that were truly effective and had a positive impact on my life. Despite being a leader in the fitness industry, I often approached health with an unsustainable mindset. I was either starving myself or mindlessly overeating; going to the gym for hours at a time or going days without walking further than the fridge. The result was staying in a body that was weighing me down and preventing me from becoming all God had created me to be. I finally realized that if I wanted to feel my best, show up fully for my family and live the life God has called me to, I would need to move beyond extremes and towards stewardship. I needed to build sustainable habits that would help me care for the body God gave me. With years of nutrition and fitness knowledge under my belt, I was able to create a plan that helps me prioritize healthy habits in the midst of a busy schedule. This approach gives me the confidence that I am stewarding my body well, so that I have the energy to be the mother God has created me to be. This is what I want to share with you today! If you are ready to make sustainable changes to your health habits  that fit in with busy seasons of motherhood… To approach wellness as an act of worship- To feel more energized, enjoy exercise again, and step into the healthiest version of yourself,  this podcast is for you! Get ready to move your body and renew your mind—it’s time to glorify God with your health!

46 | The #1 Lie Busy Moms Believe About Their Consistency In Fitness

Do you want to workout but just feel like there isn't enough time in the day?     Between drop-offs, appointments, cooking meals, cleaning and the many other obligations of a busy mom, it can be easy to put a workout at the bottom of our to-do list.     Many times, when it comes time to workout at the end of a crazy day, we just don't feel like it. And then we believe that we are inconsistent, constantly falling off the wagon.     But I'm willing to guess, as a mother, you are not inconsistent. Actually, you are deeply consistent with many things. The difference between your chores and your workout, is that your chores come first and you come last.     When all you are giving yourself is your leftovers, it would be difficult to show up consistently. So on today's episode, I invite you into a priority shift, where actually, biblically, Jesus models retreat. Not after the ministry, but before. As the foundation for it. Yes this is appealing to the spiritual disciplines, but physical disciplines can absolutely live in the same category.     My encouragement to you is to prioritize yourself today in some way. Not because you matter more, but because when you take care of yourself, everyone else benefits.     I pray this blesses you      Connect with me to get more biblical encouragement for workout routines, time management and meal prep ideas for stay-at-home-moms: Contact -> michelle@michelledrake.co Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider

39 | Stop Relying On Motivation - 3 Ways To Automate Your Workout Routine

Do you keep waiting until you feel motivated to workout?   Does it feel like you're wasting precious mental energy deciding when, how, and whether you're going to exercise?   What if there was a way to automate your workout routine so you could stop thinking about exercise so much, and actually do it?   On this episode, I am talking about why motivation is unreliable if you want to make working out a regular part of your life. We will discuss how habits reduce decision fatigue and can actually free up valuable mental real estate.    You will learn: How to give your workouts a permanent place on your calendar Why default workouts make consistency easier  How to use habit stacking to make exercise more automatic   The goal is to build healthy habits that work for you, rather than ones that fight against the natural rhythm of your life. When this is achieved, you can stop spending so much mental energy convincing yourself to [insert healthy habit here]- and start freeing that energy for your family, your responsibilities, your relationships, and the work God has given you.    Connect with me to get more biblical encouragement for workout routines, time management and meal prep ideas for stay-at-home-moms: Contact -> michelle@michelledrake.co Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
