Ep. 14 The Power of the Blood of Jesus - Romans 3 - March 22nd, 2026

n this message, we examine one of the foundational truths of Christianity: the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Drawing from Romans 3 and other key passages, Pastor explains how Christ’s sacrifice satisfies God’s judgment against sin, provides forgiveness, cleanses the believer, justifies us before God, and grants us bold access to His presence.  The sermon also traces the connection between the Old Testament tabernacle and Christ’s finished work on the cross, showing how every sacrifice pointed forward to the Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world. Whether you’re exploring the Christian faith or have followed Christ for years, this message is a reminder of the hope, assurance, and power found in the blood of Jesus Christ. ✝️📖 Key Scriptures:* Romans 3* Hebrews 9 & 10* Ephesians 1:7* 1 John 1:7* Isaiah 59:1-2* Revelation 5If this message encouraged you, please consider subscribing and sharing it with someone who may need to hear it.Gospel Light ChurchComfort, NC🌐 Website: https://www.GospelLightComfort.com 🎧 Podcast: https://www.GospelLightComfort.com/podcast👍 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gospellightcomfort 📷 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gospellightcomfort/🎥 YouTube: https://youtube.com/@GospelLightComfort Need prayer or have questions about faith?📩 Contact us here: https://www.GospelLightComfort.com/contact-us Have Feedback about our show? From moral decline and failing leadership to generational shifts and spiritual rebellion, this sermon challenges believers to remain salt and light in a dark world. This is not a political message, it’s a call to repentance, truth, and faithfulness to God in a culture moving further away from Him. 📖 Scripture: Isaiah 3🙏 Topics include: * Moral decline in society * Leadership and accountability * Respect for God’s order * The condition of modern culture * Hope in Christ during troubling times * The promise of the Lord’s return No matter how dark the world becomes, God still calls His people to stand for truth, live faithfully, and point others to Jesus Christ. Ep. 7 Blessed Are Those Who Mourn - Matthew 5:4 - January 18th, 2026

In this message from Matthew 5:4, we continue walking through the Beatitudes: “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” After briefly revisiting verses 1–3, we turn to the story of Jacob and Joseph. When Joseph’s brothers deceived their father into believing Joseph was dead, Jacob’s grief was immediate, visible, and overwhelming. He tore his clothes and mourned for many days. Deep, undeniable distress that everyone could see. What does that kind of mourning have to do with Jesus’ words in Matthew 5? We also reflect on Psalm 32 and the weight of unconfessed sin. The heaviness David described when he kept silent, and the relief that came with confession and forgiveness. There is a kind of mourning that leads to life. Godly sorrow is not wasted; it leads to restoration. Just as Joseph was eventually restored to his father and Jacob rejoiced to receive him, we are invited to return to our Heavenly Father. When we come honestly, when we mourn rightly, He receives us with joy. Blessed are those who mourn… because true comfort comes from the Father.
