Rum: "Ask Fairies About My Weeping Nights" | Ghazal 1438 | Persian Poetry Podcast

Persian Mystical Poetry Podcast Producer and host: Rasoul Rahbari-Ghazani Co-host: Reyhaneh Davoodi-Kahaki Consultant: Mohammad Davoodi Music: Amirmohammad Monjezi: https://www.youtube.com/@amirmohamdmonjezi   This beautiful ghazal illustrates Rumi’s vision of spiritual restlessness and the soul’s transformation through longing. Rumi presents divine Love as an overwhelming force that exceeds the seeker’s ordinary strength. The lover’s heart is “armless and footless,” unable to keep pace with the Beloved, yet unable to stop following. The poem invites us to ask: what must diminish in us so that a higher light may appear? Shahriar Tabrizi Documentary: From Human to Divine #Love

Persian Mystical Poetry Podcast Producer and host: Rasoul Rahbari-Ghazani Co-host: Reyhaneh Davoodi-Kahaki Consultant: Mohammad Davoodi Music: Amirmohammad Monjezi: https://www.youtube.com/@amirmohamdmonjezi This documentary explores the profound, emotional, and spiritual universe of Shahriar Tabrizi, one of the most influential voices of modern Persian poetry. It illustrates Shahriar’s passages from earthly longing and heartbreak to transcendent love, ethical reflection, and mystical awakening. These poems—rooted in human suffering, nostalgia, and reverence—reveal how Persian mystical literature bridges personal loss with spiritual wisdom. Shahriar’s verses, whether mourning his mother in “Ey Vaay Maadaram,” yearning for childhood in “Khaan Nana,” remembering home in “Haydar-Baaba,” or contemplating divine perfections and proximity in “Ali, Ey Humaa‑yi Rahmat,” speak powerfully to today’s struggles with identity, grief, belonging, and the quest for meaning. His poetry invites us to reflect on love as a transformative force, guiding us from the fragility of human attachment to the vastness of spiritual insight. Ch5. E4/4. Ibn Arabi's Fusus al-Hikam (Seals of Wisdom), Wisdom of Abraham

Rasoul Rahbari-Ghazani Music: Amirmohammad Monjezi: https://www.youtube.com/@amirmohamdmonjezi In the Wisdom of Abraham, Ibn Arabi explores how the divine reality becomes knowable through created existence while always exceeding it. Abraham, named al-Khalīl (“the intimate friend”), symbolizes "mutual indwelling" (permeation): God is manifest in creation, and creation reveals God. The chapter grapples with paradoxes of agency, knowledge, praise, and responsibility, asking how humans both depend on the Real and serve as loci in which divine Names appear. Its central concern is to show that divine transcendence and immanence are not opposites but intertwined dimensions of a single, dynamic relationship between the Real and the human knower. Shams Tabrizi | Discourse 3: "Who Speaks of God?"

Persian Mystical Poetry Podcast Producer and host: Rasoul Rahbari-Ghazani Co-host: Reyhaneh Davoodi-Kahaki Consultant: Mohammad Davoodi Music: Amirmohammad Monjezi: https://www.youtube.com/@amirmohamdmonjezi What gives us the right to speak about God, truth, or even wisdom? In this powerful discourse, Shams Tabrizi confronts the arrogance that can hide behind even the most religious or scholarly words. He asks: "Do you truly understand what you’re saying—or are you just repeating inherited words without tasting their truth?" In this video, I explore Shams’ warning that sacred speech demands purity, not pride; that quoting hadith and Qur’an without real understanding is like wearing borrowed clothes.
